Lovely peaceful natural place. The lake is delightful and teeming with birdlife. Staff gentle and helpful. Good food too. And the tented accommodation is charming. A haven from the hustle and bustle of India. Certainly a highlight of our trip. Remember your binoculars.

People often miss visiting Chittorgarh even though it's just 2 hrs away from Udaipur. An ideal place to stay in Chittorgarh is Hotel Amrit Manthan. Situated next to a petrol pump, perfect for people like me who use a self drive car. We thoroughly loved our stay at Amrit Manthan. The room size was 3 times the size of Taj Lake Palace and washroom was fitted with all modern Jaquar fittings. Room was clean and staff was very responsive. Upon check-in, we were given a list of must-visit places in Chittorgarh & this became our plan for next 2 days. On my request, the hotel staff also arranged a government certified guide, one of the best guide I ever met. The food at the hotel's restaurant is yummy. Do try 'Nargisi Kofta', it's served with 3 different gravies...this dish is unique to Amrit Manthan, you won't find it anywhere else. Their chef has worked with several big hotel chains before joining Amrit Manthan 7 years back. This truly reflects in the restaurant's preparations. We were travelling with 2 small kids, all our special food needs like baby khichdi & spice less aloo paratha were well accommodated by the in-room dining team. I requested for an extra bed for my daughter, the staff prepared the bed with a cosy pink coloured princess themed blanket. My daughter loved it.

This resort features a functional area comprising a dozen well-appointed ground-floor rooms, all overlooking a spacious circular lawn. Each room is tastefully furnished with rich natural wood furniture and accessories. The ample and tidy bathrooms contribute to the overall comfort of the stay. Additionally, every room boasts a small lobby and private fire platforms in the park, creating a cozy atmosphere for guests to enjoy their dinners and drinks on winter nights. While the breakfast offered is reasonably satisfying, there is room for improvement in terms of service. The staff tends to start their mornings a bit late, which may inconvenience guests who prefer early wake-ups or wish to check out promptly. In summary, this resort offers a pleasant and tranquil stay, providing guests with a peaceful night's sleep far away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Aravalli Hillresort is a real family hotel. When we got there there were festivities going on. But you weren't really bothered by the noise in the room. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff helpful and friendly. The service was good. The kitchen served local Indian dishes. Breakfast was included. The manager Mr. Sharma was very helpful in booking a train trip and personally took us to the Station in the middle of the night for our next destination

Very good place to stay and enjoy. Good rooms garden and very good pool. Staff is good and food is also good. Place is well maintained and spacious to enjoy the stay. Stay was comfortable and cost effective. City is not big and you can get Autos to have ride to fort. Overall god experience.

We booked the hotel for a night and it was an average stay overall but they could definitely improve the service for the amount charged since the a/c wasn't working in the room and the room looked average. Usually there is a power cut and they don't switch on the generator. Also they can improve the quality of the breakfast. I guess one can find better hotels in the place at the same price.

This property needs to be improved in terms of cleanliness. Need more staff members to open the main gate, for kitchen and for the luggage pick up. Only one person was roaming here and there for the work. Still he was smiling and doing work. Food is tasty, but needs to have some options. They only served two things. Rest the overall experience was good.

Had a wonderful stay at hotel kumbha and retreat. Rooms were clean, toilets hygienic, and the staff friendly. The rooftop restaurant offered great food with a view of chittorgarh fort. Essential items and a toy store were conveniently located in the nearby market. Highly recommended!
