I loved this stay a lot more then some of the hotels in my trip, felt nice having your own key to a building. The room really surprised me, it was really nice and also in such a good spot of la spezia. La spezia surprised me, I was nervous as it seemed a bit rough around the edges but honestly such a lovely stay with trendy bars in every alleyway, just got to explore the streets. 10 min walk to the station which is right on the main Cinque Terre line going to the towns, I was a pro by the end of my stay. I felt like this was the place I actually met other Italians as the cinque Terre can be super congested with tourists so I really recommend staying here instead of one of the 5 towns and making base doing day trips to the villages. The reception were really lovely and helped you try and understand the area before letting you go off to your apartment room. I didn't spend much time in the room but I slept really well and all the facilities worked and there was information in the hallway if needed about ferry times and spots to go to. La Spezia was also one of the more affordable parts of Italy I went to with some really good food and drinks.
Very nice hotel not luxurious but comfortable, the staff was very friendly and service oriented. Rooms had a good size and the bathroom was clean and with all the ammenities. It is very well located at the beginning of Rionaggiore, the first of the 5 villages. Totally recommend it.

Nice family hotel, the landlord is very enthusiastic, we will wait for the turnkey downstairs when we check in, we have a warm explanation for the problem, leaving us a small gift: Italian soap, a very good experience
We stayed 4 nights. It was great. They put us in one of the rooms on the station side of the railway tunnel. Just a hop, skip and a jump from the station which was ideal for us as we arrived by train, had a few days in the Cinque Terre, took the train to Pisa for a day ams then took the train to Rome at the end. It’s also very handy to La Spezia town, restaurants etc. we also walked from there to the Ferry to go to Porto Venere for the day. reception was very helpful. Room was great and the coffee machine and pods were much appreciated. Location excellent. The only negative (which didn’t bother us too much) - no elevator. Other than that, we had a great stay.
We stayed here and was really happy with the location for the most part. It's on top of a hill, so if you are on foot, a taxi is best. Shopping and supermarkets are very close as is the ferry to Cinque Terra, you can walk to both in less than ten minutes. Rooftop bar is excellent, great views. There is also buses and restaurants close as well. The only thing we didn't like, on each floor is a common terrace, smokers use this and the smell does waft into the rooms. Also I was very surprised by a guest vaping at reception talking to staff and no one challenged him to not smoke indoors, even though there are signs everywhere. It is value for money and the staff were very helpful.
We could not have had a better experience in La Spezia. There are not many hotels in the area and it was great. It is very close to the Cinque Terre train station. The hosts were amazing and made the trip special with excellent restaurant recommendations and parking arrangements. The micro hotel is in a big old building but when you arrive the rooms are big and comfortable. The only drawback was the very small old elevator which we used to transport our luggage.
I stayed only one night in a little comfortable room, with old colour and a closed smell. My room was not present in the photos shown on the website and breakfast, unlike what is written, was not included in the package. My ”apartment” was equipped with little comfort, even the bathroom window was not closed, with inside a door on which was indicated the ”access ban” sign; moreover, The room window was given on the indoor courtyard of another house. The check in was made online and no one came to my door, so much that I was asked to leave the money of the room stay fee in a bag that would then be The only positive point is cleaning, even though the clothes that were offered to us were used.
A stay at Lina Suites & Rooms places you in the heart of La Spezia, within a 5-minute walk of Piazza Garibaldi and Church of Nostra Signora della Salute. This affittacamere is 0.2 mi (0.3 km) from Corso Cavour and 0.3 mi (0.5 km) from Church of Nostra Signora della Neve.

Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and satellite programming is available for your entertainment. Conveniences include coffee/tea makers and complimentary bottled water, and housekeeping is provided daily.
The rooms are very nice, but a bit small. However, there is no reception. If you are lucky you will see small plaque (see photo) near a large door which infers that you are in the right place. However, there is no clue as to how to get in. When I rang the number on the booking form I was informed that I had been sent a WhatApp message with instructions as to how to get in - not a lot of use when travelling all day on Italian trains with no wifi. To be fair, the chap did turn up within 5 mins or so and let us in, but not a great start.

