Ok, just stayed for one night, the room was spacious and very quiet. The elevator, like most hotels in Italy, is small enough to accommodate only one person. The hotel owner is very warm. The location is near the train station, the distance is also 300 meters, of course, the first time to go is not very easy to find. Breakfast is relatively simple. There are a lot of small shops around, and bars and restaurants open at night during the day or have a short time.

La struttura, che si trova a poca distanza dal casello autostradale di Fiumefreddo, è immersa in un oasi di pace tra verde, alberi secolari e una splendida piscina curata e pulitissima, dalla quale si può ammirare un panorama spettacolare. Le camere sono spaziose e pulite. Ottima e abbondante la colazione al buffet. Top il ristorante con un menù curato e saporito. Abbiamo molto apprezzato, complimenti allo chef!!! Personale di sala professionale, attento e disponibile alle nostre richieste... grazie di cuore al Signor Carmelo e alla Signora Alina. Ci avete coccolato! Se si vuole trascorrere un po' di tempo nell'assoluto relax questo è il posto giusto. Speriamo di tornare presto. Consigliatissimo.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for 7 nights. From start to finish the staff were extremely warm and welcoming, and any request, no matter how small, was met with and smile and a willingness to help. The feeling was of a family run establishment. The rooms, whilst a little basic, were functional and comfortable as we spent most of our time out and about. Breakfast, from a British perspective was a little limited in variety, but what there was, was plentiful and more than sufficient to start the day. We only ate an evening meal in the hotel once, because of our touring schedule, but what we had was really nice and freshly prepared. Our room had a distant view of the sea and over the strait to mainland Italy (on a clear day). On the short walk to the breakfast room we could turn and look at the view of Etna, which changed on a daily basis from under cloud to full sun and all in between, and we were even able to see the plume of smoke emitting from the active crater. The highlight of our stay was a flight by helicopter (Helisicily) over Etna, which took off from its helipad just 100 metres from the hotel, and was discounted as a hotel resident. The hotel was quiet, away from any roads, but suitably located for easy travel to places such as Catania and Taormina. I would definitely recommend and will return on a future visit to Sicily.
