We stayed in the Moringa Lodge for two nights as part of a two week holiday. The bubbles are absolutely brilliant - the setting is beautiful (in the forest overlooking a lake), they're really well set up with a comfy bed, robes, tea & coffee, AC and they gave us a bottle of bubbles on arrival. We particularly liked the (private) outdoor shower. The ability to see stars and the moon from the bed is something really special, as is the resort itself - it truly is a beautiful place and the animals wandering about just add to the feeling of being somewhere special. It was great to visit the tea factory and do the tea tasting but I’m not sure I’d recommend it without the stay - it was fairly simple. As other reviewers have said, the dinner set up is a bit odd. The food was nice enough but we didn't love eating in a mostly empty restaurant - it didn't feel super relaxing. For breakfast, I felt they could have explained the options a bit better - I had a totally different breakfast experience on the second morning with a different member of staff who offered me a variety of things vs the first day. The other - and bigger - issue for me was that there were so many mosquitos. I know the resort can't help this but if you're someone who gets bitten easily I'd think twice about staying here. It just meant I couldn't sit outside on the deck to relax as I got so badly bitten the first afternoon. Perhaps the hotel could provide bug spray in the room which would help. This could have just been the time of year we visited (December) but it wasn't rainy season (yet).

The southern hotel is very elegant, the room in the camphor is very comfortable, and the spacing between the villas is very wide and feels very good. The hotel environment is also good, breakfast is delicious. After three days of stay, the waiter sent chocolate every night. On the last day, knocking on the door knocked like an exaggeration. Bad Chevk-in routine It is a very modern hotel too bad the staff and the hotel’s policies are not modern. The hotel is isolated in an area away from facilities. You need transportation to get to a small mall or to the beach. The hotel does run a limited shuttle to the mall and beach. We arrived at the hotel from the Mauritius cruise port at 11:30am. At the front desk they said the rooms will not be assigned until 3pm and we should just sit down until 3 pm. Never asked our names. I said we are Holiday Inn members - didn’t matter - rooms will be assigned at 3pm. However a couple we knew arrived at 12:30pm and were given a room immediately. They did not know why. We also watched numerous people check out while we waited. The 3 pm assignment had nothing to do with the rooms being ready. Rooms are not assigned until 3 pm. By 3 pm there were over 40 people waiting for rooms. Some people decided to go to the mall. Can you imagine 40 people waiting until 3 pm for a bell to ring signaling the rooms are now available. I envisioned a mad rush to get in line for a room. Disgusted I asked for a manager. When I explained to Cecilia that we were waiting since 1130 for a room AND we are HIG members. Cecilia said they have a routine. I asked “isn’t it better to assign rooms as they become available rather than wait until 3 pm to assign all the rooms” She reiterated that they have a routine. So at 3 pm now people are alll lined up to obtain their room assignments. It will take well over an hour to assign the rooms. At 5:30 pm people were still on line to check in. The hotel’s routine is not good for customer satisfaction.

For the first stop of the honeymoon trip in Mauritius, I chose a relatively quiet and close to the south shore. When choosing a hotel, I always think that the expensive hotel is the best when I choose the hotel. When I moved to the east bank during the second half of the trip, It was only after the hotel knew that there would be no harm without comparison! The beaches on the south shore are much cleaner than the east shores, and the sea surface is much calmer. The scenery is dominated by the setting sun. Lying on the beach in the calm afternoon and watching the evening is really pleasant. The main restaurant is a buffet. The theme is different every day. The Indian theme is my favorite. The local cuisine of wool ball is not delicious. The honeymoon meal was upgraded to an open-air French meal by the sea. This may be the biggest slot in the experience. The dishes did not like it and it caused me a fever. The hairball traffic is really expensive. When you take a taxi from the airport to the hotel, the driver has a fixed price. It thinks that it feels pitted, an hour's drive, 2200 rupees. If you don't plan to make a hotel, people who go out every day will still rent a car online. It's only 500 yuan a day. If you plan your trip, you must book a day trip from the Internet in advance. There may be no places when you set the ball. In order to save time, live in the south shore of the dolphins seven-colored earthen bird park. For the ball, driving time is the biggest benefit.

This is a very racist resort. Koreans never go here. I get frustrated trying to figure out the value for money. Anantara is a very beautiful resort. Decor is top notch and comfortable. The staff provides excellent service and assistance is always available. The resort is a beach front property with a lot of activities. This property is amazing and you won’t go wrong by choosing it. Yusef , Cintia, Karim, Sharonne, Paul, and many more of the staff ( I’m bad with names) , will attend to all your needs.
