"A short stay in Kamakura while passing through.
Location: Very close to Kamakura JR station, a 5-minute walk. However, the closest convenience store is also there, so it might be a hassle if you check in late at night and haven't eaten yet.
Facilities: I specifically booked bunk beds, and the bedding was fine. But there was a strange, very tall platform in the room, like a bed or a sofa, and it wasn't clean. The hotel has a large hot tub, but no sauna. Milk is 200 JPY, which is decent.
Cleanliness: This was a deal-breaker for me. What was that sticky, glue-like substance on the toilet seat? Disgusting...
To sum it up, it's not great value for money, but okay if you're just passing through for a night."
"The room facilities were definitely a bit dated. Rooms are situated on lower floors, the highest being around the second floor. You can see Mount Fuji from the room, though unfortunately, I visited in September so it wasn't snow-capped. If you're planning a visit, I'd suggest checking Xiaohongshu for a shortcut through the wedding shop area; otherwise, dragging your luggage up the hill can be quite exhausting. At 1800 a night, you're definitely paying for the scenic view. The hotel's restaurant recommendations were all excellent. For dinner, we tried Coral Reef, and their curry rice was incredibly delicious. The next morning, we had breakfast at Bills – eating by the sea was wonderfully relaxing."
"Extremely satisfied with our Kamakura hotel booking! We were torn between two options, but since we were traveling with a child, we opted for this one due to its more convenient location. The lobby's aesthetic, coupled with the lush greenery in the atrium, created a wonderfully peaceful (落ち着く) atmosphere. Our room was also spacious and very clean, especially the bathroom, which had a great wet/dry separation and a makeup mirror – I absolutely loved it. There's a convenience store right next door, a drugstore across the street, and the hotel itself has a cafe. Plus, just a short walk away, there's a Michelin-starred ramen place and a delicious tempura restaurant. The more I write about it, the more I want to go back!"
"A 10-minute walk from the subway station, with various restaurants conveniently located nearby.
This is an excellent building that makes effective use of its steel frame structure and features superb landscape design. It would be a particularly meaningful stay for architects.
The breakfast area is designed like a charming cafe, making everything served there seem delicious.
I spent my time reading and gazing at the rainy courtyard until check-out.
I was very pleased by the kindness of the female staff member who spoke Korean.
While both the room's size and comfort were excellent, there was no charger provided, and I hope the quality of the toothbrushes can be improved.
One morning, despite the rain, I opened the window and enjoyed the delightful birdsong for a long while. It was a relief that the windows here were easy to open and close, unlike in many Japanese accommodations.
As I personally loved Kamakura City, if I ever return, I'd love to experience both a traditional guesthouse and spend my last night here to enjoy the morning before departing."
"The hotel boasts an excellent location. Both Kamakura High School Mae and Enoshima are within easy walking distance, and it's also very close to the Enoden train station. If you're looking for an authentic Japanese tatami-style accommodation experience, this hotel definitely won't disappoint. The only minor drawback is that you might have to wait for the shared bathroom during peak bathing hours in the evening, unless you shower very early or very late. Koshigoe Shrine, located a short distance from the hotel, is very quiet and offers lovely views. Moreover, the hotel owner is incredibly hospitable, and I'd like to express my sincere thanks to her once again."
"Enjoyed this hostel a lot! A had a separate room, stayed only for one night to explore Kamakura. I had everything needed in the room, the staff was very friendly, and the room was clean. It’s 10 minutes from the station, 20 minutes from the bay. The price is perfect for such location, I would choose this hostel again if I come to Kamakura."
"The location is great, but check-in was a huge hassle. They advertise it as self-check-in, but the process was so convoluted that I still had to call the front desk for a password. This involved a lot of back-and-forth communication in broken English. Honestly, they might as well just have a proper front desk!"

