· Updated but simple. Liked how the toilet and shower are separate. Warmed floors in shower and toilet areas. My room had its own sink. Has shoes off policy. Extremely comfortable bed. Crisp white sheets. Very helpful front desk in the morning. All rooms on the ground floor. It was located right in the middle of a camping ground and pizza parlor! The location itself serves its purpose in the Myvatn area. It was one of the more expensive places where I have stayed during my 19 day trip. The pillowcase was dingy...didn’t quite match with the sheets. My outgoing mail WiFi didn’t work although could receive messages.

1. The front desk and breakfast are close to their dairy factory. The living environment of the cows inside is very clean and the staff take good care of them. 2. The room is located in a row of log cabins across the road, which is very comfortable. 3. Breakfast is great 4. The girl at the front desk was very polite and patient.

A standard hotel, you can buy discounted hot spring tickets at the front desk, and have a rich Western-style breakfast. Although the location is not on the main kilometer, it is not too far away, but unknown flying insects are flying all over the sky. The hotel's location should be suitable for watching the aurora in winter. !

Stayed there as a family for four nights and the two girls that were running this place where so hospitable. Their service was very good. We have a 19 month baby girl and we came a little bit early, called them and asked for a early check in. No problem. When we arrived almost everything was ready with a children´s bed and everything. Our doughter has allergic to eggs and milk and they custom made breakfast for us. I myself ate the buffet and it was really good! The bed was good and the room that we got was separate from the main building, it had a sink in it and a desk. You can hear commotion if somebody is opening doors but its ok. There was 2 toilets both with showers, everything clean and a small kitchen where you could cook, store your food in the fridge and eat at a table. I accidentally broke an bottle opener and told them about it and they just brought me a new one. I promised to buy a new one but I totally forgot it. I recommend this place, especially if you have kids. Just let them know beforehand and they will take good care of you.

Located next to Lake Myvatn, with beautiful scenery, we continued to stay in Bogaja. Compared with the previous two hotels, this hotel occupies a larger area and has hot springs. We stayed on the first floor, which is a connecting room. It is much more convenient to open the middle door. The window is the hot spring. In the evening, foreigners came with drinks to enjoy it. We could only shyly draw the curtains 😂 The hotel has an elevator, so there is no pain of moving luggage, but the room number is a bit confusing. You need to find it when you first arrive. The price including breakfast is not cheap, but there are indeed many varieties and good quality. The salmon is fresh and the fruits are sweet. All kinds of bread, cakes and biscuits are delicious.

Pros Clean laundry is available Toilets are separate from showers so when you have to pee in the morning you aren't waiting for people to finish as shower. I wasn't aware of any waits for either toilets or showers. Plugs for / by each bed Nice towels,pillows duvets etc Good internet for what we needed Window opens to cool the room off well. Cons Missing kitchen stuff - ie they don't have can openers, spatulas or hot pads to grab hot pots or hand towels to dry dishes. The room is cramped/tight Have to pay for bedding, it isnt included Laundry is pricy 1500 for wash another 1500 to dry. Not sure I'd go back even if it was the best deal... depends on how much extra the next place to stay was.
