A good hotel, in a town I would never have expected it. Clean and spacious rooms, overall quite despite being at the town square (our room at least). Addition to that, employees friendly and helpfull. We booked a combination with restaurant De Ooievaar for an overall fair rate. The restaurant is really good, the 5 course surprise menu is highly recommended! We will return, a place to remember!

We booked a room for 1 night travelling down from north Holland going back to Belgium. The picture used to advertise this place gives the impression of a hotel in an oasis of green and water when in fact itโs perched in an industrial estate, on main roads and a roundabout. Itโs not a hotel but a motel that has in reality no special features, lobby area, apart bar or amenities. It is a modern collection of 2 buildings with a car park in between them, how it gets a 4 star rating is beyond me. We ate in the restaurant and that was good, with excellent staff service, good value for money. The breakfast was decent but the โcooked foodโ abysmal, we arrived at 08.45, the scrambled egg has rubberized by then, the bacon getting cold and hard and heavens knows what happened to the fried eggs? The bedrooms are large but dark, brown walls, dark gray furniture and little natural light. The bed was very, very comfortable and we slept well. Bathroom also large, with an excellent shower. Something for everyone could be found on the TV. This place is good for arriving in the evening, eating in (or not) sleeping and departing and probably not much more. Have to say the staff we excellent and well motivated but it was very expensive and not worth the money we paid.

The price-performance ratio is already unassored. We were there 5 nights for โฌ 250 per night. Very screened, nicely furnished rooms. No telephone, no minibar, no water cooker, no safe, not the smallest rays of luxury. There were hardly television programmes. Breakfast buffet is very spartanian. Also Saturday or Sunday no change to everyday. Each day the same, always the same 3 unprecedented sausage, no salmon, fish salad or even small kitchen, nothing ! To be quiet of the cleanliness. It was definitely not cleaned for 6 days, only the beds were perfectly directed. What is called towels there, I take home as cleaning laps. We were very disappointed and will not enter this hotel anymore. The damage about the โฌ1250 that we would like to pay if the counterpart is true. We always travel in this price category, but we have never been so disappointed !

My girlfriend and me visited the hotel for 4 days in June 24. The hotel is located close to the center of Hoorn. By car it takes you only 5 minutes, by bike 20 minutes. There is a lot of parking space. The room was clean and calm. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast very good and rich of a variety of bread, fresh fruits etc.... Itยดs the ideal place to stay for a few days in Hoorn

On 16 and 17 February, I was here with my wife for two nights, this hotel has 4 stars, a mystery of where they have them. The room (which was in a building on the side of the main building) was small, poorly maintained, not well cleaned and obeyed. There is a folder on the room about a kind of cousin guarantee and service with different types of cousins, but if you ask for it, the staff will not understand what this folder does on the rooms. All kinds of kisses they have already been on the bed, and this bed is on the gentle side, so I will come out with my back the next morning. The drink card contains a lot of different beer types but only 2 are available. Also from breakfast you should not imagine too much, it is a running buffet with a few breads and breads, egg, spoon 2 types of cheese, 3 types of meat bag and a few cucumbers of pineapple cheese and jam. You must be in the row for a cup of coffee and often stand in the row to wait 5 minutes before your turn. However, it must be said that the staff is very friendly, helpful and understandable. The staff is the only one that meets the number of stars, and my question is: Who gives those stars? I think it can't even be able to be in the better regions for three stars, but four stars are still left. The main building looks good outside, but it remains an old building with a lot of maintenance.
