I have been closed to this resort for a long time, and I finally have the opportunity to visit this time. A resort of about 3,000 acres is surrounded by snowy mountains, the scenery is pleasant, and the architecture is Japanese and Western style. There are large golf courses, and those who want to relax are worth visiting. It would be great if there is a Chinese food service.
We spent 2 nights at the Arrowtown House Boutique Hotel and loved our stay. The outside is well kept and very quaint. The room was beautifully arranged and had every amenity one would desire. The wine and cheese were a wonderful welcome. The bed was super comfy and the washer (with complementary soap powder) and dryer in the large bathroom were a luxury we enjoyed to refresh our clothes along the way. Breakfast was delicious and promptly served by a lovely local woman with plenty of useful suggestions for activities. I highly recommend staying at the Arrowtown Boutique to enhance your visit..
A comfy pub with a spacious dining room and North facing balcony, this unpretentious hotel serves good country fare. The roast lamb was so soft and generous in size with Harvey mint sauce and all the trimmings. Staff are great and a range of local wines and beers are served. A good option when you are “over” restaurant food

A large motel, the hotel grounds are a large park. There is a large lawn and a rugby field. very quiet. We live in a separate area. The room is not big and can accommodate 2-3 people. There is a public kitchen, which is large and cooking is no problem. There are dedicated public toilets and bathrooms, only hotel guests have keys, one minute's walk from the room. There is a medium-sized supermarket 5 minutes' walk away. It is a 10-minute walk from the town center, less than 20 kilometers from Queenstown, and a 20-minute drive. Compared with the same housing price in Queenstown, it is half cheaper.
Very quiet and meticulously maintained motel in a residential neighborhood of Arrowtown but only several minutes from city centre of Arrowtown and 20 minutes from the expense and congestion of Queenstown. For us, this site was the way to go and we are glad we chose this lodging. There were plenty of places to eat in Arrowtown, and still enjoy what there was to offer in the Queenstown region.
Just realised I forgot to give a review last year . We stayed at Settlers for a few days at the beginning and end of our holiday last year and have stayed at this excellent motel before . It offers a lovely spacious and relaxing place to unwind . There are many homely touches . The owners are friendly, engaging and endeavour to make everyone’s stay thoroughly enjoyable. We are cat lovers so particularly enjoyed the visits of Charlie their cat. We have every intention of staying at Settlers when next in Arrowtown.
The hotel's facilities and environment are very good. The only thing that makes me angry is that when we checked in, the waiter asked us where we were from. The answer was China. The service attitude suddenly became bad, the smile disappeared, and the room we were given was in the corner with obstructed view.

What a beautiful location, we had a large family trip to Queenstown for the weekend & had the entire lodge to ourselves and it was absolutely perfect!! We didn’t want to leave, the owners were friendly & accomodating, it was so lovely and warm, fantastic spa, comfortable beds & the grounds were just stunning!! The main house was awesome for all of our family gatherings over the weekend with the pool table & roaring fire it was so lovely! The only small thing I would change would be an update of some of the furniture, we stayed in the large studio & the couches were a bit out of place looking in such a stunning location! With a little bit of an update here and there it would be PERFECT! But it was such a fantastic stay that, that was such a minor detail. Thank you so much couldn’t recommend this place enough!
We hoped for a special getaway for our 25th anniversary and this place exceeded our expectations. Our villa was private, luxurious and so cosy during our winter trip. The lodge was impressive- amazing restaurant, hot tub and sauna with views, day spa and wonderful winery. But the service was next level. The friendliest and most considerate staff. Made our stay so special:

Arrowtown
Ggpc_mybaby[View] The scenery by the lake is very good, the trees are mottled in the sun, the snow-capped mountains in the distance, the undulating streets, the small shops on both sides of the street, very life atmosphere. [Cost-effective] A place worth seeing
Buckingham Street
王王海娃子Buckingham Street in Arrow Town is a traditional British name. Retro streets and buildings seem to travel through time and space again, returning to the hot gold rush a hundred years ago.
Historic Arrowtown Chinese Settlement
DD了个YAn early Chinese worker's settlement in Arrow Town, New Zealand, called the Gold Rush, was in the middle of the last century when a European found gold by the Arrow River, and a large number of gold miners poured in to build the town by the Arrow River, and four years later Chinese laborers continued. Come here to join the gold rush and establish independent settlements, which is now the Chinese settlements we see, most of the Chinese workers were alone, adhering to the spirit of Chinese people not afraid of suffering, not afraid of tiredness, and adhering to their nationalities, naturally forming a self-sufficiency. By the 1870s, there were about 5,000 Chinese workers living in the Otago area in southern New Zealand. I thought New Zealand was a natural landscape country looking at the scenery. I didn’t expect that under such a beautiful environment, there was such a pity. The historical remains can't help but feel a lot
Lakes District Museum & Gallery
王王海娃子The museum is a local cultural history explanation center. In addition to the history of the Maori people, it spent a lot of pen and ink to tell the local gold rush scene, and the bitter life of Chinese workers!
Arrow River
旅旅の径Arrow River, the mother river of Arrow Town, gave birth to the formation of Arrow Town and recorded its rise and fall.
As gold diggers found the first piece of gold in the Arrow River Basin in the 1760s, Arrow River gradually became one of the rivers with the most abundant gold in the world. A large number of gold diggers flocked here and settled here, named the settlement after the river, and Arrow Town was established, which gradually prospered.
The depletion of gold sand and the fading of gold rush left behind the declining Arrow Town and the Arrow River with severe ecological damage.
Until the rise of tourism fever, the restoration of vegetation and protection of ecology, Arrow River has today's charming scenery, with gurgling water, clear bottom, dense trees and blooming flowers.
When visiting Arrow Town, you must go to the Arrow River on the north side of the town, walk along the river trail, and stroll in the Citizen Park. The beautiful scenery will bring you peace of mind.
