A very historic hot spring hotel founded in 1900, the rooms and so on are very clean. The service is completely in accordance with tradition, all the service staff in the hotel are very polite, the dinner breakfast is very good, and the dinner on the second night follows the tradition and is more advanced than the first night. The most rare thing is that breakfast is also made in accordance with the traditional Japanese set meal, which is really rare, because many high-end hot spring hotels have changed to buffet breakfast. After checking out, the woman will see us with a few large suitcases, and specially let the staff drive us to the station. Thank you! Will come again next time!
Add: There is a supermarket near the hotel, there are many restaurants, everything is very convenient.
GoTo travel campaign, it was a surprise price of 5200 yen with a semi-double breakfast for couples. The location is quite far from downtown, so it is quite inconvenient if you are not a traveler by car. There is no convenience store nearby, so dinner also used the hotel buffet. The infection was well prepared, and the entrance to the restaurant was prepared with alcohol disinfectant, disposable gloves, and simple masks. The couple were semi-double and honest. There is no bathroom in the room and use the hot spring on the 1 floor. The hot spring is given the key for the hot spring when the card key is passed to the front desk before entering the room. I felt that security was perfect because the opposite of the hot water was a man hot water.
The location is beautiful and the views from the car park assured us we had chosen well. Check in was helpful and all facilities were fully explained at this time, allowing us to book our dining time.
The room was comfortable and traditional; the view, amazing! With an afternoon of sunshine, time was taken to enjoy the view in a temperature controlled setting. There was a beautiful tea set and tea provided along with some complementary snacks and water. The toiletries provided were lovely and I shall certainly be looking to purchase these for my home.
Dinner was a Chinese style buffet, with an excellent selection of dishes. Barbecues for the table and delicious sashimi and hand prepared sushi. Soups, stews, salad and more! To follow was an assortment of cakes and ice creams. Staff were very helpful and polite and the food was filling and delicious. We then retired to the hotel bar where we were again greeted by a lovely member of staff.
Upon return to our room, futons had been prepared and the room made ready for sleep. These were surprisingly comfortable.
Breakfast was also delicious with a huge array of dishes to choose from. Check out was simple and staff were helpful and polite.
I will definitely be returning!

The main purpose is to ride the Sanriku Railway, and the concept of not spending money on accommodation is this trip. So I used this business hotel. It is about a 5 walk from the station, and the convenience is reasonably good because it is close to the drinking area and Nbini. There is a capsule hotel, but the business was canceled due to the corona disaster. There was also a large communal bath, although it was only for men. Well, you can use it if you divide it into just sleeping.
This time I stayed with my dog for my wife's birthday present. At check-in, the reception at the front desk was very polite and comfortable, and my dog gave me a goat milk present. The room was clean and large enough, and it was good to be able to take a bath slowly in the large bath. For dinner, they changed to room meals, soft abalone dance grilled with local ingredients, Miyako salmon and salmon sashimi, squid / miso grilled, fried oysters, And the dessert was a very satisfying dinner with a local dish. Breakfast was also very delicious with oysters and unedible items, especially the miso soup of wakame sea urchin was delicious and I replaced rice. The staff at dinner and breakfast were also very pleasant and nice. I could see Miyako Bay from the window and the Asahi was beautiful. The location of the hotel was good and it was good to be able to take a walk to the ferry terminal side and the sea. This is a hotel that I would like to recommend to everyone as a hotel to stay while enjoying sightseeing in Sanriku with Mr. Wanko. I would definitely like to stay again this time in a warm time. I'm glad my wife was very relaxed and happy. Thank you to all the hotel staff.
Stayed for a night en route from Miyako to Morioka. Not very convenient unless you have a car, and there are practically no restaurants or convenience stores nearby. There is a small shop at the lobby of the hotel that opens till night and sells snacks and instant noodles and drinks. We had breakfast at the hotel, which was free with our stay, and a normal western-japanese buffet. Not that huge of a variety, but was quite tasty with the necessary yogurt, bread, and japanese items like porridge, fish, egg. Room was big, and apparently all rooms have an ocean view. We woke up at 530am just to catch the sunrise, and it was definitely worth it. Service wise was very good, expected of Japanese standards, and particularly Tohoku level!
