Firefly Redclay Pension was great place to stay. Very quiet, very clean pension. The owners are very kind and helpful. They go out of there way to ensure that your stay and experience is very memorable and relaxing. We had a awesome time there! Clean fresh mountain air, blue skies and the beginning of autumn foliage. We would definitely stay there again and recommend the Firefly Redclay pension.

4.7/5
Outstanding
HHang YuIt is very convenient to take the Purple bus from Seoul to high 1, we got on the bus at Myeongdong 0845 and went to high 1 at about 12:30. Because the check-in time was not reached, the room was still being cleaned up, but the hotel was very good, allowing us to drop our luggage in the room, there was a room at about 2:30.
The room is very clean and the facilities are very new. We live in Mountain CondoA, and it is very convenient to walk to mountain Ski House. There is a convenience store in Block B, which may be sold because of the Lunar New Year? We can only buy some instant noodles, kimchi and other simple foods these days.
The hotel has shuttle bus walking grand hotel , mountain condo , hill condo. when we go, take airport bus directly to Incheon Airport (it seems to only provide 20/12-2/2), get on the bus at 1000, and arrive at Incheon Airport at 1400 on time.
The only room for improvement is the way the staff communicates. Whether the front desk staff or other staff members are basically not very good at English, but some employees can speak a little Mandarin.
GGuest UserThe rooms were clean and the staff was friendly, so we had a great trip with our family. I would 100% visit again. I will visit again next time.
GGuest UserIt's so clean and nice
I would like to visit again and enjoyed it.
There are many events and the facilities are clean, so it's really good for families and couples to visit.
GGuest UserRooms were pleasant, everything functioning nicely. Hotel is comfortable and reasonably well-organised. Around the resort there are places where poor signage and language difficulties may give pause for non-Korean-speaking travellers, but it's nothing that a smartphone and a little persistence can't overcome. Free shuttle buses to the close-by ski hill and two local towns are frequent enough. Staff are kind, considerate and helpful. Food on the mountain is basic but perfectly fine. Unless you are coming for the casino specifically I wouldn't recommend the hotel in general. All facilities require extra charges and are cynically overpriced to rob more money from the punters, whose tinted-window executive cars arrive in droves. The less said about the buffet at the Grand Table the better. There is something very soulless about the High1 resort in general, and the strong corporate vibes give the place an eerie quality. The skiing is not so bad, although experienced riders will get bored after 2 or 3 days, unless a rare snowfall increases the fun. That said, the resort's snow-making abilities are quite impressive. If you are someone who gets irritated by poor piste etiquette, don't come here. At any given time half of the riders will be in the process of falling over, will have already fallen over, or will be chatting sat in the middle of the fairway. Try not to imagine anything in the way of apres-ski. As a solo traveller bored of watching the casino donkeys shift about the hotel, I went searching in the local towns for a bar. It was a depressing failure. I read the resort was intended to bring money to the depressed mining towns of Sabuk and Gohan, but seemingly it has turned these places into a succession of garishly presented empty restaurants and ”Thai massage” joints, the latter being a favourite of the aforementioned tinted-window crowd.
GGuest UserThis is the closest accommodation to the shuttle bus stop that goes to High1 Resort.
Of course, there is also the advantage of being able to find a room much cheaper than the surrounding area on weekdays or weekends.
It can be said to be the best value for money accommodation in Hammadi, as the cleanliness and amenities are not bad for the price.
I recommend it.
GGuest UserIt's adjacent to a commercial area, parking is okay, the room condition is clean, and it's a hotel with the best cost-effectiveness at a low price on weekdays. I remember eating bibimbap for breakfast, and it was a very delicious meal, and it was really convenient not to have to go to a restaurant in the morning. The sound of the stream right next door can be healing, and some people may find it annoying, but I really liked it~~
DDayeThe hotel itself is impeccable, but the tenant in the next room was drunk and making loud noises in the room at 5 am. I give the hotel full marks and the neighbor zero points.
GGuest UserI booked the High Valley Hotel for a conference at High One Resort. The motel was the facility that changed the name to the hotel, and the building was the highest in the neighborhood, so it was easy to find.
Because it's summer, I closed the windows and turned on the air conditioner. There are no mosquitoes in this community. It's cool. I can turn off the air conditioner and open the window to sleep.
But the nets in the bathroom windows are torn, which is better if you repair them.
The boss in the lobby kindly responded.
There was a stream nearby, so it was good to walk in the morning.
GGuest UserCleanliness is okay
Because it's peak season, the elevator is completely hellish
There's no soundproofing at all. I don't know if it's the next room or the next room, but they were playing games, drinking, and playing until past midnight, and there were definitely no notices or restrictions on manners. I couldn't sleep
I paid for 4 people, but they gave me 4 towels
When I asked for more towels, they gave me 4 for 4 people, and they asked me for 2,000 won for 2
They asked me for 3,000 won for 4. I was shocked
The parking lot is large. It's also peak season, so parking is very difficult.
GGuest UserI am grateful for the kindness of the manager and staff.
They even provided valet parking on rainy days.
The interior was also very clean, as if they paid a lot of attention to cleanliness.
