"I had mixed feelings about this hotel:
-Very spacious room/suite and comfortable bed.
-Nice places to hang out in the hotel with nice views.
-Staff was very friendly
But:
-Poor isolation. We got awaken by loud music from neighbors’ tv at 6 AM. We heard everything as if the speakers were in our room.
-Disappointing breakfast (only toast and fruits).
Overall good experience, but could be better for a 4-star hotel."
"I was expecting more from a Hilton! Service overall was good, however a couple of issues, for breakfast, the gluten free bread was terrible and barely eatable. When I told the woman at the entrance of the restaurant and I believe also one of the waitresses, she could not care less! Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Comfortable bed, big room, good room coffee and tea but another issue was the air conditioner, so noisy! You could not have it off or the room would get stuffy, if you leave it on, the noise would wake you up throughout the night as it was not constant but it will switch on automatically when the temperature was reached. It is a very old and noisy system. Nice to have a swim in the pool after a long fly! "
"Review of Hilton All-Inclusive Cancun
Our group of 14 had an absolutely fantastic time at the Hilton All-Inclusive Cancun! The resort exceeded our expectations in many ways, and we made some wonderful memories during our four-day stay.
The food was a major highlight—we dined at nearly all the restaurants, and every meal was delicious. Our favorite was the Italian restaurant, followed closely by the steakhouse and the Mexican restaurant. However, securing reservations was a bit of a challenge, which was frustrating at times.
One of our biggest concerns before arriving was food safety, especially after seeing numerous reviews about illnesses at many Mexican resorts.
Thankfully, not a single one of us got sick, which was a huge relief. That said, we did notice some staff using the same tongs for raw and cooked meat on the grill, which was concerning.
We also enjoyed nightly entertainment watching some highly skilled acrobatics!
Overall, the resort provided an amazing experience for our large family, and we would absolutely return. With a few improvements in the reservation system and food handling practices, this place would be perfect!"
"Hotel location is very convenient. We got to the airport at night, called the hotel and were picked up within 20 min. Breakfast is a buffet and it’s good, several options available. The morning shuttle to the airport was 10-15 min delayed but it wasn’t a problem for us. Overall, recommended for staying overnight and catch an early flight."
"My flight was delayed and changed multiple times, so I chose a hotel near the airport at the last minute.
The free airport shuttle was a plus. The hotel was new, and the breakfast was okay, though not very varied.
The only downside was that the hotel was so new and still had a smell of renovation."
"Quite basic and nothing special... The only advantage is the location very close to the Airport.... The worst part was when the service manager started arguing with me (guest) for not wanting to give me bottled water... Wow, how miserable it is, anywhere in the world they give you water to drink without so much drama!!!"
"Haven’s beaches, location, and staff were amazing. Considering the price, we expected to not have the typical watered down alcohol/ meh food all inclusive experience, which unfortunately proved to be the case. You couldn’t get a buzz from the drinks unless you were injecting it straight into your veins. The only great restaurant was the Italian one. The coffee shop was also fantastic. The pools were beautiful, and there were always beach and pool beds available. The staff are very warm and friendly. Our jacuzzi never worked correctly and it turned out that you had to turn on the outside lights to get it to work, which we were never told. The nightly activities and the club are a bit cheesy, but the staff is doing the best they can. Big shoutouts to Pamela, Alfredo, Eli, and John, who were absolutely too notch staff. The rooms are beautiful and the rain shower is amazing! I think the overall value for experience is overpriced based on the food and beverages."
"It is a nature-friendly place. While riding a bike around the hotel, I was able to meet various animals such as coatis, lizards, and iguanas. The beach right in front is beautiful, and there are many restaurants that serve delicious food, so I was happy while staying at the hotel."
"Be aware of this scam. Compare picture they posted on the official website and what we had ( pictures are added ). This is not at all what you would expect .Super dirty place with dim light in the room.. scary .. On the top of this they charge you more for the airport shuttle as it was discussed . I saved our conversation about the fee, agreed to it. The taxi came and charged us different price , after that hotel doesn’t respond.. I hope trip.com will take care of refund as they really good at customer support."
"This will be the fourth time I have stayed at this hotel and I will say that it's getting old. The resort has five pools that were all hot. The surrounding beach in the area is 20 ft deep and seaweed and you can't enter the water. Also if you can imagine the hotel makes you check out at 10:00 a.m. which screwed up my sleeping pattern for the day of checkout. What hotel makes you check out at 10:00 a.m.? By the way check in time isn't until 4:00. So if you're staying for one day you only get 18 hours of hotel. Some of the rooms are redone and some of the rooms have got the original flooring from when I stay there the first time around 25 years ago. My room had the original flooring. The first room that reception gave me was on the first floor at the absolute end of the resort. The room was run down and the floor looked like it was buckling a little . The second room reception gave me had a foul odor. Food and drinks at this hotel are extremely expensive. I want to say that a margarita is around 13 to 17 US dollars give me a break. Do not order an a la carte breakfast there because they pick it off the buffet and it's going to be cold. I want to say breakfast is 550 pesos a person. Breakfast was fine but nothing special. They don't offer cappuccino or lattes as a courtesy for breakfast. By the way it takes reception around 15 minutes per customer to check you in. I have stayed at this resort a total of four times and I would not go back. The beach is infested with seaweed farther than the eye can see there's no place swimmable by this resort. I would say it was quite disappointing. By the way they have a little market in the resort and a $6 bottle of champagne in Los Angeles cost $53 in their ghastly overpriced market. Very bad value for money. My third room was acceptable. I do have to say I think the rooms are big and the gentleman that checked me on did give me an upgrade to a balcony on the lagoon side so that was something. I paid a round $140 USD a night with tax and really it was a 85 US dollar hotel at best. It doesn't meet Westin standards. There was also an area with a little chip paint in my room but I'm probably being somewhat nitpicky. The light in the room is also not very bright and made it somewhat hard to read."
