"The lake view room has a beautiful view. The room is clean and comfortable. I stayed for two nights. There are many choices for breakfast and dinner. The taste is good. You can taste local specialty ingredients. The dinner on the second night was richer than the first night."
"Hotel route-inn Ena Good location, walk to Don Don, restaurants and convenience stores. Breakfast people are not crowded and the food is quite satisfactory. This time, a family of 3 people has booked a single room and a twin room because there is no 3 person room. The size of the room is suitable for 2 people and one person. Health can be. Will stay at the Hotel route-inn hotel chain again in the future. Thank you."
"Simply an amazing stay. First trip to Japan and first ever stay at a Ryokan & was not disappointed. The mother & daughter (5th & 6th generation)hosts were super accommodating and felt very privileged that they had opened their Inn for solo travelers like myself to enjoy. The feeling of history at the Inn, felt almost like staying within a piece of living art. Ikebana display in the front display and Bonsai in the courtyard that are over 500 hundred years old, it made the whole experience an immersive one. The dinner and breakfasts were an experience that were perfectly executed. Of course local / home grown ingredients were the stars of these meals and every dish was tastier than the last. Thank you for making my stay feel comfortable and relaxed. Ena is one of the historical postal towns on the Nakasendo trail & recommend visiting and staying here if you are taking the less touristy route. とても思い出に残る滞在にしてくださった旅館のとても親切なスタッフに感謝します。"
"This place is so beautiful, traditional style rooms and sliding doors, lots of natural wood. It felt like I was in a luxury hotel! The woman who ran in was so kind and friendly, I loved my stay here. I stayed here to hike a portion of the Nakasendo Way- Magome to Tsumago. It’s not close, you have to go to take like 2 or 3 transits to get there, I think it was like 2 hours to get there if I remember. It’s an old, traditional Japanese village- the buildings are really cool. There wasn’t much going on though while I was there, not many restaurants open. I ended up stocking up on food from 7/11 in Ena or Nakatsugawa I think it was to take back with me because there aren’t any stores like that in Iwamura that I found. You can get cash out from the ATM at the post office. This was a very peaceful place and a cool insight into a non-touristy area of Japanese life. Would definitely recommend this accommodation."

"A basic hotel with all the necessary amenities for daily use. Ideal for travelers taking the train to/from Ena Station before or after the Nakasendo Trail. The small town offers a pleasant stroll with a few hidden gems to discover. Good for a simple, convenient stay."
"This time, it was a trip planned by my wife and parents to commemorate the 30th anniversary of marriage & retirement.
I was happy to have something surprise because there was a column to fill in a special request.
At check-in, the front desk told me to take a commemorative photo at the time of meal, but the staff who called out to me instead of taking a photo by the professional and i was taking it with my smartphone.
I was honestly surprised that another staff member was going around the color 々 seat to take a picture.
So it was a pity that there was nothing in particular about the surprise."
"The location is quiet and easy to reach, and you can experience integration with nature. The hotel is clean and tidy and comfortable. During the day, you can walk to Baogu Lake, where you can carry out a number of activities. Very suitable for experiencing nature. Breakfast is not bad."
