I was surprised that the room was in the woods but there were no insects at all. The surroundings are rich in nature, and it is a very pleasant place to hear the voices of birds and frogs. The appearance and furniture were cute, and when I fell on the bed, I saw the stars from the skylight. The breakfast was very delicious, despite the suddenness. The water from the tap water is natural water from Aso, and when I take a bath, it smells soft and gentle. Amenities were also available and comfortable. It is a fairy tale nearby, and it is recommended to touch animals.

Service was impeccable. This is a traditional Japanese style hotel (Ryokan), and we stayed in a separate house with private onsen bath room, living room and bedroom, as well as a small terrace. The room was excellent. Meals were sent to your room by friendly staff. Food was fantastic.

I was excited and used it in a free pass plan for health facilities. It was a great excitement to that dome type room. The hot spring was also soco, especially the open-air bath was exceptional while looking at the nature of ASO. The room door is a bit old style cylinder key, and if you are used to auto locking, you must be careful to forget to tighten. I had dinner breakfast, but I prepared a good weight for corona countermeasures. Overall, the corona countermeasures are good, but I think that the self service of rice and soup can be improved. I had a fun experience.

The service staff is very kind and one person can speak Chinese. We booked a private hot spring room. The room is very spacious. The private hot spring environment is ok, and it is a bit dark at night. The most appreciated is the public hot springs outside. There are more saunas indoors and outdoors. Very big. There is a soup outside the banquet. Dinner and breakfast are rich and delicious. And the price is cheap, may be a bit old. Overall very satisfied.

Travelled as a family, they made special arrangements for us to have earlier breakfast at 7.30am as we had to depart the hotel to Takachiho Gorge by 8am. Yukata was of the wrong size for my mum and we had a hard time getting the staff's attention to change the size. Food is average for ryokan omakase, my daughter had a change to feed the duck. We enjoyed the onsen.
