Very good place to stay!
Beautiful and comfortable rooms.
The hotel is very comfortable and it doesn't create any problems.
Our only criticism is breakfast, perhaps they could make it a little more.
A clean and comfortable hotel, except that the hotel is inconspicuous, it is perfect. The hotel is 15 minutes from the JR station, so it is very convenient to push luggage. Opposite the hotel is the Omi Town Market, which offers a wide range of food and shopping. It is also not far from Kanazawa Castle and other attractions on foot. The location is definitely a quiet yet prosperous place, so you can enjoy the tranquility of Kanazawa while being convenient. The interior of the hotel is very stylish. You can soak in the hot springs to relieve the fatigue of the day. The breakfast is very rich and the room space is sufficient. I will definitely stay here again next time I go to Kanazawa.
Hyatt Centric Kanazawa located next to Kanazawa Train station. Very suitable and convenient for tourists especially those who travel from Tokyo and Osaka by Sinkabsen.
Beside Hyatt Centric there are various shopping malls such as Cross Gate and Rinto. There are many eateries in the malls and nearby convenient stores such as 7 Eleven and Lawson make the hotel very convenient.
Not far way from the hotel (about 2-3Km), there is a Fish Market, Omicho Market. Fresh seafoods are available, nice with reasonable price.
The hotel has very soothing environment which blends well with natural wood color. Overall is a very good stay.

I went to Kanazawa for 10 years at work, and this time I tried to stay for the first time for one night of the regular inn. It was a good location standing in front of the station, and it was a good hotel? As a point that I personally worried about, the * parking lot is too dark. * There is no loan of air cleaner. (now any hotel) * The room is cold even if you adjust the air conditioning. * Anyway, the sound of the corridor is noisy and can be heard inside the room. (footsteps, voices) * wifi is difficult to connect. * The desk is small to open a personal computer and work. It was the part I felt. Also, why is the front desk arranged like this? It was so wide that I thought, and the staff was wasting time, and it took time to find documents to sign whether they were not ready in advance. It's too large and round, so I felt that it would be better if I could see a lot of personal information and take a little more shelf or box or something to show it clean. I didn't think it would be possible to stay at the regular inn, but I think I can stay someday.
Fantastic hotel with spacious rooms and very friendly staff. We chose Nikko Kanazawa because of its proximity to the train station. Hotel Nikko is actually Kanazawa’s tallest building, designed by a Japanese-French team. Rooms located on 21st-25th floors have beautiful views. Nikko is connected to the Higashi ( eastern) side of the station by the underground passageway through the Porter building. Our room at the 21st floor was large, clean and modern with a fantastic view over the city towards the Sea of Japan. It was very relaxing at the end of the day to sit in arm chairs and watch the sunset. Service was excellent. We found a good restaurant on the sixth floor of the Forus shopping center adjacent to the train station (on the right if you look at the eastern entrance to the station through the giant Torii gate). The name is Morimorizushi Kanazawa Ekimae-ten (sushi), you can't miss it - there will be people on the benches waiting outside. The line goes fast, just don't forget to take your ticket at the entrance. This hi-tech kaiten (conveyor belt) sushi joint is a fantastic place for excellent sushi at reasonable price. It is only 4-5 min. from Hotel Nikko and on rainy day you can reach it by the underground passage. We liked Hotel Nikko and would stay here again.
Location: very conveniently located right besides the bus stop for buses back and forth from Kanazawa station as well as other major touristy spots. But even walking wise everything including Kenrokuen garden, Kanazawa castle, the famous districts & also just 2-3 min walk to Omiya shrine
Hotel & Room standard: Elegantly classy and very contemporary rooms. Size was also pretty good and comfortable enough for 2 people for standard room. Room amenities are also very good and the Public bath at top also looks quite fancy.
Staff service: Was very very impressed with the staff service. I think everyone spoke & understood basic English to assist with any questions. Furthermore they even have great personalised hotel brochures for restaurants and spots nearby the hotel and what cuisine each offered which I found very helpful.
