"This was our first trip to Japan and our very first ryokan experience, and we absolutely loved it! My husband and I were completely captivated by the atmosphere, the beautiful natural surroundings, the yukata, the exquisite kaiseki dinner, and of course, the relaxing hot springs. We spent two wonderful and incredibly relaxing days there.
A small tip: I recommend bringing some snacks or familiar food with you, as the ryokan cuisine might not be to everyone's taste."
"It was a short walk away from the Minakami Onsen bus stop and the room was clean. Loved the private onset overlooking the river as well. We didn't have breakfast there as the price was a little steep for us (~27 SGD) but there's a nearby bakery and other F&B, so food was not an issue. They provide PJs and a cardigan to put over as well. Staff was nice too."
"The room was nice, but the staff were really weird. They refused to give us towels and tooth brushes saying we had to pay for them. So we argued for about ten minutes and finally they gave us towels to shower with. There is nothing near the motel. Basically dilapidated buildings and abandoned buildings. Nothing really to do in the town itself. The onsen was pretty nice. Unless u want to stay at the motel all day don’t come to this town. There’s a free shuttle bus to the station as well."

"The location is a bit remote, the elderly male reception staff is very enthusiastic, the room space is large and well maintained, but it feels like the age of the building. The meal is quite delicious, but there are a few dishes that are western-style, and I am not very used to eating. I want to eat local traditional cuisine. Overall a relaxing hotel."
"[Location]
It's easy because there is a shuttle bus from Minakami Station.
【service】
He is very polite and looks at our customers.
(If you accidentally dropped the ingredients during the breakfast buffet, an employee at a distance told me ”I'm OK as it is.”)
[Cleanliness]
I thought the exterior was a bit rough (the exterior of the lobby was beautiful), but the interior was very beautiful. Surprisingly beautiful.
[Facilities and amenities]
・ You can drink coffee and apple juice freely in the lounge. (I drank apple juice but it was very delicious.)
-Take toilet paper in the room toilet
It is a bit disappointing that the rattling sound reverberates in the bedroom.
・ There is a fireplace beside the lobby and it looks like an Instagram.
[General]
The hotel itself was very beautiful and the service was good.
I would definitely stay here when I went over the water.

"The accommodation has a good atmosphere, the rooms are comfortable, the staff are lovely, there is a shuttle service to various stations, and the food is very delicious."
"Stayed here for 2 nights. Breakfast was good, but what was really great was the dinner. There are big strawberries. There was unlimited sweetness to eat. It was really great. On the first day of our stay, there was no snow at all. But on the second day, after traveling to the ski resort, when we returned to the hotel, we found snow in front of the hotel and inside the hotel, maybe 1 foot high. Very beautiful, impressive. The first day of showering was outdoors and the atmosphere was very refreshing. Think about soaking in warm mineral water in an atmosphere of 0 degrees. On the second day, you can take an indoor shower because the weather is minus 3 degrees, so it's better to take a shower indoors. The staff took very good care of us, like close relatives. Ask anything, I can answer it all. Recommend only good things The waiters were very attentive. In conclusion, I got a full score for this trip."
"A newly built modern hotel that comes with a private onsen in your balcony. Dinner with fusion which is not the usual for ryokan stays. You get to choose between Japanese or Western cuisine which we opt for Japanese and it was delicious! it's just a 6mins walk down to the Supermarket. Will definitely come back some day again!"
"It's a bathing place, but there is no shower room in the room, so you have to go to the public bath to take a bath. The service is also average, it seems polite, but the corridor is carpeted, and no one is willing to help you with your luggage when you check out, so you can only pull a suitcase cart back to the room to take your luggage."