Outstanding
We booked 2 nights with breakfast included. We were 2 adults with our 16 year-old daughter. The room is comfortable and it has all you need and won't break the bank. The staff was really helpful and suggested a great restaurant for the first night. The location is awesome, being right above the train station, it makes it perfect for a day trip to Cinque Terre. The room has a kettle, coffee and tea and some complimentary cookies. There is storage for your clothes (armoire). There is a common room with 2 loveseats and books to borrow/take/exchange. There is no elevator and we were on the 3rd floor. Not a big deal for us, but good to know in advance. Communication with the staff in advance was great and they were helpful to get us there easily. We also booked for breakfast. They give you a voucher for a coffee shop one street over for a coffee and croissant. The place and staff was great. The croissant was really tasty. I would recommend this hotel.
GGuest UserFantastic location in La Spezia at 100m from the train to visit Cinqueterre. You can also book the private parking and the staff are very nice and give you plenty of information and recommendations. They even gave us an iron when we asked for it. The only con would be that our bathroom was little and you had to close the door in order to get to the washbasin.
AAlfYYI LOVE this place! It's right up the town of La Spezia. Excellent ”hide-away”, though it's a bit of a challenge to get there. Up the narrow winding road that leads up to this hidden gem of a location. Beautiful & fresh mountain views and excellent fresh mountain air!
The beds were comfortable - firm which is to my liking & toilet was a decent size.
Breakfast was surprisingly decently spread despite only 2 families being there (including myself) from 0800-1000.
We were given the GND Floor room, which is superb because it opens up to the outdoor lounge are which overlooks the beautiful harbour of La Spezia.
Don't expect much as there are no facilities - this is a 2 star hotel/accommodation.
HHoCassandraThe hotel is in an excellent location, only a few minutes away from the train station. Some of the rooms in the hotel have been renovated, but the room I stayed in was not renovated because it was a budget room. The room is underground. The walls and carpets in the corridor are dark in color and there is insufficient light. It feels a bit gloomy. The furniture in the room is shabby, the carpet is dull and the hair is falling off. I feel uncomfortable. I stayed for two nights and stayed there the next day. Skin allergies appear.
Moreover, because it is a ”affordable” (hotel definition) room, it does not provide distilled water or a water boiler, nor does it provide free tea bags or coffee. The most outrageous thing is that there are no water cups, and the plastic cups used for brushing teeth will be taken away the next day! We booked five rooms. I stayed in an ”affordable” room, but the hotel did not indicate in advance that the room I stayed in did not provide the above items, so I just thought that compared with the other four rooms, my room was smaller. That’s all.
We recently completed a trip through Europe by train staying in each country in four star hotels. The one hotel that stands out the most from all the rest was the Poet Hotel, La Spezia, Italy, unfortunately not for all the right reasons ! Although out of the seven hotels we stayed , the Poet was the most basic of all, in fact we'd be generous giving it a three star. The room we stayed in was very cramped, no cupboards, no draws, or wardrobe to unpack clothes etc. Just a bed, an open clothes rail, a mirror and tiny small shelf-desk. Although we found it clean this fell far below the standards in all the other hotels we stayed. We went through all the channels on the T.V and the BBC, CNN were not available. For a language commonly used widely around the world, you would have thought there would have been at least one channel in English available. When asking the receptionist which way to the bar, she smiled and said ”the reception desk is the hotel bar ” and that they would get us drinks and we could drink them in the breakfast area, goes to say, we didn't bother. The Hotel's web site clearly shows a bar but we didn't see one and to sit in the breakfast area, no thanks. There is a sign in the hotel saying ”Enjoy the Fun” I'm afraid no fun to be had here. We did contact our travel company and they were very quick to get straight back with a message saying that they had contacted the hotel management and that they were aware of the issues. No one contacted us from the management rest of the three nights we stayed but we decided to not spoil the holiday and tough it out. This hotel was more like an up-market student hostel and clearly if you like living out of your case off the floor this is the place for you. Alan Carlisle
JJianclose to the portal, need take taxi or bus to the train station. While I enjoy 20minutes walking through the main street to get there.
Great staff, checked in for me earlier than expected, because the room was ready. I appreciate that.
I paid in a good price for Clean and good amenities, very happy stay there.
If I'm going back to the city, I'm gonna stay with them again
GGuest UserWe stayed a night...small but very comfortable, clean and absolutely quiet room...then Mrs. Johanna the owner absolutely very kind and friendly , gave us advice on what to visit in the short time we had...then Very strategic location ...to reach the 5 lands, just a few minutes walk from the railway station, just as close to the center... I recommend booking the car park... which is just in front of the stable...so I have nothing to do compliments and thanks for welcomed us in this short stay....we will surely return to you.. THE COUNCIL VIVously!!!
GGuest UserThe gentleness and availability of staff.......the centrality of the structure ... . the very good breakfast ... have led us to spend two nights pleasantly in our stay to see the 5 winter land ... surely if we come back to the We have a safe support point.
