First of all I would like to thank each of the staff for their wonderful hospitality And especially our hostess Sajana . Sangita and Sabin were very good too. The food at sesame is very very good. Rotis are very good. Daal and fulka were outstanding. Thanks to the whole Sesame team.
Stayed for a few days, looks like this hotel just had a renovation ( everything) is new and clean
The staff was very help full and friendly
The room which i stayed in was perfectly clean and new bedsheets and towels were provided it also had a balcony;)
City centre is like 35 min walking and by car/bike 10min.
Will definitely book this hotel again when i visit Kathmandu.
Staff were helpful. We were greeted with pinapple joice upon arrival. We had a nice room with an outlook over the neighbouring buildings and garden. The included breakfast buffet was great as was dinner/lunch on the Roof Terrace. Comfortable bed.

Life is about the good people you meet along the way, The Boudha Inn family took me in, provided a hospitality above and beyond, a great place to hang my hat. The inn has comfortable accommodations, banana pancakes to die for, I did yoga on the roof and is close to everything I enjoy about Katmandu. The community leader superhero owner may need your patience, he and family are there for you, embrace your reality...smile and practice kindness. Soulful stay in Boudha Stupa
The location of the hotel is very close to the Great Buddha Pagoda. It is very convenient for transportation, eating and sightseeing. The hotel is very clean and the equipment is not old. This kind of charge is more cost-effective in Canada. The most appreciated is the restaurant/bar attached to the hotel. The food is above average. We stayed for almost a week and it was very comfortable

This is a hotel with a nice view of the Himalaya peaks on a good day with breakfast and a good day with a view of the Stupa on the roof of the hotel in the morning. Right in front of Stupa. The location is very good for 30 seconds walk and it is also a good memory to wake up at dawn and participate in the procession of praying around the stupa.
The hotel service was solved immediately and the manager had experience working in Korea, so I was able to stay more comfortable because I was fluent in Korean.
Nepal has not many air conditioned rooms, so check when booking.
I stayed in a room with air conditioning for 6 days and it was very comfortable.
There was a living room and the bathroom was spacious, so I felt like staying in a small apartment.
Good location, convenient service at an affordable price. It was a very good hostel including breakfast
Friendly and excellent hosts who know how to cook! We stayed two separate times on our journey through Nagarkot and the Chisapani National Forest. I Enjoyed the entertainment projector screen while watching the top telecasted cricket game of the night and eating delicious ******* foods!
We had to wait 3 years to stay at this hotel which we first visited back then for a cup of coffee and fell in love with its look, location and ambiance. It more than lived up to our expectations when we finally got back this year, and were able to stay. We had room 301 which is up at the level of a roof terrace, with fascinating views across Kathmandu and the locality directly round the hotel. The room and bathroom were clean, well equipped and comfortable. The decor of the hotel itself is stunning, echoing the monastery next door. Each day's breakfast was excellent, offering a variety of hot and cold foods. But what really makes this hotel even more delightful is the friendliness, welcome, and efficiency of the staff who are unfailingly polite and helpful, and never miss greeting you when you go out, or come back. Being so near Boudhanath Stupa, the hotel is an excellent base from which to explore the whole Boudha area which offers a fascinating mix of traditional and modern shops and businesses, as well as a number of monasteries which are well worth visiting. On a very practical level, but extraordinarily useful, there is a clothes line on the roof of the hotel where you can hang any washing to dry.

