"This time I came to Kagoshima on a solo trip.
I've always loved hot springs, so I stayed at Iodani Onsen Kirishima Hotel.
The hot springs at this inn were absolutely gorgeous. There was a spacious open-air bath, and I was able to enjoy a variety of different types, which was very relaxing.
Also, the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of dishes unique to Kagoshima, such as akumaki and chicken rice, which I was able to enjoy to my heart's content."
"The appearance of this hotel is very special and it is divided into two halls. The main building has beautiful floors and you can see the doors of every room. The room is fully equipped, but the furniture is a bit old, but everything is very clean. Maybe this hotel is 30 years old! The staff was very attentive and helped me carry all my luggage to my room. I rarely experience such service! There are two open-air free parking lots in the parking lot, which is convenient for self-driving tours. There is a small wedding hall in the main hall, which is simple and beautiful. There are both outdoor and indoor swimming pools, making it convenient for swimming in any weather. The breakfast options are quite good and tasty with lots of choices. Next time I come to Kagoshima, this hotel will definitely be my first choice!"

"Hot spring hotel in an area renowned for its hot springs. I deliberately chose the Japanese tatami-style to experience more of the local culture. As you can see from the photos, the view from my room was really nice! I also like the fact that both dinner and breakfast were included, as there isn't much around. Very comfortable stay overall, but mind you - the smell of sulphur (possibly?) from the hot springs is always there!"
"The hotel's hot spring is a sulfur spring, and your skin will feel super smooth after soaking in it. At nine in the morning, I made a reservation for the hotel's outdoor private hot spring, Akamatsu no Yu. The experience was superb. I soaked in the hot spring in the deep mountains and forests, and saw cute deer. The hotel environment and service are very good, and the food is also very good."
"I booked a view room, which was okay. I could see the Sakurajima volcano in the distance, but the view was average because it was too far away. Basically, the hotel was a bit old but it was well maintained. The dinner for one stay and two meals was average, but the breakfast buffet was delicious and there were many choices."
"I used this hotel for a short trip with my husband after work (we wanted to go to Kirishima Shrine)!
First, we were given a welcome drink of sweet potato shochu and tea, typical of Kagoshima, and everyone was having a good time. I also had some tea, and the staff were very polite and I felt that they were proud of the hotel. ^_^
First, we went to the family bath, and it was a very relaxing space where we could relax.
There was a coffee meal set, and I had never made my own coffee, but I was able to spend a relaxing time enjoying delicious coffee! The wonderful tools make it a picture. ♪
The large public bath was also okay. I went there thinking it would be just normal and clean, but it was very Japanese and stylish, and had a different atmosphere from the hotel's front desk and rooms, and it was very nice! There were several types of amenities to choose from, such as shampoo, and I thought, wow! I wanted to try this! I was happy.
My husband is tall. I wrote that in the comments section, and they prepared loungewear in a larger size for us, and we had a much more enjoyable time than we expected!
My husband doesn't go to hot springs very often, but
it was so good that I forced him to go, and he was so happy too! (*Ü*)♡
I'm really glad we were able to make some good memories♪"
"There is a supermarket nearby, which I think is more convenient. The hotel and room environment is very good, and the private outdoor hot spring space in the room is also relatively large; The only thing is that the hotel is located near the city. Although it is more convenient, it also sacrifices and lacks the landscape of . This depends on personal choice. But in general, it is considered a hotel worth staying in. "
"Check in and encounter seismic intensity 5 immediately
The room was on the 10th floor, so the actual shaking seems to have been more than that, but fortunately the building was solid, so I was able to spend it with peace of mind after that."
"The location a little bit far away to downtown. If you don’t drive yourselves, not recommend to stay.
The facility and view is very good. Room is tidy and clean. Dinner and breakfast are nice.
Hotel staff very friendly and helpful.
Nice stay "
"Facilities: Formerly the Royal Hotel, the west wing has only undergone exterior renovations. Therefore, I booked the newly renovated east wing. The rooms are predominantly wooden, and the twin-bed Japanese-Western style rooms are quite nice. The onsen (hot spring) is a mild sulfur spring, and the outdoor pool is nice. However, it's not the main sulfurous white spring in the area; those would likely be more therapeutic. There's a heated swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts, a playroom, and a children's play area.
Cleanliness: Good
Environment: Located next to Takachiho Ranch, it's situated on high ground, offering views of Sakurajima to the south, making it a good spot for sunset viewing.
Service: Good. Semi-electric bicycles are available for rent, currently free."

Outstanding
HHelenT09Awesome secret hot spring (this hotel is a member of the secret hot spring guard)! We stayed in the Tianquan room type. This hot spring hotel has an indoor bath and an open-air bath in every room. It was super enjoyable in the room. Dinner and breakfast were also delicious. It happened to be the red leaf season, so it was really beautiful! ! For those who love bathing, we also went to the large open-air hot spring pool which was very comfortable.
박박준호Typical Japanese hot spring village inn. The traffic is inconvenient, and the village seems to have not been greatly activated as a tourist destination, but the scenery is really good, and the inn itself was really good.
The room is clean and tidy, and the hot springs are all available from baths to open-air baths. Above all, the service was really great. I think there is probably no different hot spring pavilion where you can enjoy such dinner and breakfast at this price. The owner and wife were also very kind.
If you have a car, or if you want to take a bus or taxi four times a day, I think it's really cost-effective, Gashimbi Onsen Inn. I recommend it.
AAngYXYFirst of all, the phone number of the hotel can't be located in the navigation. You have to search for other hotels near the hotel by yourself. After arriving, you can only arrive smoothly with google maps.
Only one foreign female employee was seen throughout the stay, very friendly and courteous, but overall the service is really ordinary compared to other hot spring hotels
The room is a separate cabin, full of privacy, with its own outdoor hot spring, snowing in the hot spring is indeed a great enjoyment
Breakfast and dinner are delicious.
The hotel has no other facilities, mainly to enjoy the hot spring in the room, overall, not bad!
GGuest UserVery pleasant Japanese-style hot spring hotel, Japanese service is very intimate, several hot springs are very comfortable and private pools, kaiseki cuisine at night for two hours tastes very good, recommended!
DDeryu LeeThe traditional hot spring hotel in the country, although the language is not very good, but the service is very thoughtful, because there is no bus early in the morning, the hotel lady helps to find a nearby taxi, very intimate praise
