We went to the Maldives for the first time in November 2024, we liked the look of Meedhupparu so booked two weeks in the water bungalows. Wow, our stay was absolutely amazing, the water bungalows are just beautiful with a hot tub and double sunbed on the deck and steps down onto the reef. The snorkelling was amazing from those steps, into the water and you were in finding nemo world immediately. We saw baby black tip reef sharks, full size rays all feet away from our accommodation. Our Butler Addhu was amazing for our whole stay, made sure we were fully looked after, his special way of making us feel welcome and at home was really welcome. Anything we needed Addhu was there by our side making sure we had it, he even sent us a happy new year message on WhatsApp a month after we left, thank you Addhu, your the best my friend. We would like to give a shout out to Clovie too, she was training under Addhu while we were there, what a lovely lady, under Addhu’s tutorship she will become n amazing butler without doubt. Our room service was carried out by Riyaz, he was clinical in his work and made sure our water villa was clean, tidy and sand free our whole stay. The restaurant attached to the water villas was a great bonus, the food morning noon and night was gorgeous, Chef Numan and Thilanka saw to that, our waiters Nihad and Pradeep were a joy for our full two week stay, Nihad kept up laughing the whole trip, perfect service all round. The food in the wider resort was also good, the main buffet restaurant had some beautiful food on offer as did Cafe Mass for a light meal and the wonderful Thavaa which you need to book. The bars on Meedhupparu were fantastic, the sunset bar was a lovely place to go in the evening and have a cold drink while listening to the sea lapping gently on the white sand, we met the outstanding singing duo Shenal & Thimasa, they were amazing and entertained us our whole stay. Early in our stay we requested they play Dance the night away by the Mavericks as we love dancing to that song, they didn’t know it so couldn’t oblige, however two days later they surprised us by playing it beautifully, they must have practised it just to make us happy, thanks Guy’s you were both truly amazing. The bars staff in the main bar Rumesh, Kumara and Aalif were just amazing, they made sure we had drinks permanently as well as water which we needed after dancing tne night away to the excellent DJ Marlon, he played all the music we loved, cheers Marlon. Overall this place was paradise, we have travelled far and wide but were blown away by how much of a step up this was, we will be back.

The hotel is especially praised. There is a Chinese hotel waiter, Miss Sister, so it is very convenient. When booking, I have a honeymoon, so the hotel room is also ready for a honeymoon gift. Hahaha is very intimate. Come and return with the hotel manager’s deliberate Welcome, the ceremony is full, the inner flight and the speedboat are also very convenient, it is completely worthy of this price.

The room is not big but it is sufficient. Let me talk about what I am not satisfied with: 1. Free snacks and drinks were provided in each room during the stay. On the premise that the housekeeper and cleaning staff gave tips, no snacks were provided on the second day of stay. After the housekeeper helped to coordinate, the hotel insisted that it had been repaired, as if I was dishonest. Although the items were small, I would never give in on matters of principle. I continued to negotiate with the housekeeper, and finally made up for the snacks that were originally supposed to be there. 2. Most people may take the sand first and then the water. Everyone in the sand house has a pair of flip-flops, but they don’t have them in the water house. No one ever reminded me of this. I thought I would have new ones when I moved to the water house, so I didn’t bring them with me. Fortunately, I brought my own flip-flops. 3. This is not my first time in Madai, but it is my first time to see big cockroaches in Madai. In the restaurant next to the water house, a fierce little beast swam quickly through the gaps in the placemats, scaring me and screaming without any preparation. The waiter in the restaurant turned a blind eye. It wasn't until long after I changed tables that someone who seemed to be in charge came over and said sorry to me. Also, some of the placemats are a bit sticky, so I don’t know how often they need to be cleaned. 4. One day when I opened the faucet in the water house early in the morning, it was filled with dark brown liquid. It took me a long time to recover before I remembered to take a photo as a souvenir.

