"Right in front of Trieste Central Station. It was very convenient to go anywhere. There was also a supermarket nearby. "I made my first trip to Trieste. The hotel is close to the station and you can walk to the downtown area, so the location is good. Access to tourist bases is also outstanding. "I have only positive things to say about the Victoria Letterario, even after the shock during the check in. Upon arrival for check in, the reception staff told me that my booking was cancelled! I showed them the communication of trip.com 3 days earlier confirming my booking, which their system has not registered. Jorge, the concierge, was very apologetic and offered me the only room available that day which I accepted, while he will get in touch with the intermediary to find out what went wrong. It appears that trip.com and similar platforms purchase the beds in great numbers from a company hotelbeds.com- I went to my room and I came down with my iPad and I and Jorge got in touch with Trip.com via my account. Trip.com replied immediately, confirming my booking and promising that they will get in touch with hotelbeds.com. As it was already 7pm, Trip.com did no manage to get through the staff at hotelbeds. Trip.com advice that if hotelbeds.com did no reply or confirm the booking then I'll have to pay and Trip.com will refund me right away. I was happy with that. I stayed the 2 nights in the hotel, and only the morning of the day I checked out the hotel Victoria Letterario received finally the confirmation of the booking from hotelbeds. Trip.com was every effective in dealing with the issue and I'll use them again and Jorge, at the Victoria Letteriario dealt with the issue very professionally all they way through, so did the manager of the hotel too. Trieste is a small city, and you can walk from the hotel to the major landmarks in 20 minutes. I loved the decoration of the rooms, the bathroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The TV channels were all in Italian but I don't care much about the telly when I travel. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast, it has everything that a good hotel breakfast should have and more, namely its attentive staff. A five stars stay!!!"

Elegant rooms equipped with slippers, bathrobes, iron, ironing board, soap, shaving kit, safe, etc. My room also had a sofa and two armchairs, a coffee table and two chairs. Everything was very elegant. There was also a wet bar with a Lavazza coffee machine and kettle, and of course, pods and tea. A convenient wardrobe and dressing area with space for suitcases. Top. Breakfast is served in the building's original and antique-decorated rooms, featuring mosaics, marble columns, and antique furnishings. If you arrive by car, you can park in front of the hotel and give them the keys. They will take your car to and from the hotel for €12, plus the €20 daily parking fee. Recommended.
