As expected, it was located in Kesennuma, a port town, and the fish dishes were very delicious. Dinner was left to the chef, but there were seafood such as sea bream, octopus, squid, saury, salmon, and hoya. Breakfast was also served with freshly cooked rice and miso soup, and freshly baked cherry blossoms, * baked, and onion toro, and I was really satisfied with the meal. Many of the employees were very kind, and they answered various questions without disgust. I was able to stay comfortably. Speaking of greed, there is a large communal bath (artificial radium spring), so I thought it would be convenient to have a thin towel that can be brought back, which is common in hot spring inns. Also, I wonder if the female bathtub was a little narrow. Overall, it is a hotel that can be recommended.

Stayed overnight during a tour of Japan. This past of the coast was devastated in the 2011 tsunami so part of the visit was to see how the region has recovered and to enjoy the beautiful costal scenery. This is a small hotel overlooking the beach. The rooms and comfortable and ours was very spacious with a small balcony overlooking the seashore. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in room and there are vending machines with various kinds of cold drinks available. The hotel includes an Onsen bath for men and women which was very nice to use. Traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast are included. Dinner was about 10 courses and although the menu was all in Japanese the waiter was super helpful and tried to explain what some of the dishes were. These included sashimi, sharks fin soup, grilled marlin, beef tongue ( a delicious local specialty, tastes like beef brisket) steak fillet, various vegetables steamed or pickled, soup, and egg plant ice cream for dessert. Very filling and delicious.
This is a majestic place to stay. Fantastic room, onsen and staff hospitality. It is also walkable but includes an incline that is a bit perilous. The breakfast buffet was infinite but somehow looked better than it tasted. There are numerous transportation options that I didn’t know about before arrival so be sure to inquire.
Located in Kesennuma, 11 miles from Osabe-minato, Kyukamura Kesennuma-Ohshima provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. This 4-star hotel offers luggage storage space. The hotel features family rooms.
All rooms in the hotel are equipped with a TV. Each room is equipped with a safety deposit box and free WiFi, while some rooms are equipped with a balcony. Guest rooms will provide guests with a fridge.
Iwate Hanamaki Airport is 69 miles away.
Hotel along bypass in the suburbs of Kesennuma. Business hotel but low-rise building and large bath and facilities are comfortable. The room type is also cheap and the room is large and nice for the out bus and there is no bathroom. The public bath is also available from midnight 2 and early morning 5, so there is no problem without a bus. There was no transfer and it was about 1600 yen by taxi from Kesennuma station. The meal and dinner were half Viking and the content was not bad. Basically, it is a fixed content, so it may be a little insufficient in the case of a drinking system in a local specialty.
It is a resort hotel affiliated with Minamisanriku and Kesennuma's Hotel Kanyo, which is familiar to local commercials in the Tohoku region, and is operated by a seafood wholesaler. It is located far from the city center of Kesennuma and JR Kesennuma Station, and in addition to picking you up from JR Kesennuma Station, if you make a reservation in advance, you can take a large sightseeing bus from the east exit of JR Sendai Station free of charge. The hotel building is located on a small hill, and the entrance to the building is at the end of the observation elevator adjacent to the Kesennuma Fish Market. The exterior of the building looks quite old, but the inside is kept clean and I'm glad I was able to spend a comfortable time during my stay. The Japanese-style room has a size of 12 tatami mats and can accommodate 4 to 5 people. In addition, there is a large public bath and an open-air bath, and Kesennuma Onsen was mined after 2000, and it is a natural hot spring with seawater as the main ingredient, partly because it is by the sea. Dinner was a course meal centered on Japanese cuisine, and since Kesennuma is one of Japan's leading fishing ports, there were seafood dishes, but the main dishes were swordfish shabu-shabu, abalone steamed in sake, and shark's fin soup. Breakfast is partly a buffet-style Japanese set meal, and although there are not so many varieties, it is designed to prevent congestion, such as keeping a designated time and keeping a distance from others. Although the room I stayed in this time was not on the sea side, you can see the illuminated Kesennuma Bridge from everywhere in the building. It was very helpful to have a large public bath, dinner and breakfast, and a free shuttle from Sendai, so I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

GGuest UserThe location is close to the fish market between the inner bay and Tanaka Mae, so the range of action is wide, and the selection of shops is wide.
Pre-check-in is very easy. It was very easy because there were few exchanges from the inn.
MMaps804421It's Kesennuma, but this time I went to Mr. Isomura. I'm from Tome City and travel overnight with my family. I was a little disappointed that it wasn't a hot spring. Immediately after arriving, this dissatisfaction disappeared. The beautiful hall and the room are beautiful. Above all, Kesennuma and Tome are trendy and welcome back Monet! I talked with the employee. Of course, the treat is delicious! What is soothing. It's not near the sea, but I enjoyed the goodness of Kesennuma and had a good time. Good inn and good treat. It is an inn located on a land without anything after the earthquake, but it is a nice inn with a calm space. I think this is not bad. (laughter)
Ffujita1101I stayed when I went to Kesennuma by train in late February. It is a hotel in front of JR Kesennuma Station, which is convenient to move from the station, but Kesennuma Station is a little far from the sea, so there are few restaurants around the station, so it may be a little inconvenient to go out at night. Still, there was a vending machine such as gyudon in the hotel, so it was saved when I was hungry at night. The customer service at the front desk was good, so it was a good hotel overall.
