Fantastic place with fantastic staff and services ; everyone was so kind ! The hotel is located in a son nice area with a fantastic view. Includes in the price, you have access to the swimming pool + discount in the restaurant witch is really excellent ! Everyone in the staff was really nice and fully dedicated. Diner with the view from the terrasse was delicious. Only a bit of noise with motorcycles enjoying the nice roads and first rays of the sun …

We have just returned from two wonderful weeks at Poiano Resort in the hotel. This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. We had two standard rooms one of which had probably the best view I've ever had from a hotel balcony, the other one was pleasant although not as stunning. The rooms themselves were of a high standard equipped with ample storage space, fridge, TV, kettle and a hairdryer in a decent sized bathroom. Regular servicing/cleaning took place and were maintained to a high standard. The resort has a relaxed family feel but service levels are high particularly in the restaurant. We stayed half board and along with a good varied breakfast, enjoyed a set meal type menu in the evenings. We had wondered what the choice would be like in the evenings but need not have worried. There was salad bar, followed by two courses that you choose on the day then dessert buffet. The starter/mains were meat, fish and vegetarian choices and offered a lovely range of authentic Italian food. We tried lots of dishes which we probably wouldn't have done otherwise and never ate the same thing twice (except the tiramisu but when in Rome...) Absolutely delicious!!! Food and drink orders were taken at the table by the range of attentive waiters and the house wine was particularly good and only cost 2.5 Euros a glass. The resort has a large pool with lots of sunbeds, and other sporting facilities. There are some activities available in the day; football, water polo etc, which were fun options but didn't overly intrude on the peace. The local area is easy to explore by bus, or boat and plenty to keep both adults and 3 teenagers interested. Overall a fantastic holiday. Wish we were still there!

We spent a few days at the B&B Hotel Affi Lago Di Garda this week and I have mixed feelings about the place. The staff were excellent. They worked very hard to understand and be understood and were extremely helpful. The Room The room was a good size with high ceilings and a large window. The bed and pillows were excellent. The bathroom included a bath, very good shower and bidet. Everything was clean and in great condition. There was a safe and a small fridge in the wardrobe, a desk, chair and stool. On the downside, there are no coffee/tea making facilities in the room, and we had to ask at reception for two (plastic) glasses so we had something do drink from. The aircon system in the room unfortunately wouldn't turn down and would only pump out heat. The temperature got as high as 30C so we had to sleep with the windows opened to be comfortable. The room also only came with a single toilet roll, which caused a rushed and embarrasing trip in the lift to get another from reception. Facilities This is a basic hotel offering the minimum of facilities, but at the price it's what you would expect. There is a seating area in reception and tables outside, which we saw a few other guests using. In reception there are fridges selling water, soda and alcoholic drinks at reasonable prices and some shelves of basics like biscuits and deoderant, which you pay for at reception. The staff are happy to order taxis and add breakfast to your booking if you haven't included it already. Breakfast Terrible. The breakfast room is large and the staff member working in there was very efficient, but the food is absolutely awful. The only hot food on offer at breakfast is chopped-up hotdog sausages and scrambled egg. As for the rest, there is off-brand breakfast cereal, bread, cheap local ham, cheese and some fruit. This is not a good selection at all and leaves you feeling inadequately set up for the day, especially from a hotel that has the word 'breakfast' right there in its name. In the dining room there is also a machine offering fruit juice and a very good coffee machine. Lastly: The hotel is NOT on Lake Garda. You cannot see the lake from the hotel. It is a 20 minute, €45 taxi ride from the lake. If you want to get to somewhere beautiful like Sirmione, then the cab will cost you a minimum of €80, each way. Taxis generally are EXTREMELY expensive, and for a hotel as far away from the airport as this one is, they can affect the whole holiday negatively.

Siamo stati il 10 settembre al ristorante per un anniversario di matrimonio: semplicemente tutto stupendo! Il servizio è stato impeccabile sotto ogni aspetto: la sala era stata allestita con dei bellissimi fiori ; i camerieri sono stati uno meglio dell'altro per cortesia competenza e disponibilità, sempre cordiali e attenti in ogni servizio. Il cibo è stato ottimo superando ogni aspettativa con prodotti di ottima qualità cucinati splendidamente e porzioni davvero più che adeguate con impiattamento sempre ricercato. Anche il dolce di loro produzione è stato davvero buonissimo. Davvero tutto stupendo, hanno saputo rendere una giornata di festa davvero speciale! Da provare...
