I book kingsley hotel miri ,after I check in I go to my room and I saw inside hotel mat very dirty and smelly I thought inside room should be ok what I saw in website but once I enter my room inside too much smelly than outside room even u can’t stand for couple of minute,I complaint to reception than they bring me to other room and there also same thing I don’t want to stand anymore there ,I go counter and asked them for check out but they told me we can’t refund you any money,if anyone plan to stay here please don’t ever stay here otherwise you will just waste your money on this hotel.

It all depends at what price you got this hotel for. I got it under 40 dollars so no complaints in general . The hotel is very near to Canada Hill. The hotel has seen better days. Decent room with tv but no channels . No fridge. The Bath room has a washbasin and shower in the bath tub but no tap. There is no Comod shower which is a common thing in Asian hotels usually. Biggest problem is there are no good place to eat nearby . You have to walk at least 800 meters to get a food court . There are 2 convenience store bang opposite the hotel. The hotel staff is very poorly trained they have no idea about the neighbourhood and local sightseeing attractions. Do visit Coco Cabana and Canada Hill for view .

Though the location of the Hotel is on the highway road side, is not directly accessible for driving. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. There eateries located in the same building, from Western food to Asian cuisine food court. There is a twenty four hour dobi, a car wash and a convenient store. Very convenient for family or business travelers.

I suggest the basement should reserve for the guest not only for long stay guest. It made a very inconvenient to us as no enough parking space and have to park very far away. Cleaning have to do everyday without any demand although I put notice to cleaning but no one turn up. The building a little bit noisy as the persons around like to pull the chair around

It was a 1hr drive from Miri city to the resort. The condition of Miri-Bintulu road was very challenging as its under major maintenance. We basically on 50km/hr. The resort is a good place for family get together esp when we have limited access to the internet & calls. There are a lot of physical activities you can do there in a group or solo. The resort tour included in the stay is a great exposure for kids to understand rainforest eco system.

AAyla_KosmonovaThis little hotel served my purpose very well...initially booked 2 nights just to try it out but was satisfied with everything hence extended to 2 weeks stay lol (travel restriction due to COVID). Strategically located at Jalan Brooke, very easy to spot. Have their own convenient store at the lobby. Otherwise other 24hr mini mart also available behind the hotel. Places to eat & shop within 10 mins of walking distance. Single room is spacious compared to other inns/hotels within the same league. Daily housekeeping provided (cleanliness assured). Floor to ceiling windows provided natural lighting (very important otherwise it would be depressing). Internet connection most of the time quite fast, sometimes lag especially during night time. This is now my new port in Miri.

GGuest UserVery comfortable beds but the rooms are tight. We stayed in a deluxe family room which had two queen beds that didn’t leave much room for much else. We had a tv on the wall between the beds and really didn’t want for much else. The desk and chair was small, a small bar fridge and a separate glass privacy area for a shower and loo. I must admit I loved the generosity of the shower😂. Only draw back was the parking is voucher parking out the front and parking inspection was bang on 8am where we received a parking ticket.

GGuest UserMy partner and I love the hotel/apartment reception, you feel like you are at home when you are away from home. The apartments are simple but have kitchenware, microwave facilities and a small fridge. The price of the room is reasonable and acceptable for a serviced apartment. It takes only 5 minutes to drive to Miri City from the apartment/hotel. A shopping mall (Merdeka Mall) is right next to the hotel/apartment, and there are many halal foods in the mall.

It is always expected that the Staff provides good service for the customers as hotels are a part of the hospitality industry, so personally, I think it is important to point out clearly about this matter. Make sure to include all the negative aspects of the service in your review, if any.

GGuest UserTime square is a good location at Miri center. Apartment is clean and quiet. I'm not too happy with the subpar service of the rental agency. Not my first time renting a place managed by them. Consistently so far, agent managing any of the unit managed by Evernet has never been proactive to send me my check in details 1 day before check in. All in all had to contact them 4-5 times in 24 hours to finally get all the information I need to get to the right apartment unit. If you want better service at the same area of Miri town, stay at a hotel like Pullman (prompt service/at least they let you know they will take awhile if its peak timeframe). If you want better value for money, you probably be happier with services from other operators. There is no shortage of choices in Miri. Apartment rating: 4 star. Agency rating: 0 star.

The parking space in front of the block was obstructed with flower pots and it is quite hard to maneuver car to do reverse parking in rainy nights that i experienced. The entrance was on higher ground and need to go up staircase to go to my room. The room kinda okay just the bathroom was abit dirty and smells moldy. The bed sheets smells okay. Aircon was super cold. TV also functioning well.

The Grand Old Lady - Canada Hill
千千山任我行Miri is a coastal city, with Canada Mountain to the east. The mountain is not very high, and there is a rebuilt No. 1 oil well on the top of the mountain. There is an observation deck where you can look up at the city of Miri, and it is also the best place to watch the sunset.
