"Toyoko Inn Iwakuni is centrally located in Iwakuni. Exterior is very easy to recognise due to its iconic paintwork. It’s a new hotel so amenities and room feels very good. Bed is also comfortable. It was easy to get a good night rest. Highly recommended."
"Saw a few bad reviews online and was a bit worried. Our experience wasn’t so bad in general. There were towels and shower gel etc in the room. Bathroom is a bit small but manageable. We had to go to reception to buy washing powder for laundry though, then had to go again to change coins, which was quite inconvenient."
"Hotel staff is soo kind and friendly. They servesing breakfast and free coffee. Hotel room is 9/10 clean everything is good. And quit nice place near by convenience store."
"It is located between Iwakuni Kintaikyo Airport and Iwakuni Station, and is easily accessible by car. This was my first time staying in a container. There was very little footsteps or noise around, so I was able to get a good night's sleep."
"The hotel is about 30 minutes away from Miyajima, so I booked a hotel in Iwakuni instead of Miyajima to save money and see Kintai Bridge.
Iwakuni Castle and Kintai Bridge are near the hotel, and I could see Kintai Bridge from my room, which was nice.
There is a large bath and an open-air bath inside the hotel, so I think there are many things to enjoy. You can see Kintai Bridge and Iwakuni Castle from the open-air bath.
Actually, there is not much to see, but I think the large bath alone is worth going.
I originally booked a room with a mountain view, but I was given a room with a view of Kintai Bridge, which was even better.
The staff are all friendly, so even if you don't speak Japanese, they will slowly teach you."
"It was conveniently located just a short walk from Iwakuni Station.
There was a convenience store right in front of the hotel, so it was convenient!
It was nice to be able to walk home from the drinking district.
However, when you open the window you can see the wall of the neighboring building (lol).
It doesn't bother me at all, but if you don't like it, please be careful.
(It may depend on the location of the room)"
"It was a convenient location and easy to find. It was perfect room size for one person. Staff was nice!"
