Mikawa-Anjo might sound like some kind of pointless backwater compared to Nagoya, but it is only a 15-minute shinkansen stop away, the prices of everything are cheaper than they are in the big city, and it generally feels like a breath of fresh air compared to hectic Nagoya. Breakfast can be (was) amazingly spacious and uncrowded if you are used to other Toyoko's. Otherwise, identical to other Toyoko Inns -reliably solid, with unfailingly courteous staff.