It was an amazing vacation! More than a month has passed, but bright and warm memories still keep me warm. Check in was quick and with a big surprise! Instead of a beach villa I was offered a water villa. At first I doubted, but then I was very grateful for such a gift. If your goal is privacy, then a water villa is what you need. Main advantages: 1. You will really have privacy. 2. The sun terrace with their own private space to relax with direct access to the lagoon. Two steps and the whole water world is under your feet. 3. Free access to a la carte restaurants (Dinner in an Italian restaurant right on the sand by torchlight with prosecco and tiramisu. It's a delight!). And so it is possible to enumerate ad infinitum. The island is very beautiful and full of green and flowers. When you walk along the beach or along the paths, you get the feeling that you are in two parallel worlds. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and ready to help you with any questions. If you are relaxing alone, believe me, you will not be bored😊. If someone thinks that the Maldives is just a beach and snorkeling, then he or she is greatly mistaken. The recreation program is so varied that you can dance incendiary at the party, and watch the national Maldivian dances and spend a wonderful evening in the bar enjoying live music. And finally, my vacation would not have been so complete if I had not taken the risk of going to private yoga classes. This is worth it! For a person inexperienced with yoga and meditative practices, this was a revelation! In just a couple of classes, thanks to Aditi, you begin to feel your body and your mind is filled with calmness and clarity. I highly recommend individual classes to everyone, especially when they take place on the sea edge with a sunset view😊 Thanks to all management of the hotel for the high level of service and the feeling that the guest is the most important here!

The trip and stay in Reethi Faru will remain unforgettable in our memories. There was nothing to complain about. We only booked breakfast, which turned out to be right for us. So we were able to eat in one of the restaurants on the island every evening. With full board or all inclusive, dinner would only have been possible in the main restaurant (buffet), or in one of the other restaurants only for an additional charge. The rooms are well maintained and cleaned properly. Coffee, tea and water are refilled daily in the room free of charge. Room service twice a day, which we didn't use because we put ”do not disturb” on the door after the morning cleaning. The staff are without exception courteous and helpful. We also spent a lot of time in the diving center (we got certified). The management of the diving center is under Swiss management and it is precisely this Swiss quality of reliability that is demonstrated.

We came here on our honeymoon and the scenery is very beautiful. Our Chinese housekeeper, Kim, is beautiful and kind, and his Chinese is also very standard, and he responds to every request. Because of the domestic epidemic situation, our marriage certificate was more than 6 months old, but Kim still helped us get a honeymoon package, which was a candlelight dinner on the beach, with a good atmosphere and delicious food. Flying to the island by water is the third stop, about an hour or so, and I saw beautiful scenery on the way. The water house we live in has good sound insulation, and there will be some waves at night, which is very helpful for sleeping. There is also an adjustable ambient light in the room, but you need to ask for a hot water bottle at the front desk. Hot water is more suitable for the Chinese stomach hahaha. The overall experience was great! The sky is very blue, the water is very clear, and the sand is very white. I will definitely come again if I have a chance!

The water house is also very good. The location is next to the breakwater, which is also the outermost part of the water house. It is very convenient to swim out and snorkel. There are still relatively few coral reefs, most of which are dead, but there are still many fish. Small sharks can often be seen here, which is also a rare experience. The only bad thing is that there are sometimes a lot of sea**** floating here, which smells very strong. It would be much better if you live in a water house in the middle.

The hotel is new and very well decorated. Hotel food is also very diverse. The hotel will arrange a speedboat to connect domestic small planes to and from Male Airport, which can take about 40 people. Connections are handled by someone. It takes a long time to fly to the water, and the weather will also change the flight, so it is best to stay in Male for one night, after all, the cost of one night on the island is very expensive. This island is very small, there are not many residents in non-peak season, there are not many villas, semi-water villas are very good. Basically, there are many Italian guests on the island, and usually there are few people participating in various water activities. It is necessary to discuss the price separately, such as snorkeling by speedboat alone, and fishing alone to see dolphins. If the guest’s English is not very good, the island will cheat students. When we check out, I actually have to pay for the seaplane. Free accommodation for children has also become a charge. I directly called Ctrip and refused to pay. Exempt, this is more than 2,000 US dollars. If it is not for the flight delay, I have time to toss with them, I have to pay in advance by credit card. The scenery is very good, the sea snorkeling is very beautiful, I saw groups of dolphins, but the island lacked some activities and atmosphere, I went back to the hotel to sleep early in the evening. Therefore, the arrangement during the day is very full, using US dollars as RMB flowers. There are good snorkeling corals on the right front of the pier and next to the billiards hall.
