NHHotel Schiphol Airport, this was my first time staying there for 1 week. I was kindly upgraded to a better room as I was celebrating my birthday. The staff were friendly. The hotel inside and out looks amazing. I enjoyed eating breakfast every day in the Green room restaurant as it looked like a botanical garden. The food choices were plenty. I loved the hotel shuttle bus service as it was a comfortable 7 minute ride to the airport. A good way to start exploring Amsterdam. The pool and jacuzzi area looked lovely and welcoming but unfortunately it was very busy with other guests and I never got to experience it. Well maybe next time.

The hotel near airport has free shuttle bus -orange bus Bastion but one bus goes to another Bastion hotel and then from this hotel second bus to Hoofdorp. We were at 14.40 in the reception but our room, and other people wasn't ready. Should be at 14.00. We waited 20 min. The room was ok, very small, with fridge and coffee machine. There isn't restaurants near the hotel, about 15 min from hotel is Papa's Beach Restaurant, near the lake, nice view, good food.

It is located about 10 minutes by bus from the airport, it really is very good if you don't want to pay a money in the centre of Amsterdam, but that's what, if you want to go to the centre you'll have to go back to the airport and there you'll have to make the transfer to the centre, But if you're going with time, it's worth staying in this apartment hotel. The room itself is fine, it is not big too, but it has a mini-kit (with all cooking tools, and cleaning kits), the perfect bed, or perhaps we were so tired of the trip that we seemed that, because we sleep in glory. The hotel was very clean and very clean. Our room had no balcony but the window was opened. To make 2/3 nights is perfect, very recommended. The hotel is just in front of the bus stop, and it takes every half an hour, so another point in favour of saying is a very quiet area surrounded by green gardens.

Frontdesk female at check in 19:45 seemed a bit annoyed by something and very busy. Got two room cards, but apparently non of them were working. Got two new cards again and at least one was working. Elevator needed card access and also a door before the corridor before room needed access card, first time seen this. Safety ++ Room was Okey more or less. Mirror in room was badly broken. Sliding window not possible to lock, push pin broken. Room AC fan had a very annoying sound, but that I can easily live with. Bathroom was very good and large. TV, very good international selection to choose from. WIFI was 30-40 Mbit so easy to stream all possible media. Due to early check-out 05:30 then hotel was able to provide a early morning breakfast pickup bag @ 05:00. That was a very nice breakfast option to provide, does require a frontdesk request before 24:00. Generally a good average hotel for business travellers. Also free frequent shuttle transport from/to airport.

The hotel was a little far out, away from food establishments and other shops, but my stay there was bliss of course. I managed to order takeaway and they have a mini 24/7 market near reception so I got my necessary goodies. You have to pay for the airport shuttle which is a little bizarre but it was a comfortable ride. It is Marriott, can’t go wrong with this one.

The hotel is decorated in an industrial style (which I personally don't like very much). The hotel feels relatively young and fashionable, and it feels like most of the people coming and going are young people. The room is not big, and the bathroom and toilet are separated from wet and dry areas. Parking charges

With a 7 am flight, I booked the Moxy for a night. I had stayed at other Moxy properties so I knew what to expect. The shuttle from the airport was a bit confusing. You have to look for the NH hotel shuttle which also does Moxy. I got lucky as it arrived when I got there. Ordering drinks and food is an ordeal. You have order and they punch everything in and sign. It took a long time t process each order. The food took almost 45 min. I wanted another glass of wine but didn’t want to wait in line and pay / sign for it each time. So took the food to the room and ate there. In the morning, the shuttle does not run till 5:45 am, so I tried and Uber. No luck. A nice guest offered to give me a ride in the can she ordered. That was very kind. When we got to the airport, the driver said that I also have to pay as they do it by number of room and that is the rule / policy of the hotel. That didn’t sound right so I refused to pay told the driver to have the hotel contact me resolve and headed for my flight. Not the best experience leaving the hotel. The 3 star rating is because of the food / Bev process and the set up “arrangement” for taxi.

The room is not provide a refrigerator, napkin, body lotion, shower cap. Location is very convenience to central Amsterdam.