Overall an easy 5/5 stay
Location: Hotel is located in a walking distance from Kanazawa Station. Very quiet area with a vending machines downstairs and in the hotel itself. No close proximity of 7/11 or Family Mart. Huge rooms for Japanese standards, clean and quiet. Perfect hiding spot and still close to city center Lobby area: No real lobby area - self check in in the machine. Quick and painless Rooms: Room was located on the 3rd floor, it was family suit with a kitchen space and 2 joined bedrooms (in total 4 beds) It was clean and very spacious. Kid was sleeping on the separate bed next to us. We had 4 single beds, but very good size and quality of sleep. It was clean when we arrived and you need to maintain that level when you check out. We did not use a kitchen as its close to the Kanazawa Station with plenty of food options. The wifi was amazing and super-fast free of charge in the entire hotel. Elevators: small one for 2ppl Restaurant: Hotel has no restaurant Pool area: There is no pool in this hotel Staff: no staff Overall: I would definitely recommend to everyone. Great location, close to the Kanazawa Station (train and busses)
It is Toyoko Inn, located in the downtown area of Kanazawa Ichi, Korinbo. We stayed 2 as a base for Kanazawa sightseeing. The day we arrived was before check-in time, so we left our luggage and headed for sightseeing. Nagamachi, Kanazawa Jo castle, and 21 Century Museum of art and kanrokuen are within walking distance. Of course, restaurants are also available around the area. 2 On the day, I went sightseeing in the morning and rested at the hotel as it was. After that, I was able to use the bus from front of the hotel to go to Kanazawa Station and so on. It is not a luxury hotel because it is Toyoko Inn. It is a good location to use it as a base for sightseeing. The friendly response of the staff was good.
I am very pleased with their accommodating and very trustworthy front desk personnel. They really assist you with all your needs and answers all your queries even beyond hotel matters. With regards, to the location, this is very accessible to Kanazawa station which is around 15 minutes walk. Talking about the capsule hotel itself, it is very cozy at affordable price. Hotel is very modern. They provide towels and bathrobes on your daily stay. I really really love this capsule hotel. You should consider this when you plan to go in Kanazawa or nearby places.
This is a reasonably priced hotel within walking distance from the Kanazawa station. The facility is quite new, and very well kept up, although the check-in area doesn’t give the greatest first impression. Security is good, with keycard access to the rooms, although no overnight coverage at the front desk. Room size (we had the family suite) was good, although the multiple beds took up most the room – good for big families. Bed was somewhat soft for our tastes, but we slept well. Bathroom and toilet are separate, a nice feature. Very nice shower with great water pressure. Staff communication good, and front desk personnel spoke excellent English. Our suite faced the railway tracks adjacent to the building, but the windows blocked most, but not all the noise from the trains; the residual noise was not enough to bother us, or affect our sleep. Unit was clean and well maintained – no squeaky doors or sink stoppers that didn’t work. Clothes storage is non-existent; only a limited number of hangers available. Lighting in the unit was excellent, and reading at night was easy. Large screen TV, with Netflix programming available without a membership – nice touch for those who don’t have a subscription, particularly since there’s no English TV channels that we could find. Ductless air conditioning worked quietly and effectively. Kitchen well equipped, but little room for eating. We didn’t use the washing machine, so can’t comment. The continental breakfast (called “Bread”) was actually quite good, although limited in scope. Excellent coffee – Illy machine that makes several kinds of coffee. We particularly appreciated the free ride back to the station. Overall, a very good value hotel, and we’d be happy to return.

