"I originally planned a trip to Fukuoka but came to Saga for the Saga beef. I booked the convenient Comfort Hotel Saga. The room was really small, and they didn't provide drinking water. On the first floor, they only offered basic cotton swabs and toothbrushes, so I was glad I brought my own cotton pads and shower cap. Check-in and check-out at the hotel were self-service. The hotel's location is indeed excellent; it's within walking distance to Saga Castle and the Balloon Museum. It's also right next to Saga JR Station, and you can take a bus to the famous YouMe Town in Saga. The bus stops are well-connected and right by the JR station, making it very convenient. However, at over 700 [currency unit] per night, the value for money isn't great when it's not peak season. If you prioritize convenient transportation, this place could be a good choice."
"I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, especially if your budget allows for it!
The room windows offer direct views of the moat, and the hotel is incredibly close to attractions like the hot air balloon festival grounds and shrines.
**Transportation:** From Saga Station, you can take the Showa Bus (towards Karatsu) directly to the hotel. Alternatively, the most convenient option is to simply take a taxi.
**Service:** I absolutely have to commend the hotel's front desk staff! They were an enormous help! Due to heavy rains in the Kyushu region, I found myself stranded in Saga and had difficulty getting around. I wanted to arrange for my luggage to be sent directly to my next hotel in Fukuoka. A lady wearing glasses at the front desk was exceptionally helpful in assisting me with filling out the Takkyubin (luggage delivery service) forms. Even though the courier company ultimately couldn't guarantee delivery to my next hotel before my departure due to the heavy rain, the hotel staff's assistance was invaluable and greatly appreciated!
**Dining:** When it's too hot in summer, taking a break at the hotel's first-floor cafe, sipping coffee and enjoying the views, is a fantastic way to relax. (The Baumkuchen is delicious!)"
"The hotel is right next to Saga Station, on the right side of the South Exit. It's very convenient. The room is clean and sanitary. There is a free drinking water machine, microwave and ice machine in the breakfast area on the first floor. There are two machines for self-service check-in and check-out. The breakfast variety is quite satisfactory. There are quite a lot of dining options in the station. You can walk to the scenic spots in Saga. The small town gives people a quiet feeling. It is suitable for a short stay. Saga beef is well-deserved."
"If you are just staying in Saga for one night, you can still consider it. I really don't recommend other hotels because the bed is very small and the bathroom is really average. You don't even want to take a shower. Of course, if you have the courage, you can try the hot spring bath on the ground floor. You can get toiletries in the lobby and there is also free Costa coffee. So you can't ask for too much for this price. It is a certain distance from the airport on foot, but it is within an acceptable range. Across the main road outside the hotel (next to the airport bus station) there is a supermarket that is larger than 711 and opens until 12 o'clock in the evening, which is convenient for guests who want to buy things when they return late, but it is not duty-free."
"It is near the station so transportation is convenient, the accommodation is clean, the staff is friendly, and I was satisfied with the breakfast service. I was satisfied in every way."
"The room and floor are very retro, the baby feels very good, for the parking lot courtyard is very small, but it is very pleasant to open a little window in the room to watch the summer and listen to the cicadas. Although it is tatami, the mattress is very thick and comfortable. Breakfast is also very Japanese. Very rich, the only suggestion is, Next time you make the bed, you can change the direction... The air conditioner blows coldly against the brain door з”∠_"
"My first experience in Saga. I got a good deal on a flight ticket during the cherry blossom season. I landed in Fukuoka and then headed south to Saga. It was very convenient and there were not many people during the cherry blossom season. The hotel was just opposite Saga Station. I was still debating whether to change to a comfort inn, but found that it was fully booked for the days I wanted to stay. So I thought forget it. A business hotel for 300+, with a bath at night and meals included in the morning, what more could I ask for!"
"Nicely designed hotel. But rooms are small and tight. Not easy to walk around. Location a little off the center of Saga City but lots of car parking available. Service was good and helpful. And you can even buy a fireworks and play!"
"There are long hairs of women on the bed. About 15 minutes walk from Saga Station. Breakfast is quite satisfactory. Overall service is OK. The bath water is not hot enough. It is quiet around at night."

Amazing
HHoustonianThe villa is very comfortable, of course the price is not cheap. You get what you pay for! But it’s too far from the check in place. If it’s not for our super-accommodating sports enthusiasts, it’s probably going to give up... The front desk service is okay, it’s too far away, I feel two or three kilometers, with heavy luggage, and the sun is like a fire. You can imagine the feelings of the wife and children at home... The map icon is not very clear and the navigation is not easy to use. It is recommended that the front desk help enter the destination and then take it with the navigation. Otherwise, it will be a big thing if you lose it.
GGuest UserWhile the reception/ lobby of the property is beautiful (and the wood and flowers smell really good), the room corridors of the main building seem to be a little old. The room itself is large but cosy, and has a very nice mountain view. Very relaxing to just sit by the window and have tea.
The public onsen (both men and woman) also has a fantastic mountain view and really cute sauna rooms.
We liked the Sukiyaki dinner but be aware that the smell clings on your clothings and you'll smell like Sukiyaki the whole evening :D
GGuest UserAlthough there is a price range in the Huluyu hot spring, there are plenty of private houses and open-air baths. Although it is not a polite form of reception, it is very kind and inconvenient. Especially the food is very good
__M1370192****The room layout is very comfortable and beautiful, the quality of the second meal is very good and very satisfied, the kaiseki cuisine is full of rituals, so that the first time to experience the hot spring ♨️ hotel friends amazed.
AAlbertoI loved this place. I felt so relaxed and looked after with an amazing service. The room was fantastic. I loved the modern Japanese traditional style. I will come back one day🙏🦚
