Location is excellent — just 5 minutes to the train station and light rail (airport connection), and about 10 minutes’ walk to the main Bergen tourist area. Several minimarkets are within 2 minutes’ walk. Room is compact but practical, and overall very convenient for exploring Bergen."

"The location is excellent, just 240 meters from the Avis downtown car rental, making it ideal for anyone planning to pick up a rental car. The rooms are modern and spacious, and the heated bathroom is a fantastic feature! Check-in is self-service with no staff at the front desk. However, I encountered a small issue upon arrival, and I'm incredibly grateful to a tall male hotel staff member for his enthusiastic assistance. The service was truly five-star, and I will absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Bergen."

"I had a very satisfying stay here, with a rich breakfast and excellent service. Location: It's near Bergen Central Station, with moderate distances to major transportation and attractions. If you exit the north side gate of the central station, it's right in front of you. The south side of the station is for the airport light rail. It's about a ten-minute walk to the bus terminal, and only fifteen to twenty minutes on foot to the cruise port. All transportation is very convenient. Cleanliness: You generally don't need to worry about cleanliness in Nordic countries, and the room was very clean. However, please note that room cleaning is on request, and you need to inform the front desk a day in advance. Also, trash needs to be taken to the front desk yourself or you can ask them to clear it. A slight inconvenience. Environment: The room size was decent, much more comfortable than what you'd find in Japan. However, in October, the room temperature was a bit cold, and it rains a lot in Bergen, so I had to ask staff for an electric heater. (P.S.: The panel in the room is not for air conditioning or heating; it's just a temperature monitor). Also worth mentioning is the breakfast; it was incredibly abundant, and the variety was good. You could eat different things for two days without repetition. In Norway, this breakfast was the best meal I had every day 😂. If you're catching a flight, you can ask the kitchen to prepare a takeaway, but it's limited to one sandwich and one apple. Service: Very thoughtful and attentive. The front desk is 24/7 and they were very responsive to all requests. Full marks for service! Other: Downstairs from the hotel is a restaurant and bar, which seemed to be packed every night. Worth trying if you get the chance."

"A small hotel, everything is small! There is no waiter service, you need self-service. If you need waiter service, you must avoid this hotel, you will live for a penny! The city is quiet and tidy"

"The hotel boasts a fantastic location, right next to a Nio car dealership and just outside the fish market. Bryggen is only a few minutes' walk away, making it incredibly convenient. We even had a direct view of the landmark Bryggen from our room window. Parking is available in a large lot just a couple of blocks away, offering plenty of spaces, including many for electric vehicle charging. I'd recommend using the EasyPark app, which allows you to set and adjust your parking duration conveniently from anywhere. Our room size was decent, though the amenities were quite basic. I also noticed a higher proportion of female staff. On our check-in day, a weekend, we found the sliding window in our room wouldn't close. The lovely lady at the front desk explained that maintenance staff were off on weekends but kindly offered to try and fix it. She couldn't, but fortunately, I managed to tinker with it and get it working myself. Breakfast was relatively generous. They were quite punctual about clearing everything away at closing time – perhaps a bit eager to finish their shift. We had booked for two nights. However, on our first night, we were on a road trip and unfortunately missed the last ferry due to misjudging our time. The hotel refused to refund the cost of the first night, so we ended up checking in only on the second morning. Shower gel and shampoo are provided in the room, but remember to bring your own slippers and toothpaste. The shower enclosure is quite simple, so be mindful when showering (as water might splash out)."

"Fantastic hotel, friendly staff, modern, clean, and spacious room, comfortable bed and good shower. The breakfast has a great variety of options, the potatoes in particular were amazing! (I need to learn the receipe for how they cooked them!) Gave plenty of energy for exploring Bergen, the fjords, and the mountains, made even easier due to the hotels brilliant location right near the waterfront. Would definitely stay here again."

"We visited the bohemian in December, we thought that an elevator was available in the building and were disappointed it wasn’t. The staff however solved the problem immediately by carrying our luggage upstairs. The room is more than satisfying: very beautifully decorated and has all the facilities you need. Just a proposal for the bookings through other sites: people don’t get all the information to check in, maybe there is a better communication plan needed.."

"The hotel is about a 20-25 minute walk from the train station. The room was clean, though quite small. The view from the entrance was pleasant, and it's only a few minutes' walk to Tram Line 1, making it convenient for airport access. However, the earliest Tram Line 1 service isn't until 5:50 AM. I had booked the room at a slightly higher price, and later found a lower rate on Ctrip. When I tried to inquire about a price adjustment for the difference, the hotel was completely unreasonable and quite unhelpful. It's located next to a local neighborhood with a supermarket, but it closes early. A minor drawback is that if you get hungry late at night, the hotel lobby doesn't sell any food."

"Just near by the Bergen station is so convenient to us to catch the light train. And the room is so big and comfortable that can open two big size suitcases and still have enough room for walking. There are free coffee and tea in the first floor and that help to fill up hot water. The reception are all friendly."

However, it is quite far from the airport. Taking a taxi is quite expensive. Four people per car Calculated, the fare is about 800 yuan. There is an airport bus that can take you out of the city center. The fare is 220 yuan per person, which is surprisingly expensive. The breakfast is rich and the food is of good quality. In this super expensive city, the price of this hotel is reasonable. Reasonable!"
