"A good 5 mins walk away from the hustle and bustle of Imabari Station. That is a pro because the noise in hotel is less when you want quiet sleep.
I had a wonderful time here. Very clean and sanitary. Everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Netflix capable tv was a huge plus!
I will definitely stay again."
"The room was spacious and clean, so I was very satisfied. The bath in the building (additional charge) was also great. It's a bit disappointing that you can't use it if you have a tattoo. The bar on the top floor was also great. The breakfast was a buffet with a wide variety and was delicious."
"Excellent and affordable hotel to stay after cycling from Onomichi to Imabari. There is an onsen, breakfast included, massage chair for free and drinks from 15:00 to 21:00 . Highly recommend although the room are simple . Location is excellent, just across from the Imabari train station.
It is my second time there ."
"Booked a single room, there is a bed, to be honest, the room is small, but the price is there. The bathroom and toilet are shared, but the hygiene is no problem, very clean, there is a shared kitchen, there is a microwave oven to heat the lunch, and it is similar to at home. This time it was the cycling island Bohai Road, the hotel in the middle, the hotel was on the shrine of a shrine, and the hotel's integrated dining bar solved the breakfast and lunch problem very well."
"I've stayed at Route Inn hotels many times and have always been very satisfied. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, relatively large, and the hotel has a hot spring, which is very comfortable. There is also a parking lot for those who drive."
"Clean and relaxing. Was tempted to stay another night. Slightly confused on the etiquette of things (and others that were staying there were as well), but still a wonderful experience."
"It is a long established inn, and it is like a hot spring inn. It was full of Showa retro feeling, such as the cluttered corridors, wooden stairs railings, and tiled wash basins, but it was OK at all because it was a cheap night stay.
The bath is also shared 1 Every time two people enter, they lock it. The building is old, but the toilet was a washlet, and the hair dryer and pot in the room were new and clean. The walls are thin, but the guests around me seemed to be sensible, and I was able to spend quiet and comfortable at night. Imabari hand towels are also a nice service. Since it was an online reservation, I asked if I could issue a receipt, but I kindly asked him to issue it. The location is close to Imabari Port, but I walked about 10 minutes from Imabari Station in the shopping street."
"It is an old hotel, the overall equipment is very complete, the staff service is not bad, breakfast is next door Yoshinoya, the meal is rich, the taste is great, it is worth staying"
"Bon hôtel pour une nuit. Nous y avons dormi après avoir roulé à vélo depuis Onomichi et avant de repartir à vélo le lendemain pour faire la même route dans l'autre sens. L'hôtel est situé juste en face de la gare et des arrêts de bus, et il y a un konbini pas loin si besoin. "

GGuilhermeThe most affordable hotel through out my trip! It was extremely affordable, despite its great location, situated close to both the bus and train station (making it a perfect location after a long journey).
The staff is polite, the room is spacious enough and it offer all the amenities of more expensive hotel (like a public onsen and personal hygiene products).
Despite a limited variety of options of the breakfast buffet, the quality of the ingreadient and what was offered was excelent.
Well worth the price.
GGuest UserAlthough the location of the blunt river hot spring is slightly remote, the hot spring water quality is very good, moisturizing and tired, and it is very comfortable to soak.
The boss and the proprietress of Meiheden and other service staff are kind and welcoming, the hospitality is thoughtful, and it is very heartwarming. The dinner is rich and the chef is attentive. It is a very authentic hot spring cuisine and we have a great time.
The room also has a massage chair to eliminate the fatigue of travelers. I personally think that this old Japanese-style hot spring hotel is a good hotel worth recommending.
GGuest UserThe building is old, but the accommodation was lovely and well-maintained.
The view from the room was also great.
Above all, the food was excellent.
For dinner we had fish sashimi, simmered fish, tempura, and vinegared dishes.
The simmered fish was delicious. It was called ”ako,” and apparently it's a luxury fish at the market.
It was fresh, with really firm flesh, and was great.
The facilities are old, and since it's basically a guesthouse, there are shared baths, toilets, and sinks.
If you can accept that, it's a great place to stay.
The landlady (?) was also friendly and nice.
I used it on a bicycle trip, and I think I'd go again.
I'll upload a picture of the view from my room.
