Search Best Hotels in Kannur

The ac in the room allotted to me doesnt have cooling at all. Brought this to the notice of staff at reception from day i checked in i. E. May 8th. No action taken so far by the hotel till now, yesterday had told another room will be allotted but that too not done. If the ac is not working then such room shouldn't be put up for online booking. So anybody checking in hotel please ensure ac working properly, because after taking room there won't be any solution to the problem.

Stayed for one night with family during a transit to catch next day flight. Check in was comfortble. Room was spacious and clean. Basic amenities were provided in the room. There was no hot water in the tap. Food in the breakfast has only 2-3 options and all were dosa tems and one bread toast. Biggest plus is that airport departure is at 5 minute drive and the hotel provided a free drop there. A decent hotel to stay during transit to airport.

We recently visited Holistic Eco Resort and booked the Tower Suite, which was supposed to be the best room in the resort. While the view from the suite was indeed breathtaking and the room itself was spacious and well-maintained, our overall experience was good

Having stayed in other niramaya properties, i had similar expectations from vaidekam. Location is a secluded hill top, ideal for a no noise night. The property has two entry points. The one google suggests is a twisted one through a 'jungly' area which makes you wonder whether you are lost in the middle of nowhere. Dont take this one especially if you are coming in the night. You are greeted by friendly and courteous staff. Check in process was seamless. Elderly might a vehicle to move around between room and restaurant / spa etc, because the area of this property is quite vast. The rooms are really spacious, clean, airy, and understated with all necessary creature comforts and paraphernalia that you expect in this price point. The view for almost all rooms should be similar i think : all overlook the valley of the small hillock where this property is located. I was unhappy about three things here. First was the very minimal landscaping and gardening. Probably they wanted to maintain that rustic vibe, or may be the works are underway. But when you pay a fortune for one night, you would be expect some visually appealing landscape. Second, there were mosquitoes in our room (not in our other family member rooms) and and couldn't sleep well. And third, even though the dinner items were fairly priced, the taste was ok and the tea and snacks were exorbitantly priced for the quality offered. But no qualms there because it doesn't really spoil your experience. Breakfast spread was good and tasted great. Swimming pool was also well maintained, but no kids area. Activity centre was limited with a treadmill, a body massager and some games. Overall, this is an ayurvedic retreat rather than a resort per se. If you are going as a couple to just unwind, it's good. But if you are going with kids for a family picnic, this may not be worth your money.

Seems like a reasonably new property but a lot of their fittings appear dated. My water closet simply wouldn't flush properly and you do not need a vibrant imagination to realise the results. The ac in my room too had a mind if it's own, choosing to work and strike work randomly. The buffet breakfast is very pedestrian and the coffee is horrendous (i'm a coffee geek so i might have a bias here. I didn't try other meals as there are plenty of good restaurant options nearby. Most of the staff seem unmotivated and unhappy at their jobs. Beware that if you select the third floor like i did, good luck sleeping as the 4th floor has a party hall where something is always happening and there are always people 'singing' off key into the microphone. This place is rated as a 4 star hotel but i think even 3 stars would be stretching it. I selected it only because i needed to access some nearby areas during my trip.

The environment is good and the room is clean. I will definitely stay again if I travel to Kannur India. 👍🏻

The location is very good and food also good. The amenities also satisfactory. However we found noise from neighbouring rooms was a disturbing feature. The gap underneath the doors was too much which caused the noise to enter inside. This was conveyed to the reception then itself. The services overall were very good.

The place is great, with a beautiful view of the sea. The beach is a bit of a walk but nothing serious. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was clean, although there was some trash outside my door that was taken away only a day after i arrived. Overall great experience!
