"This is a place where all the staff and room conditions were very satisfied!
The hot springs that I enjoyed while looking at the snow were really romantic
I think it's best to come with family or with friends of the same sex
I want to visit again"
"There are plenty of places for the kids to play, so even when we had to wait a little, they didn't get bored and were in a good mood! The staff were also kind, and it was nice to see them waving and talking to the kids. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with children!"
"👍🏽Pros:
- Free shuttle bus to and for Sapporo station
- A variety of complimentary tea bags in the lobby
- Public bath is awesome! There are 7 kinds of baths. My favorite one is the open bath, where I bathed when it was snowing. What a extraordinary experience.
- Dinner and breakfast are buffet style. Many options and food is yum.
- Some reviews mentioned that the facilities/room seemed old, but I found the vintage Japanese-Style room comfortable and great. I really enjoyed the stay!
- There are 2 massage chairs next to public bath.
👎🏽Cons:
- Not many staffs speak English so it's a bit difficult to communicate. It took a while for the front desk staff to find our bookings.
- Private bath is not worth it. It's a waste of money.
- Needs to put up signs about the etiquette of using public bath. When I took a shower in the public bath, the Korean group all showered while standing and kept splashing. They chatted loudly and shouted at each other. One of them even kicked water in the bath......"

"A really great hotel. Before arrival, the hotel contacted us through Trip.com's international customer service to confirm our check-in time, transfer requirements, and any dietary restrictions or allergies. All arrangements were made in advance. Check-in was very smooth, and communication in English was flawless. The hotel's decor was wonderfully atmospheric. The private onsen in the room was incredibly convenient and enjoyable, with the option to use the public bath as well."
"For just one night, I chose the most affordable hotel in Lake Toya. I wasn't expecting much, but the room was clean. The receptionist spoke good English and was very polite. The public baths were also okay."
The Sea Side House Toya provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Sea Side House Toya offers a pleasant stay in Toyako for those traveling for business or leisure. Usu Station is located approximately 3km away from this hotel. With multiple attractions nearby including Ousuyama Shrine, Usuzenkoji Natural Park and Zenkoji, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. Guests of this Toyako hotel can make use of the parking facilities.
"This is the most satisfying house I have ever lived in Japan. No matter the size, facilities and environment are first class, there is a feeling of being in New Zealand.
Environment: About 2 kilometers from Toya Lake Commercial Street, a little distance walk, very quiet, surrounded by scattered residential rooms. It was a little scared outside the house in the middle of the night.
Service: Wanshi Pavilion takes the key, check out and put the key directly in the villa, check out at 10 o'clock is more troublesome
Facilities: The information shows that it has been open for 23 years, but the facilities inside are obviously not new. Some years, but the maintenance is very good. The things used are very advanced. The sink in the kitchen is particularly good. Microwave oven, oven, tea set tableware induction cooker have everything, especially the whole hot spring, dressing room, There are showers, it feels like a holiday house designed by rich people for themselves, and later sold to Wanshige.
Location: There is a convenience store 5 minutes walk. But if you are not driving, it is not recommended."