AallyplI’m here now and want to write about my experience as it’s happening. I’m blown away at this property. The beauty, the people, the quiet…except for the waterfall which you hear if you’re outside. I have a balcony room. The AC is splendid! There’s a tub inside the large shower area. The shower water is a little weaker than I normally care for, but YMMV. Breakfast is a huge buffet with very nice options, all Japanese and all high quality. Both mornings, I’ve been served an amuse. Tonight I’ll try dinner for the first time here, and no doubt it’ll be delicious. If you opt out of housekeeping, they leave you a big bag of two each large towels, hand towels and bath towels. Housekeeping is as quiet as a church mouse. I arrived at the Kanazawa train station, and even though I knew that there would be a shuttle bus, and which side to exit from, I didn’t know which one was mine. This information is not on the website, so I’ll tell you that you exit on the west side, and upon exiting, turn to the right, where the group bus waiting area is. And watch for a bus that is white with an orange *****e on the front. One other word of caution. There are two hotels that are named the same. Just because you see the hotel name on the outside, that may not be yours. Do you want to be sure that the driver and the accompanying guide know that the one you want is on this particular street. It’s a really new hotel, as it’s only been open for about a year. I upgraded and got the lounge access and that’s been totally worth it! The afternoon suites are so stunningly gorgeous and there’s a cocktail hour also in the afternoon, but I think it’s really like three or four hours long. The staff speaks their English, but have your Google translate ready for words that they may not automatically know. However, I will say they are extremely eager to understand and please you. I highly recommend this hotel!!
GGuest UserMy family (2 kids) stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and really enjoyed the city as well as the hotel. I will start with the positives. We stayed at a one bedroom suite with laundry machines which is very convenient and by far the largest hotel room we stayed in Japan. Our kids slept comfortably in the living room on the sofa. The kitchen is very well designed with a huge fridge and sitting areas. The front desk was very helpful in my trip planning with onsen suggestions and they also booked us kimono rental and restaurants after we checked in. The lobby is spacious and we enjoyed our complimentary breakfast. The location is very conveient being right by the JR station and a big shopping mall. I only have 2 minor issues. First, they weren't willing to make us dinner reservations before check in which seems to be an overal issue with Japan hotels. Second, the breakfast offering is way better at Hyatt Centric, the sister hotel next door and is connected at the lobby area. however, we were turned away when we tried to get breakfast at Hyatt Centric even though some prior reviews said they wre able to do that.
GGuest UserThere are 3 good points. 1st, the location is very good, as it was walking distance from/to most of the places I wanted to visit. It's about a ~10min walk from Kanazawa Station, so no hassle getting to the hotel when you arrive. It's about ~10-15min walk to Kanazawa Castle (金沢城) and Kenrokuen (兼六園). The Omicho Market (近江町市場) is literally right across the street, so you can easily hop over there to either start or end your day with some sushi. For the more distant places, there are nearby bus stops to get to areas like the Higashi Chaya district (ひがし茶屋街) or the museums. (Though if you prefer walking, Higashi Chaya district is still walkable at about ~15-20mins). 2nd, the room was quite spacious for a solo traveler, as compared to the typical business hotel. It has a unit-type toilet+bathroom, but it was spacious enough that you can change in there (I think it can even fit 2 people at once). The room was very clean and tidy, and since all rooms are non-smoking, the place doesn't smell funny. The room provides complete amenities like the hot water kettle, a ref, and enough sockets for charging your gear. 3rd, the breakfast buffet was delicious. The selection of both western and local japanese dishes made it worth its price. There is unlimited coffee too, which is available even outside the buffet (great for people who can't go throughout the day without coffee). The staff speaks English well, so no worries if your Japanese skills aren't that great like me. All in all, would gladly stay here again if I find myself in Kanazawa :)
MMamaJBooked two rooms. It has a Japanese-style room feel
Children have to pay an additional 3,000 yen to stay, which is very suitable for plus
There are relatively few bathrooms, but the water temperature is very good
The hotel has hot springs, open-air hot springs, saunas.
There is free ice cream to eat in the hot spring
Breakfast is very rich, children like salmon caviar, you can add unlimited 😂 There is instant fried tempura, but also the coffee machine has matcha latte.
The hotel has access to lift parking voxy seven-seater can enter
You can walk to Kanazawa Omicho Market, very close.
GGuest UserRoom was spacious for three with each person a single bed, very comfortable, very classic and elegant furnishing, bathroom and toilet was separated. Staffs were helpful and friendly and they can understand simple English. Good location and very close from the Kanazawa station with lots of eateries and convenience stores around. Breakfast was very nice with a lot of choices and tastes good! Would highly recommend this place and I would also like to go back here again during my next visit.