LLita DitaNice and friendly staff, great location just 7 minutes walk from Boudha Stupa.
GGuest UserWe had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional hotel for a total of 6 nights, and we couldn't be more thrilled with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff displayed an authentic and warm hospitality that made us feel truly at home. Their genuine friendliness and willingness to assist with every request went above and beyond our expectations.
One of the highlights of our stay was the remarkable cleanliness and tranquility of our room. It was evident that great care was taken to ensure a pristine environment, allowing us to relax and unwind in utmost comfort. The icing on the cake was the superb internet reception, which allowed us to stay connected seamlessly throughout our stay.
Our stay was punctuated by delightful mornings indulging in an exquisite breakfast spread. The puri or chapati and curry quickly became our favorites, perfectly complemented by the aromatic masala tea and the flavorful masala omelette – a true culinary delight!
The hotel's al fresco dining experience was an absolute treat. The ambiance was charming, and the food left an indelible mark on our taste buds. With each meal, we explored a plethora of different dishes, each more tantalizing than the last. It's safe to say that the culinary offerings exceeded our expectations in every way.
A noteworthy mention is the hotel's convenient proximity to Boudha Stupa, a mere 10-minute walk away. This made our visits to the stupa incredibly convenient and allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in its serene atmosphere.
What sets this hotel apart is not only its remarkable amenities and services but also the unique opportunity it offers. The daily free yoga and meditation sessions held within the monastery on the premises are truly transformative. We highly recommend inquiring about the schedule from the attentive hotel staff – it's an experience that added immeasurable value to our stay.
In summary, our time at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of attentive staff, immaculate rooms, delectable cuisine, and the added touch of free yoga and meditation sessions make this hotel a standout choice for anyone seeking a memorable stay near Boudha Stupa. We wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to fellow travelers looking for an unforgettable experience.
Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay truly remarkable – we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to return!
Tip: Indulge in delightful puri & curry breakfast, relish al fresco dining, rejuvenate with free daily yoga. A tranquil oasis near Boudha Stupa.
GGuest UserThis hotel is fantastic. It is clean, accommodating, and in a great location. It is within a 2 minute walk from the Boudha Stupa (the area where they shot some clips for Marvel's Dr. Strange). Because of that you will find lots of restaurants, shops, and coffee houses (try the Himalayan Java Restaurant). But the best part of the trip was interacting with the hotel owners. They were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were quick with a nice cup of tea or coffee and enjoyed making conversation. I learned a great deal about Nepal from them! Several times they arranged taxi's for us, being willing to communicate with the taxi drivers. The breakfast was delicious (eggs, toast, potatoes, fruit, and beans). I don't know why anyone would stay anywhere else when visiting Kathmandu!
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is relatively close to the Wishing Tower, and it is an Indian hotel chain. Sanitation is pretty good overall. I have lived here for nearly ten days. There are less choices for breakfast. It is suggested that the hotel should enrich the type of breakfast.
GGuest UserI first stayed at Bodhi Guest House when I first visited Kathmandu in 2020. I chose this hotel first because of the name than then due to it's location near Boudhanath Stupa. This year when I went back to Kathmandu, I stay my entire 16 days at the Bodhi Guest House. My first experience made a lasting impression and brought me back. This place feels like home. The rooms are simple and clean and the wifi is stable and quite strong. The food is great quality, the courtyard is calm and quiet, and the staff are just so kind and helpful. They went out of their way to help me visit a far away and not so well known Buddhist cave. The Bodhi Guest House is honest, authentic, and comforting place to be. I will return in 2023!
663449050Very friendly service at front desk. The best feature of this hotel is the lovely well maintained tranquil garden situated in the center of the building. It was a pleasure to sip a capuccino from the cafe situated next to the garden. Unbelievable for us having not visited Kathmandu in 20 years the arrival of good coffee A very short and interesting walk takes you to the bustle and noise of the Stupa. The room was adequate but like many rooms at this price point the only place to sit was on the bed. Our room had A/C but fortunately did not need it. The bathroom was clean but hot water only came intermittently during our stay. Management were helpful and always tried to fix the problem. Wifi likewise was a bit hit and miss. Sheets were were on the thin side but typical of hotels at this price point in Asia. Overall would recommend.
PPattyR7I stayed three days in this small hotel located in front of the Stupa Boudhanath located in a great location to live from the morning until late night the spirituality that breathes around the Stupa I liked to get up very soon and admire the Stupend still desert during breakfast served on the terrace clean bathroom with clean handcuffs and hot water personal gentle Wi-Fi free and fast recommendation to book with a large advance not suitable for numerous groups Lo Council
GGuest UserThe hotel is not big, the environment is quiet, the Tara statue in the lobby makes us feel safe and friendly, the room is clean and tidy, and I would like to praise the hotel guy, who is warm and hospitable, considerate of customers, and tries to meet all requirements. Our group of 6 people are very satisfied.
Warm reminder: You need to bring your own toiletries, and there is a lack of hot water for washing.
GGuest UserAbout 8 minutes walk from Buddha Stupa खास्ति चैत्य
Sound insulation is not good. Living on the first floor, I clearly heard the phone ringing at the front desk outside and the conversation. The sandy windows in the bathing location are connected to the public balcony. ... The storage water heater is only enough to wash the hair once. The waiter is so enthusiastic. A little over. The summary is not recommended.
