"This is a B&B-style hotel. While the entrance is a bit difficult to find, chartering a car is easy, public transportation is difficult to reach. The room is spacious, bug-free, and offers mountain views. The restaurant is reasonably priced, and the breakfast is simple, but with freshly made omelets, it's quite good. The staff were friendly, but a bit overly helpful. They offered tea and water at breakfast, but they were actually looking for a tip. Since I didn't have cash with me that morning, I went upstairs, saying I'd give them money. They chased me from the second floor to the fourth and asked me how my breakfast was at my door. Their intentions were obvious. Fortunately, considering the prices at Ella, I gave them 200 rupees and they happily left, which was acceptable."

Я брал обычный номер (кровать, небольшой «стол», стул, тумбочка, душ/туалет. Для меня комната очень маленькая и в кровать я не вмещался (рост 190см). Но мне очень понравилось гостеприимство хозяина отеля и его друга, они очень дружелюбные и старались создать максимальный комфорт! Есть просторная веранда на первом этаже, где можно скоротать вечер или поработать в ноутбуке. Завтраки вкусные и сбалансированные, что мне тоже очень понравилось, также несколько раз ужинал здесь же - всё понравилось, вкусно!"

"The hotel is on the hillside, with a good mountain view, the room bathroom is super large, the only room that is not damp in the 20 days of living in Sri Lanka, if there is air conditioning, it will be perfect.  It is more than 20 minutes' drive from Ella Town.  Ella is mostly sloped . It is basically a curved path to various hotels and homestays. It is very suitable for  people who want to be quarantined for a few days to live for a few days. I especially want to praise their service team. A few simple warm and friendly local boys, they really want to be good to every guest staying, thank you for the delicious breakfast."

"The hotel has incredibly beautiful views, the windows overlook the cliff, the jungle, tea plantations. The breakfast is good, hearty. The staff is very responsive, always ready to help. It's cool at night, so ask for extra blankets. The only downside is the pedestrian road to the hotel, as half of it is on concrete, the other half is on the ground, where there are leeches in the wet season, they have time to stick to you in 4 minutes of walking. The hotel can only be reached by tuk-tuk along a narrow road, the staff kindly gave us a ride to the car on the day of our departure. I would gladly stay at this hotel again."

"I'd like to share more than just a review, but a sincere thank you for several days of absolute peace and pleasure. It wasn't a typical vacation, but a true recharge. This villa is in a stunning location, surrounded by green hills and tea plantations! The hotel has only two spacious rooms, both with balconies and panoramic views. Everything is clean and tidy. There were four of us traveling, and it felt like the house was ours! It was amazing! Breakfast was prepared on time, and it was varied over both days. Large portions, everything was delicious: fruit, roti, burgers, several egg options, pancakes, and drinks to choose from. Nearby there's a picturesque railway bridge and a restaurant serving local cuisine. The city center is a 10-minute tuk-tuk ride along the serpentine roads. Special thanks to the hotel owner and manager, who were always ready to help, share information, and offer assistance! We will be happy to come back again!"

"The hotel is excellent, everything you need in the room is there, even slippers, furniture and plumbing have been updated. It is located near the street with restaurants, 5 minutes down the hill. Walking to the start of the trail to the nine-arch bridge is about 20 minutes. We had a room with a stunning view, mountains and a waterfall are visible from the window. Good place for the price/quality ratio"

"From the hotel it's about half an hour up the mountain (we walked there). A very nice place on the mountainside with a view of the neighboring Mount Ella and a waterfall, forest all around, local squirrels, an idyll. In general it's quiet, but from time to time a train passes below - a local landmark. It's convenient to start a walk from the hotel to Mount Ella, to the nine-arch bridge, to Mount Adam. Just go down and you're in the epicenter of city life. Wonderful hostess. The sweetest dog Nikki, we played with her all day. The room is spacious, with an exit to the veranda, where you can sit and look at the forest. Breakfast is served there. There is a kitchen with a stove and a kettle, which you can use. In the bathroom, bring your own soap, shampoo, etc. It's cool at night, but there are blankets for that. The breakfasts are nice: the hostess baked flatbreads, there is toast, fruit, an omelet. Please note: The lighting in the bathroom is dim, the water pressure is weak, but these are local peculiarities. As always, there is only one socket. Please note that it needs to be plugged in. There is no TV, kettle, refrigerator, air conditioner, there is a fan and a canopy from insects, but it is not hot here. A wonderful hotel, we left with regret."

"It's close to the station so you can walk if you don't have a lot of luggage. The location is good. There is no cooler probably because the location of the hotel is cool. Also, it was cold at night because there were no hangings such as blankets. Also, the amount of water in the shower was small and lukewarm. However, the staff was kind."

The EKHO hotel is on the edge of Eller town, not far from the main street, making it easy to travel. The characteristics of a good hotel are: clean, quiet, comfortable and modern, rich breakfast, and warm staff. Seems very ordinary ... However, isn't it very unusual to encounter a hotel without regret during the trip. ok, for the fun of travel, recommend it!"
