We are currently still present at the Grand Palladium in Sicily. For us it is the worst 5 star and all in experience we have ever had. This hotel is certainly not worthy of 5 stars, and certainly not recommended. The prices are not in line with what you get. The buffet is not varied and tasteless, the food is not warm enough. The first day upon arrival all the lights on the screens of the refrigerated counters at the buffet were red, the 2nd and 3rd day, the screens were off. And yesterday there were suddenly refrigeration technicians on the property. And yesterday everything worked again. all refrigerated counters were back on, with blue screens and no more red ones. I assume that there was a problem with the cooling of the food and that this was nicely concealed from the guests. We have not eaten outside the hotel yet and I have been feeling unwell for 3 days with the necessary toilet visits. This is being kept quiet in all languages ​​and no mistakes are admitted. The rooms are neat, but small and a bit decorated, but not in accordance with a 5 star hotel. On arrival it was said that the mini bar is included but it is never or hardly replenished or you have to ask for it yourself. And then they say that it is not included. When booking it is advertised in such a way that it causes doubt. On arrival there was almost no water coming out of the shower, barely enough to rinse me off. There was a lot of pressure from the tap, so I suspect that they reduce the pressure in the showers to save water. This was suddenly resolved after I complained about it. Everywhere on the domain you see bait boxes for rats or mice, these would be better out of sight. A few days ago it was difficult to get a place outside because it was all full, but I don't want to sit in that refectory in the chaos. Yesterday at breakfast at 10:25 they came to say that breakfast closes in 5 minutes. It came across as, we want you to be gone within 5 minutes. The Thai restaurant is not Thai worthy. They try but the food is not of this quality. The Portofino restaurant is better, less stressed. What also really bothers me is that this hotel does class ranks. When booking, there is no mention of TSL the signature level. IF you pay 50 euros per person per day extra, you get priority at a la carte restaurants, better quality of food, better drinks, a separate swimming pool, you sit away from the other guests, a separate part at breakfast where you are not allowed as a non-signature guest. The signature guests are also allowed to go to breakfast longer. I find this signature level story very derogatory towards the other guests. It is described as all-in but it certainly is not. At dinner you sometimes have to beg for an extra glass of wine. Upon arrival you get a purple wristband that you have to wear for the entire stay, you feel like a dove with a ring around your neck. Weekend in a family of 5 people in a apartment. The hotel is a historical residence, but it is maintained and well treated, and it needs to be self-promoted for movements because it is a little far from the residential centre or the beach. Excellent buffet breakfast, abundant and international service on a terrace with sea view. The hotel is very clean and large enough to include all the guests inside and outside the hotel. Excellent solution for a weekend in relax.

Mangia's Himera exceeded our expectations. I got married in Sicily and brought my entire family (around 80 people) to stay for a week. Without a doubt, it is one of the best family resorts in Sicily. The first thing I notice in a hotel is cleanliness, and I can confirm that the resort was impeccably clean throughout our stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the resort offers a variety of activities for both individuals and groups, making it a priority to fill your days with laughter and enjoyment. As Maltese people accustomed to air conditioning during summer, we were initially concerned, but this was the first time I had to turn the AC down because I felt cold during the day. The food was outstanding. Despite my numerous food allergies, the staff were flexible and accommodating, making our stay much more enjoyable. I highly recommend this resort to anyone, whether you're traveling alone or with a large family like ours. They truly make you feel welcome.

We always try to find smaller boutique hotels to stay at when we travel and we found Limen Wellness Hotel online. We didn’t really know what to expect from a wellness hotel but it sounded great. We spent a few nights at “Limen” in October 2023 and want to share our wonderful experience. The hotel is situated just off the main road from Palermo towards Cefalu. The location is excellent with several options for nearby restaurants (by car). We especially loved Ron e Salvo, which is amazing! It’s also a short drive to the long sandy beach. We were warmly greeted by the Limen staff at check-in and they stored our luggage for us until our room was ready. (We arrived early) The room was very spacious, clean and the bed was super comfortable. Every area of the hotel had a lovely SPA sense and smell to it. The pool/jacuzzi area was calm, beautiful and perfect. We also booked massages in the SPA and they were very relaxing. The best part of the stay was the breakfast buffet! A wonderful spread of choices, hot food, breads, cereals, yogurts, fruit, cakes, fresh juices, coffees and an incredible hot chocolate. The breakfast really sets the tone for the Wellness hotel since we felt great starting our days with breakfast by the pool. The staff was absolutely lovely and very attentive. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