"We booked a triple room, and we were pleasantly surprised the moment we opened the door. There were three single beds! Free hot spring bathing, free light meals, free bar, and set breakfast. The pancakes made by the restaurant chef in front of us were delicious 😋. You can choose the set meal, appetizers, soups, drinks, staple food, desserts, etc., all of which are delicious. The service is also very good. I must give it a five-star rating 👍"
"The hotel is conveniently located directly across from the South Exit of JR Ofuna Station, about a 2-minute walk. It's super easy to get to Enoshima from here as Ofuna is the starting station for the Shonan Monorail. They offer breakfast, though the selection is a bit limited – enough to fill you up, but not much more. You'll find drugstores and convenience stores nearby, which is very handy. JR Ofuna Station also has a Starbucks and is connected to a shopping mall with a Uniqlo on the 5th floor and MUJI on the 6th, so it’s easy to pick up daily essentials. There are plenty of dining options in the area, from Japanese to Western cuisine. The hotel also has a laundry room on the 2nd floor, costing 500 yen for wash and dry. The staff, both at the front desk and housekeeping, are incredibly polite."
"A very nice guesthouse. Each person gets a small, clean, and comfortable room. The owner, Ah Mao, is South Korean and has lived in Japan for seven years. He speaks Korean, Japanese, English, and a little Cantonese and Mandarin. Ah Mao is very nice; we can chat and eat together on the sofa downstairs in the evenings. He shares food and we play together. There's a small garden on the balcony where you can smoke. I stayed here for two out of my three days in Kamakura and thoroughly enjoyed myself. We even had a BBQ at the guesthouse on my last night. Very nice."

GGuest UserI really like the location that Yuigahama is close. It's just the right size to spend alone, and the amenities are fashionable and substantial. It's nice to be able to drink coffee on the water server. Unfortunately, the bathtub and the washroom are not separate, and when I come to such a place, I still want to relax in the bath, and it is very very disappointing that the bathtub cannot be filled with hot water. I wish I had a public bath nearby. After that, towels and bed sheets were a little damp. As with us, when drying with a drum dryer, it seems to have been dry at that time, but it is not dry enough, and I think it is better to extend the drying time a little more.
GGuest UserThe room is consistent with the picture, very warm, the bedroom has a small balcony, there is a separate living room and kitchen area, the bathtub, washing, bathroom are separated, and the space for two people is enough. Self-check-in and check-out, a few minutes walk from Jiangzhi Electric Yaoyue Station and Jiangzhidao Station. It is recommended to get off at Jiangzhi Island. There are many foods around and there are two large supermarkets. There is a temple nearby, and the tram at the entrance of the temple is very popular. If you don't receive the room door password, you can call the landlord at the door. The landlord's attitude is very nice. Recommended stay.
ええんどうきEverything was clean and I had a comfortable stay!
They didn't use cheap shampoos or anything, so my hair didn't get all stiff!
The desk felt high compared to the height of the sofa, so it would have been better if it was lower.
Also, check-out was at 10am, and the intercom rang 5 or 10 minutes before. When I opened the door, a cleaning man was standing there, and he told me how many minutes left until check-out. I felt a bit pressured at that time, but other than that I thought it was a great place! I'd like to use it again!
XXIAOJUNReally close to the beach, people who like the beach recommend it. The cipher box with the key is not easy to open. I have been tinkering for a long time. At first, I was afraid of breaking it and mixed it carefully. In the end, I found that I had to stir it hard to open it. I don’t know if the bedroom light in the room is broken or it needs special control.
GGuest UserThe first time I looked at the name, I thought it was Shangri-La, but it was not. We booked it on the last min, so it doesn't matter how much, and some can live. After you arrive, you will find a bit like a guest house, on the third floor. The room meets the basic accommodation requirements, small, but there are some, and clean. Other additional requirements are not demanding, the ~ is just living, we did not want breakfast, anyway, there is no lobby. . About 10 minutes away from the train station, very close to the Shengong, the Shengong Trail in the middle, very hazy. If you like to walk, in fact, get up in the morning and walk to Huguo Temple, the beach, you can walk
YYingNJThe accommodation is located by the sea, beautiful view, clean bathroom, walking around should be very good. There is underground parking. You should check the weather forecast.
AAmmmmmberrrRoom view is same as photo show, is traditional homestay so didn’t have private toilet. The way to washroom and bathroom will have warmer but after bath will be very cold in winter. Is super nearby to Kailua station and opposite is one of the famous spot, Komachi St.
