"Very traditional room, the scenery is very beautiful, looking at the red bridge outside the window
Dandan noodles are available for supper, very delicious"
"I stayed with my child during the summer vacation. Check-in at the front desk was also smooth. The private open-air bath was a great reward. There is also a 2-hour frame. I entered and exchanged with my daughter, and I lay in a chair and the wind came in comfortably and fell asleep. The futon was also fluffy. It was a pity that the dressing area was small and hot in the large communal bath."
"Service was very good. But hotel is old and not as clean as picture shows. But many many antiques in the lobby area.. .the carpeted area in the room needs to change. It feels dusty and like not vacuumed. The futons were ready ,rolled up at the side of the room. We jus unrolled them at bedtime. They have the smallest pillow I've seen after staying in hundreds of ryokans across Japan..
Their dinner is the best I've had . Very full meal. Lobster included and very delicious.
Breakfast was simple and good. With the important seasonal food . Meals in this ryokan is worth bragging about. Hotel can be better if some renovation is done to the soiled carpets and a good cleanup of the rooms..
Advantage of being able to leave car at the car park lot and walk 3mins to the nearby riverside garden..
The elderly couple running the ryokan were very friendly and helpful. Very kind people."
"It was a stable route in.
It was nice that the breakfast menu was also posted in front of the elevator. There is also a bath at this price and breakfast is included. Every time I have consecutive holidays, I use route inns here and there with peace of mind."
"Undoubtedly one of the best hostels I stayed so far. I went off-season, so there is not much travellers around. But the place is cozy enough to keep you occupied. There are workdesks and also books and manga.
The location is near the sawara boat tour so you can just line up without reservation. The place itself also holds seasonal events like workshop and gatherings. Best to check out their website and you can time your visit during those periods."
"The hotel is right next to Sawara Station, which is very convenient; but we drove there and the parking lot is free, which is really good! The buffet breakfast is very rich, and the hotel adopts a diversion form for guests to enjoy breakfast, which is very thoughtful! The staff is very friendly! The hotel also has hot springs. Although it is not a natural hot spring, it is very comfortable for tourists to soak in the bath! It is only 35 minutes away from Narita Airport, so it is a highly recommended hotel for going to the airport."
