Hornbill camp provides a fantastic ”glamping” experience on the banks of the Periyar river. The setting is truly stunning and makes up for some of the shortcomings of the resort. The food is average by South Indian resort standards, but at least the tea and coffee were very good. There is basically no WiFi (or very very slow) and no alcohol is served here due to local laws. The tents are a highlight though, with comfortable beds, (good) aircon and a fan, and a decent bathroom. The staff are very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Overall Hornbill provides a good base from where to explore the surrounding areas and attractions.

Stayed for 4 days and guess what the front office staff was unresponsive room cleaning was not done when asked for cleaning then only they came , behaving in a rude manner the two girls in the front of the house were only chatting with each other no greeting or nothing being from a manager of taj green cove it's so pathetic to see this kind of hospitality being offered to us ,my mom and dad told they r charging 43 rs for a water bottle even for tea sachet and creamer ,I don't know the night shift guy was always sleeping in the lobby calling his girlfriend or somewhat ,really pissed of because my family was their I didn't spoked or created a scene their but believe me they are crap ,made my Kerala trip the worse in this journey ,if the CEO or Gm if this hotel is looking into it then do look this issue and hope u will refund my money ,because being from hospitality industry getting a baddest experience is something which I haven't thought of didn't even changed the bed cover ,smokey smell from room even the toilet was like someone pooped and it came on top I was the one who flushed that believe me if someone wants to stay peacefully in Kochi rather book Holiday inn

GGuest UserI’m a British/ Australian female traveller who visited India for the first time with my Partner. Kerala is the first place we visited and I was incredibly impressed with how clean, safe and comfy the homestay was. It is in the perfect location, very short walking distance to Princess street. The hosts are incredibly friendly, they helped me with my washing and also made us two delicious homemade breakfasts. The air conditioning worked really well and there is also a fan. Will recommend this place to any traveller and I would definitely stay here again.

IIvan PranovichThe hotel is located near the Kochi airport (about 5 min trip on taxi). The cost to this hotel with Uber about 500 rupees and to Kochi 1100. I tried to reach them in advance to organize transfer but have not managed. There is working reception at night.
Simple breakfast.
Overall good if you want to stay 1 night and you are scheduled flight from airport nearby.

GGuest UserGreat little hotel. The location is excellent (near the harbor and restaurants) and the staff was very helpful. Excellent value for the cost. Rooms were clean. I had a late evening flight and was allowed to stay in the room past regular checkout time. I also arrived in the middle of the night and there was a nice clerk available. Check-in was quick and I was able to go to sleep shortly after my arrival. I added an extra day to my stay here.

GGuest UserGreat place to stay. Rooms : 4/5. Good rooms with all basic amenities what you can expect for a short stay. Good bed, clean linen, clean towels and bathroom. You may not get very hot water; Only lukewarm water because of solar heating system. Location - 4/5. Easy access to Metro, Cab and Auto. Breakfast - We didn't include that in our package. Plenty of options available nearby. Staff : 5/5. Always attentive and supportive. We will surely comeback.

GGuest UserThe rooms are really comfortable with elegant view of backwaters and with a private balcony! You have everything inside the room.. a dining table, cozy couches, a microwave oven, a refrigerator, a washing machine, an electrical induction cooker, cutlery crockery etc.. I stayed in an apartment with living room, kitchen, two TVs, Two air conditioners and a lot of space.. wonderful stay just few Kms away from the city.. highly recommend this place..

GGuest UserAmazing staff and very beautiful and stylish hotel. The architecture, the rooms, the gardens and pool are really beautiful, sensitive to local styles as well as super comfortable. The pool was very refreshing after a day out in the hot weather and very clean. I had an extremely relaxing Ayurvedic massage in the treatment room with a very experienced practitioner. The breakfast was lovely and the dining room is fresh and charming. But most of all, the staff were incredible! They were there for my every need and provided advice and even booked my train onward train ticket and arranged for me to be taken to the station early in the morning. Its in an interesting location with a theatre right next door. I cannot recommend the wonderful hotel highly enough.

PPANCHALIt was an amazing experience at DoubleTree by Hilton Ahmedabad. I've stayed at this hotel two times in the month of September 2023. All Hotel staff members are very courteous. Rooms are spacious, very neat and clean with a nice open view. For the members they offer lounge access and some of the complimentary SPA services.

Rooms are comfortable but services were not good, no hot water, basic items are provided like water bottle, mugs, dustbin etc by asking specifically and it seems due to vacation season.
