"A new hotel with excellent location. It’s just next to the shopping streets with lots of restaurants & souvenir shops. Got amenities such as bath salt, tea bags, drip coffee & cleansing oil/ lotion at hotel lobby for you to pick up. The restaurant where you take breakfast commands a stunning panoramic view. Will stay here again."

"The hotel was located a 2 minute walk from the airport bus stop. It was also close to tram stops and a don quijote across the road. The room was a little small but we managed to make space for 2 large suitcases by moving things around. There is also a massage chair in the room which was a random nice touch. I really recommend the breakfast as there was an all fish option which is great if you're muslim and only eat halal. It gave us the opportunity to try something traditional that I would not have been able to before. Freshly made bonito flakes too! The hotel also has a luggage disposal service as my suitcase broke on the way there, it costed 3300 yen. It was a convenient, clean and safe stay :)"

"The hotel is located in the same building as Kagoshima-Chuo Station, with its entrance on the north side of the JR station's west exit. We stayed in a standard room in the North Wing and a deluxe room in the South Wing. The standard room in the North Wing was very dirty, and the bathroom had a strong odor. The next day, we switched to a deluxe twin room in the South Wing, which was much better. Breakfast on B1 of the South Wing is Western style, which we didn't try. Breakfast on B1 of the North Wing is Japanese style, and it was quite plentiful, with the chicken soup rice and shabu-shabu black pork being very good. However, the menu didn't change at all over our three-day stay. Taking the elevator down to the first floor from the South Wing and exiting to the Yamakataya fresh food market on the west side of the JR station, you can buy very fresh sushi and sashimi – a real feast!"

"First of all, thank you very much for assigning me a room with a great view. You can see the Sakurajima volcano. The first thing I do when I wake up every day is to look out the window at the volcano. It is very unforgettable. The room is a little small but comfortable. The location is super good and it is convenient to go everywhere. After walking for fifteen minutes, we arrived at the Chengshan Observatory. The staff is very friendly."

"It was morning when we arrived at the hotel, and it was not time to check in yet. The front desk helped us to store our luggage. It was raining heavily in Kagoshima that day. After storing our luggage, we planned to take the Shinkansen to Tosu Outlets for shopping. The most touching thing was that the front desk took the initiative to hand us an umbrella. After checking in in the afternoon, we found that the room could easily open two 28 suitcases, which was a pleasant surprise. In short, it was a very good experience."

"What a surprisingly wonderful old ryokan! Operating for a century, its interior boasts a rich Showa-era charm. It definitely feels historic but is spotlessly clean. The true highlight was breakfast, which unexpectedly featured pork shabu-shabu. The broth was made with genuine, high-quality ingredients, and the yuzu kosho was locally sourced. Paired with the black pork, it was absolutely delicious! 😋"

"It was very easy to get to from the train station using the tram. The room was as advertised and the bathroom was little but very functional, it's always fun to see how well they use the space in Japan! It is very close to the terminal passenger ferry as well. We stayed 2 nights !"

"It's very clean, and the bedding and toiletries are brand new. On the first floor, the lobby offers a variety of DHC cleansers, toners, and makeup removers, so if you're not too picky, you don't even need to bring any toiletries. It's right next to the Tenmonkan shopping district, which is very convenient, and the 'Woa Ren' restaurant there is delicious. I'll definitely go back again; I really enjoyed the food in Kagoshima, and if I return, I'll stay at this hotel again."

"I loved staying here!! It had such a great communal vibe to it. One of my favorite memories from traveling Japan is sitting at the low tables in the common area, eating a convenience store dinner and watching baseball on the tv. I was only there 3 nights but it felt like it would’ve been an easy place to settle into for a longer stay. There was a fridge and kitchen, two showers & toilets, laundry, luggage storage, lockers, etc. Very close to the train station. Rooms were clean, I felt like the staff did a great job on the upkeep. I would definitely recommend you stay here. The only thing to be aware of is that the mattresses are really thin so the sleeping surface feels really hard."
