As a family (with teen-agers) we decided to visit Japan for the first time ever. We wanted to stay in a traditional Japanese Inn. This place was a lucky find. Not just the authentic accommodation but also we were so well looked after by the hostess who fed us delicious Japanese breakfast, gave us recommendations for activities and showed us traditional Japanese clothing and crafts. It was a delightful introduction to the country in a lovely setting. The hostess did not speak English but had a useful electronic translator that worked well for us to communicate. Highly recommended this.

The hotel was very clean. The hotel front desk staff are very courteous and professional. The location is outstanding, 6 minute walk from terminal 1. The free hotel bus operates on schedule and the drivers are all courteous and helpful!!
Sleeping pods (capsules) are at two levels - crawl in at floor level or climb up to second level (small ladder). Capsule has mattress, doona/duvet/quilt, wi-fi, and adjustable light. You can sit up comfortably inside capsule. Retractable curtain covers the entrance to capsule. So you have to be very quiet so neighbours aren’t disturbed, and snoring can be an issue (yours or others). Hotel divided into two sections - men only and women only. Reception hands you a bag containing towels and robe. Door from reception opens to locker room. Lockers are good size - can fit the largest suitcase, and more. Leave your shoes in locker and use slippers. Then head to shower/toilet area or capsule-bed area. No eating or drinking in capsule-bed area. No lounge area. Hotel connected to Terminal Two by two walkways (underground near train station entrance, or overpass at level two). Terminal Two has 24hr convenience store and a Yoshinoya, and usual shops and restaurants open during business hours. Connecting passageway to Terminal 3 from Terminal 2, or Shuttle bus to Terminal 1 every ten minutes (takes 7 minutes).
I wanted to be excited, so I chose a hotel with a good view of the plane. If you use the smartphone app (flightradar24.com), you can see ”where the plane came from” and ”where you are going” and feel the romance. Personally, my favorite is to sway in a Woodteres hammock. Breakfast had a full-fledged toaster, so it was delicious with sausages in between. There was a takeaway cup for coffee so I could relax in my room.
This is one of the hotels you will be send to for the mandatory COVID19 quarantine. We needed to stay here for three nights. Our room on the 11floor (R21105). We came from Vietnam and they treated us really nice, they make us feel comfortable like a home. This hotel is very close to NRT Airport. In typical Japanese fashion, twin room is tiny, but there is everything you would possibly need. Friendly, helpful staff and quickly check-in. When We needed their help, they appeared immediately. Everyday we had 3 meals included rice, fish, miso soup, noodles, sausages, etc. Generally a very traditional Japanese meals. Really delicious and soon! Since the room is small there is a sign that says you can put your luggage under the beds. Overall, great place to stay.
from the location wise, it is very convenient when it provide the shuttle to airport. there is a convenient store so you can get something to eat there.
yhe hotel has machine help us on hotel check-in /out so even many people come at same time , it will not take long to get a room. highly recommend !
the room is Toky standard size but redecorate so feel new indeed and smart TV available
This was my second time staying in Tobu and first time using the East room. The standards for the East and West were different. So this review will mainly talk about the differences between both so you can pick which one.
Rooms;
East: It gave motel vibes. Everything was clean but the interior felt hotel but also a bit outdated.
West: the best hotel introduction in Japan. I stayed here when i first landed last september and since then have been recommending it to people because of how much I enjoyed the room.
Amenities:
East: the bidet was not too old but older than the one in the west. It took time to change from front to back option. It didnt have heated seat too. The bathroom was smaller than the west room. Everything else that was provided were the same to the West room.
West: The heated toilet was the cherry on top. The toilet was more spacious than East too!
Cleanliness:
East: found hair on the bathtub and one on the wall. Lowkey was 80-90% clean and the rest percentage was cos of the dust. I turned on the air purifier and dust flew onto my face cos it was on default strong mode..
West: cleaner than East LOL
Overall:
Pick West rooms if u can but if u just want the cheaper option, perhaps the East!
Excellent
