I highly recommend this place for families with children. The location is excellent and the ambience is extraordinary. The resort's theme is Rajasthani and is very well-maintained. The hospitality and food are good, although there are a lot of flies, which can be a bit bothersome. The resort has a swimming pool suitable for children of all ages, but please be cautious as the pool area can get slippery. The resort also offers daily programs which are posted near the reception area to keep everyone entertained. It's not just a place to stay for the night, but a great spot to spend quality time with your family and relax.

My husband and i had the most amazing stay experience at alampura resort. Its a mini paradise in itself. We loved all the water activities - few of them were even complimentary. Our camp or should we call the glamp was super comfortable, and luxurious, with one of the best views one could have asked for. Also, the food is tasty, and breakfast was fresh and with a lot of variety. Thanks to the warmth and generous hospitality of the staff at alampura resort, we had one of the most memorable stay.

The hotel is conveniently located close to both the temple and the junction, with easy access to auto-rickshaws for trips to the temple. The on-site restaurant offers delicious food, but the wait time for a table can be quite long. Aside from this, everything else about the hotel is excellent.

SsolenchinaThe place is five minutes walking to everything and it is nice and clean. There was a noise problem and they changed me to two different rooms until i was happy. There is a restaurant from them at 10 minutes walking with great food.
I traveled on my own and i felt safe here.

The level of the waiter needs to be improved, and the individual temper is tempered. There are many foreign companies in Europe and the United States.

GGuest UserLoved the stay. Staff and service are excellent and reliably great. The location is right in the middle of the town in a main thorough fare, in close proximity to the Temples for those who visit on a pilgrimage to Kanchipuram. The access to the location though, as also visibility from the road leaves room for improvement. Food was delicious and great, and the free breakfast had an elaborate big spread. The courtesy of the staff who are always checking up on you and asking you how's your stay and dining experience deserves a special mention. All in all, a great facility to have in Kanchipuram that makes staying there comfortable and worry free.

Food taste is really good in the in house restaurants, spa facilities are really good
Pool view chalets are also very spacious though are basic category
just outside the room there was large pool and you can enjoy and relax just outside
Overall a very good experience for all age groups families and couples

Staff in restaurant very busy and it was difficult to get attention sometimes. First meal we had was not a good experience but this was handled well and chef prepared a lovely meal next night and waiter was very attentive.
Location and setting cannot be faulted it was very relaxing and beach was deserted!
Will go back for longer stay next time and explore surrounding areas.

GGuest UserThe staff is really cheerful and helpful. The rooms are always kept clean. The in-house restaurant has huge options in breakfast. The swimming pool is also kept clean. The decor is kept tidy in the vicinity. The hotel is at prime location: near to mahabalipuram bust stand, close to the beach (approx 500 mtrs. The reception has simple and authentic decor with lord ganesha's little temple besides. All in all, a excellent stay with affordable prices (courteous staff adds one more star on their ratings.

GGuest Userthough i thought lift is not there and its going to be a bad stay after the hospitality and staying in the spacious rooms my perceptions changed. rooms are clean spacious and wonderful. all sight seeing is very much near so didnt get tired soon. food delivered was very good aince we stayed in 3 different hotels in pondicherry mahabalipuram and chennai niravana was the best stay and food we had. hot poori and subgi was the best .
cons : swimming pool is bit odd and looked like kids pool. we havent used it . if its for 2 day stay for outing dont mind the pool problems 🙂
