I recently had the delight of staying at Izu Marriott, and I must say, it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the stunning location of the hotel. Nestled in the picturesque town of Izu, the hotel is surrounded by stunning natural beauty. The hotel itself is equally impressive. It is well-designed and beautifully decorated, creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. What really stood out to me, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff at Izu Marriott. They were incredibly polite and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure that I had a memorable stay. Whether I needed recommendations for local attractions or assistance with my room, the staff was always available and eager to help. Especially thank Roshan and the front desk team, who provide exceptional service to us.
This is a Ryokan which has a very good reputation. For me, the stay is perfect and I will recommend this Ryokan. Even though you cannot value the location of the Ryokan, as Shuzenji is a very small place. The Rokan is right opposite to the bamboo forest, which is suitable for my personal view. However, you need to notice as it is close to the bamboo forest and near to the river, you will find many bugs here, especially at night. Don't forget to close the windows and doors. When you first arrive at the Ryokan, don't forget to take a photo of the board at the door as you can find your name on it. If you have a name that can be written in Kanji, you can even email them to let them write in Kanji. The Ryokan itself is large but the staff are very nice and friendly. They will introduce the whole Ryokan to you when you arrive and lead you to the most places so that you can find out the several Onsens and amenities' locations. I will recommend you to discover the Ryokan when you are free. The Ryokan even provides guided tours as most of the buildings here are cultural heritage. Moreover, the Ryokan will even provide umbrellas, so no worries when it rains. The English of Ryokan staff is not ideal, as you might be able to guess. If you can speak Japanese, I will recommend you to use Japanese. The food quality is very good and they will sometimes provide some very interesting dishes. For example, the lobster shell tempura, which shocked me at first but tasted not bad. I have mentioned Onsen before but there are a few more you might need to know. Since the hotel has a long history, you might need to take a shower in your room first then go to the Onsen in different places as there are no shower places in Onsen like other Ryokan. However, the onsen is very good so I will recommend you try as many as you can. Overall, the Rokan is expensive but absolutely worthy. I will recommend you to try it when you are free.

The location is slightly biased, so there may be fewer foreign guests in the hotel, mainly locals. The view of the room is a selling point. It faces the sea from Mt. Fuji. The open air is very comfortable and the room is very comfortable. There are not many places to stroll around and it is not convenient to not drive. The hotel's food is very good, it is a combination of Japanese and French, and the display is very beautiful. The service attitude is very good, that is, the overall English level is slightly poor, and the communication is slightly difficult.

Very Good
: This is a beautiful traditional riverside Ryokan. Our room, very pretty, had a balcony which opened directly onto the famous Katsura bridge. The welcome was good and the (traditional) breakfast truly exceptional. The onsen was definitely the hottest we tried in Japan but quite pleasant. Everything is close.
At the end of the fall of 2009, when the 5 waves of corona decreased sharply, it was a long time since I've been on a hot spring trip. The nearby vineyards and wineries were a special mention. A plateau that seems to be a villa area. Shuttle bus use, Mt. Fuji view, welcome bottle with 20th anniversary tag. Enjoy hot springs, saunas, wine, tennis and karaoke. The hot springs are almost uncrowded. Free tour of the chateau with a tasting. You can also see the vintage wine cellar owned by the owner. All-you-can-drink wine is the first time, but you can't drink so much with a meal in 90 minutes. We were open with hygiene in mind. I heard that bringing a racket is good for tennis, so I brought it in, and the free rental ball is new. The 4 omni sand-filled courts are a little run down, and I would like to see more maintenance. Thief Hagi stuck to the fence. There is even a baseball field and a soccer field, and it is suitable for training camps with unique facilities that you won't find anywhere else. It seems that there was an outdoor swimsuit zone, but I forgot to bring it. Karaoke is a little lacking in soundproofing in the next room. It seems that yukata slippers are allowed in the hotel, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed (not business first), and I like the difference from chain hotels.
Ssmall jessThe service attitude of the staff is very good. The buffet is served in the morning and evening. The long-leg crab is delicious before 7 o'clock in the dinner. The fish sashimi is very fresh and the other food is also very good. The rooms are clean and big enough.

Izu Peninsula
迷迷尼哈哈文成公主Super love the scenery, quietness and hot springs of the Izu Peninsula, and of course the restaurant with a pure Japanese menu, despite some wolves, super exciting; look forward to a visit in three weeks.
Toi Gold Mine
VvivienvivienThe earth fat Jinshan is located in Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. It was the second largest gold mine in Japan after Sado Jinshan in the 14th century. The most attractive here is not the gold mine itself, but the world's largest big gold brick!! What's more exciting is that the brick isn't protected layer by layer - so you can touch it yourself and get rich.
Lover’s Cape
DDEAR张小球I chartered a car with a new friend from Tongsu. The scenery along the way is very beautiful, and the weather is super good to add points to the attractions. The blue sky and white clouds are endless and the sea is very spectacular.
Jōren Falls
爱爱爱李The waterfall is a large area, and the waterfalls here are very nice. You can come here to visit and experience them. The waterfalls have plenty of water, and the surrounding vegetation also feels very cat-friendly.
Shuzenji Nature Park
MMiss ThaiI took a walk for about an hour and it was a good exercise. It's a pleasant park. The parking lot was 100 yen for a motorcycle.
Bamboo Forest Path
旅旅を楽しみTIMEThe bamboo and the sky to lie down are the best balance. If the weather is nice, the bamboo will shine yellow and it will be nice.
Toi Shrine
KKIMJUNYIUN1993This shrine is built next to the earth fat Jinshan, which is particularly commemorative for the locals. It is rumored to mark the wealth brought by earth fat Jinshan to the locals, and many people will come to worship it.
