Our second trip to this outstanding resort and once again it exceeded our expectations. The staff went out of their way to make this such a memorable trip. We had a few problems with car hire which the staff went above and beyond to help us sort. Alessandro the hotel manager took a personal interest in helping us which was a much appreciated personal touch. Breakfast is a highlight on a beautiful veranda overlooking Lake Lugano with no request being too much for the delightful and accommodating staff. On both occasions accommodation has been fantastic with both rooms having a beautiful view of the lake. Beds are wonderfully comfy and pillows are wonderful. Really pleasant bar manager Marco would go to great lengths to serve us. Again a wonderful personal touch. Walking into Cimi and Porlezza is both a really lovely experience with an abundance of Olive trees and fig trees surrounding the complex. We had a couple of overcast days where we used the spa facilities. Again a superb experience. I would highly recommend this environment conscious, customer conscious resort.

We have just returned home from a week at this hotel feeling very relaxed. The staff in all areas from reception to restaurant staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious and had a lovely view of lake Lugano. We did not pay to use the adult only spa but used the family spa and sauna. We found the best time to go was after 6pm as it was quieter. The spa had sauna, steam room and relax area where children under 16 were not allowed. There are 2 outdoor pools which we did not try as they are not heated and also private beach area. We were on half board, the breakfast had so much choice. The evening menu changed each evening, we had to pay for our drinks. There is parking on site but it is chargeable. The staff are knowledgeable on places to visit.

La gentilezza è di casa al B&B Michelina che unito a camere spaziose e pulitissime ne fanno un vanto. Anche la scelta di cenare al ristorante La Torre si è rivelata vincente! La valle poi è stata una piacevole scoperta, dunque il B&B è il luogo giusto per riposarsi dopo una bella escursione per i monti della valle Intelvi

The view from our small balcony with chair and table was wonderful. The location was ideal for getting around on the ferry and for spending evenings in Menaggio, although there aren't many restaurants in town. The charm was there. The bedroom has shutters and curtains. The rooms of “the dependence” are part of the hotel du lac located 20m below, everything is explained in front of the gate. The hotel has parking.

This truly turned out to be an exceptional place. Literally right on the lake, location could not be better. Also near to some shops and restaurants in both directions along the lake road. The beautiful room was very spacious, and the bathroom was almost as big. We were fortunate to get a corner room with two balconies. Tip: Get a room with a balcony! The hotel is also on a rather busy road. The traffic did not bother us at all, but for light sleepers it might be noisy. We also tried the restaurant in the evening. The food and the service were both excellent, top notch. Breakfast was also very good, not a huge selection, but with high quality products. The staff was also very friendly. Would definitely come back!
