"Classic hotel with retro fittings and good location to nearby ski resorts. Spacious room. Only setback is lack of meal availability. Dinner has to be reserved 1 day in advance, required to place the orders and paid fully at time of booking, even for shabu shabu. Go to nearby eateries and minimart to get food."
"I stayed here while on a motorcycle tour. It's located in the heart of Gujo Hachiman's old townscape, making it a great location for sightseeing and strolls. It's also close to the trailhead to Gujo Hachiman Castle, so you can reach it in no time.
You can dine at the attached restaurant in your yukata and slippers, so it's a very relaxing experience. The eel dishes were excellent, and I ate my fill.
There's also a large public bath, perfect for soothing your travel fatigue. (There's also a bath in the room.)"
"Ski in ski out. Room of good size. Buffet breakfast and dinner were pretty good with lots of variety to choose from. Public bath is spacious and never crowded. Though need to go next door (30m outdoor) for onsen and pay a small fee.
Ski pass discounts at Washigatake, WhitePia as well as Takasu Snow Park which is pretty decent.
Service as adequate but didn’t particularly understand why they won’t let us use the ski locker before check in when no one was using it."
"The hotel is located in the middle of the mountain, we are traveling by car, the hotel has open-air parking.
Quiet environment, relaxing. 1 parking 2 meals plan, food is delicious.
Although the hotel does not have a large bath, the bathtub in the room is large and it is very convenient to buy bath powder in the hotel store.
The room was clean, the space was large and comfortable. There was no land problem with the 2 26” suitcases.
The staff at the hotel were very polite and kind.
It only takes 2 minutes to drive from the hotel to the county of Shangbachi City (in fact, it is just up the mountain road), and it takes about15-20 minutes to walk. But it is worth a visit, you can enjoy the panoramic view of the county of Shangbachi City.
In summary, the overall accommodation experience is good and it is recommended to stay."
"The hotel staff is exceptionally courteous, and the room perfectly matches the description on their website—immaculately clean and comfortable. It's just a 5-minute walk to the ski resort, and the food is not only delicious but also diverse and freshly prepared for every meal. During our stay over Christmas, the hotel even crafted a special Christmas menu for us. I highly recommend this place and would definitely return if I decide to ski at Hirugano Kogen again."
"The nearest hotel to the ski resort, it only takes two or three minutes to get to the ski resort by the hotel's free shuttle bus. The hotel has free parking, and breakfast and dinner are provided by the hotel, and the variety and taste are good. It should be noted that the room only has a toilet, no bathroom! Bathing can only be done in the large bathhouse on the first floor, which Nanfang Tudou said he didn't quite understand. There are Chinese-speaking staff at the hotel front desk, who explain in detail and have a good attitude. There are discounts for ski resort cable cars at the front desk. One thing that needs to be praised is that when the restaurant staff was sweeping snow in the lobby, they saw us putting our luggage on the bus and took the initiative to help us put our luggage. The photos are photos of the ski resort."
"We had a wonderful stay in this Ryokan, located in the heart of Gujo. The hotel was excellent and the very comfortable room with tea available. The access to the bathroom is also very pleasant. We took a very nice and delicious breakfast .
The managers were careful, they borrowed parachutes and allowed us to leave our baggage on site for longer.
We recommend experience !"