EElisia LohHotel is conveniently located on the east gate of Kanazawa station, with nearby shopping malls (opp Forus shopping mall), and lots of restaurants.
Hotel is more like business hotel setup, furnishes is dated but clean. The only downside which we don’t like is the bedside lamp is fixed very near to the bed, am very afraid will bang onto them when sleeping too near.
Kanazawa is very tourist oriented, there is a tourist loop bus which you can purchase for the day which is about 800yen per adult unlimited rides on this loop bus (otherwise per trip is about 210 yen), you can purchase the ticket from the East gate bus information counter, and bus boarding at bay no 7. This tourist loop bus passes the tourist spots like the Chaya district, Kanazawa Castle Park / Kenrokuen (same bus stop), Omicho market (which is about 15 min walk from Kanazawa station).
5505BoontiongMy stay at Dormy Inn Kanazawa was almost the end of the vacation started from Nagano, Hakuba, Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, Kurobe Gorge. Believe me that staying at this hotel is money worth spent. Dormy Inn usually are near train station but away from noisy traffic, with nice indoor and outdoor Onsen at rooftop together with FREE Soba for supper (9.30-11pm). However, at Kanazawa only (maybe) they provide complimentary Happy Hour from 7-9pm with free flow of red & white wine, beer and party nut and cracker mix. So you probably want to stay until 9.30pm to continue with Free Soba Supper. Sounds good right? Rooms are very clean, staff are friendly. One thing I like about Dormy Inn is they have ice cube for free at the machine. So you can get cheap and nice sake or beer from stores nearby to fix your own drink. Another plus point is free usage of laundry machine and detergent. You only pay for the dryer. I highly recommend Dormy Inn to everyone visiting Japan.
TTravel813637I used it with my family for sightseeing in Kanazawa. It is close to Kanazawa Station and has a parking lot. The interior is beautiful in a new hotel. The unit bath is also very large. However, dust was conspicuous around the air conditioner and in the nanoe blowout. I want you to clean this area a little more. The air conditioner was a little bad, probably because the filter was also clogged. The staff 々 is very kind and comfortable. There was a deck where you could see the Shinkansen and conventional lines, and the children were happy. Breakfast is delicious, but the child who sleeps with the child does not have breakfast, so it is okay to pay, so I think it would have been nice if there was a little rice for children. I still want to use it.
BBayjbBlue Hour is a nice, comfortable modern hostel about a 5 minute walk from the train station. Honestly it had some of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept on in Japan and my larger trip. The beds are pods too with a privacy curtain, light and mirror inside. The privacy you get is so nice. The female dorm also has a small seating area just for its guests and a small fridge for breakfast. The female dorm is also key code locked and has its own bathroom. The small grocery store in the building is a great feature too. I was here in summer and have a few items to be aware of: - There is Air Con in the dorms but it doesn’t get in to the bed pods so those can be toasty - The air con in the female area also isn’t very strong but it’s not too bad - Great WiFi speed - No laundry but laundromat nearby - This is on the third floor and there is NO lift. So the walk up with luggage is hot My only issues were that staff didn’t speak much English and gave misinformation about how to get around the city. Just go to the train station and get help there. I also had an issue with my bed but staff took care of it the next day at my request. One last thing, the dorm area can be loud, especially with suitcases knocking around and people coming in/out of the locked door. Overall, I would stay again and recommend it for a short stay.
One noticeable feature about this hotel is the front desk really went out of their way to help us, answer our questions and advise us about local attractions. Other reviewers already mentioned all other hotel good features so we won't repeat here. Especially shout-out to the young receiptionist on the front desk at the front lobby. She demonstrated the great Japanese hospitality custom, Omotenashi. She's patiently helped us with contacting local tour operator and to various questions of first-timer to Kanazawa: where to get the bus, where to eat, what to see... she distinctly epitomizes the ”kikubari” custom, which means anticipating the needs of others and attending to them before they're expressed. Even though she told us that she was not born in Japan she could explain everything very well in English.
