interesting balinese onsen ryokan. service was great, i couldn’t take raw food and my husband is allergic to prawns and they took notice for it and didn’t serve them during our half board meals (breakfast and dinner). the onsen water is certified to be natural and we could read the details of the certification from both the hotel reception and room toilet. the private in room open air onsen’s temperature can be adjusted as well. however the room’s shower’s door was not completely sealed and we found it very chilly to bathe even tho there was hot water supplied as the constant cold air from outside would come in. hope the hotel can take note of this and seal up the showering area’s door completely to prevent air from exchanging during shower. it’s a jap-balinese fusion hotel, pretty interesting concept. we drove during our trip around hakone area and be ready to navigate through very small and narrow roads while driving to this ryokan haha. really very narrow roads. hotel also requested for us to pass them the car key when we returned to the hotel, and to pass them the hotel key when we are heading out, which we found to be a little weird to be honest.

During the epidemic, I missed the beautiful scenery and blue sky of Hakone so much. I had been thinking about the hotel for three years, and finally booked a room three months in advance before the National Day trip. The hotel is rated 5 points because there is no 10-point option. There are mostly European and American guests in the hotel, and there is no barrier to English communication with the staff. It is a 3-minute walk from Gora Station, and within a 5-minute walk from the hotel, you can reach Gora Park and the Sculpture No Mori Museum of Art. But contact the hotel in advance, and the hotel will thoughtfully arrange a pick-up and drop-off. The hotel environment is impeccable and the design is full of design. It is worthy of being the work of a master, and it looks great every time you take a photo. The kaiseki dinner was just average, not particularly amazing. The only drawback is that the room we stayed in was on the first floor and there was a bit of an unpleasant smell from the shower drain at night.

The apartment is located about 10 minutes walk from Hakone Yumoto station. Check in instructions was easy. The rooms were big and comfortable. Kitchen was a useful size, only thing is the ports and pans were slightly dirty.

Good location and view of the lake, very close to the bus, ferry and cable car station. Very cozy and with well decorated design. Staff are very nice. Buffet dinner is perfect, very good sashimi bowl rice. Good onsen.

Didn’t try the public onsen. High quality souvenirs in the restaurant and lobby shop. Meals in the gorgeous historic Mitsui property Food and drinks Excellent traditional kaiseki dinner and breakfast in a private room in the historic Mitsui residence (aka restaurant Momiji). Built 1925 but still comfortable (ie floor heating) I was in Japan for three nights and while this was not a Michelin restaurant ( tried a few during this trip ), dinner here was my favorite and my comfort food. I kept on thinking about how food is functional medicine and this place hit the spot Prices. We stayed at the Hakone Hotel as part of a tour group. We had a spacious twin room with a view over the garden and part of Lake Ashi. The room spotlessly clean and was very comfortable. We had a comfortable chair and a comfortable 2 seater couch as well as comfortable beds. In the morning we had a beautiful clear view of Mt Fuji from the grounds of the hotel. We had a delicious included dinner at the hotel as well as a good buffet breakfast. There was a capsule coffee/tea maker in the room that I tried with Earl Grey Tea which was a bit strong for my taste.

This is probably one of the best and relaxed trip we ever had. Welcome service is fabulous and friendly.Ten-Yu had an amazing Onsen we enjoyed everyday several times which it switches everyday from 5th floor and 6floor daily. At night we had hot spring with an open outdoor hot spring with star and Mountain View.

On Friday, I had a break, so I hurriedly booked a plan for staying without meals. It is a mountain room in the pond building, within １ Person １ 10,000 yen. In the evening １７ I arrived at half past half, but the shops near Hakone Yumoto Station were almost closed. The correct answer was that I was procuring side dishes in the basement of the department store in Shinjuku. The convenience store was open. There are liquor stores and Lawson near the inn. The garden was an invisible room, but it was wide 々 and the scenery was good and I could see the mountains. The cleaning was well done. The futon is a style that you lay yourself, but I was grateful that you were prepared for a split, plate, and glass, probably because of the consideration for guests staying without meals. Coffee and tea were also set. It was good that the large communal bath and the bath in the room were both hot springs. The room was a unit bath, but I didn't really care. The next morning I took a walk in the large garden. I was able to relax. Hakone Yumoto is close to ８０ minutes from Shinjuku, and I think it is an affordable plan for train fares and accommodation plans for inns of this class. I want to go to stay again when I have time.

The hotel is very new, the rooms and services are very good. The breakfast and dinner are very rich. The private bath is also very quiet and private. The biggest surprise was when we were going down the mountain to Yumoto on the way back, the hotel staff uncle said that because of the hot weather, he would send us directly to Yumoto (not just to the bus stop near the hotel). He introduced us to the cherry blossoms in spring and the red leaves in autumn throughout the whole process, which directly aroused the desire of the family members to come again. At the end, when he said goodbye to us, he was also very friendly and enthusiastic, which made me, an I person, a little socially dead hahaha.
