"The hotel room was very clean, with a daily supply of water, coffee and tea. Breakfast was also great with a wide range of choices. The best part was the amazing rooftop swimming pool. Super cool! Very kind and helpful staff 😊"
"Good option if you have a long layover. However please take note that you’ll have to go through the security check (throw all your liquids even though you only just landed and transit from another plane).
The hotel room is nice but extremely COLD (cannot change the aircond temperature as it is centralised) bring your jacket if needed. The counter staff was not as friendly with no proper greeting no smile. Could have been better if they had a basic customer service attitude. Overall stay was okay but will not come again for the longer layover in this hotel ."
"The hotel offers a convenient and comfortable stay for travellers, with rooms that ate modern, clean and equipped with essential amenities for a restful night. Its proximity to the airport is ideal for layovers or early flights, and the service is friendly and efficient, making it a practical choice for a short stay in Muscat."
"We had a great stay, location is good when you have a rental car to drive to close places. They have good restaurants nearby which are walkable. Staff is really friendly. Big plus: They have a free public washing room for hotel guests including dryer, just make sure to have or buy some detergent."
"From checking in to checking out it was faultless.
Brilliant hotel, great facilities, great food and awesome customer service!
Room was perfect
Gym was perfect
Pool was perfect
Breakfast was amazing
Coffee bar/ reception area and outside sitting area fantastic.
Also 2 fantastic restaurants outside but attached to the hotel and 4 brilliant coffee shops one of which is a Starbucks and the only one I didn’t visit.
Without doubt I’d stay here again. 10/10 especially for what I paid."
"This was a great hotel APART from the very strong air freshener used inside the rooms, which was so strong I could taste it in my mouth! The kind hotel actually used the ozone machine to suck the air out of a room for me but it hardly made any difference. I stayed over a week and it took about 4 days for the smell to wear off. I would suggest not using such an overpowering smell in the rooms as surely it must be uncomfortable for many guests.
But the food was great, staff were great, rooftop and pool -- I would certainly recommend if you don't mind very intense air freshener!"
"Everything is great. Not far from the airport. I stayed here because it is located near the train station, from which you can go to Nizwa. For the money, it's a great option. McDonald's and a bunch of cafes are nearby."
"I stayed at Ibis Muscat for a few days and overall had a very comfortable experience. The hotel was clean, and the staff were polite and attentive.
The location is not ideal if you want to be close to the beach, but there is a small supermarket about a five-minute walk away, which was convenient for buying daily necessities and drinks.
Overall, I think the hotel offers good value for money and is a reliable choice for a pleasant stay."
"For some reason, the hotel's name is different in Japanese, but the correct name is ”Golden Tulip Muscat.”
It's about a 15-minute taxi ride from the airport, and less than 500 meters away are two large shopping malls, Oman Avenues Mall and Muscat Grand Mall.
However, there are so many cars whizzing by that it's impossible to walk. You'll need to take a taxi, although it's not a big deal.
The taxis were easy to call using Otaxi, as the location was easy to find. Access to Azaiba Bus Station, Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Matrazikh Mosque, and Old Muscat was also good.
The view from the elevator at the entrance is great. There is mold in the shower area of the room, but it's not a problem."
"Good location very close to lots of good one rial shopping Dragon Gift Center Rial Souw plaza and great food and supermarket close by - Azaiba area.. A1 bus from airport gets here in no time"

Amazing
AAviniaThe local staff were great but the waiters at the restaurant were arrogant and unfriendly. I watched them mock our complaint to their colleagues. Otherwise, things were clean and nice with a great big breakfast spread. Mangers were friendly and helpful.
CChangzhoutingdingruchangThe Novotel generally had a decent atmosphere, and the breakfast buffet was quite extensive. However, they don't offer valet parking, and the hotel's WiFi was really poor – internet access was very slow and difficult to connect to.
DDylan_MI would rate my stay at the Mysk Al Mouj Hotel a 7/10. The property is overall good, with a convenient location and a solid breakfast offering. However, there are certain areas that could be improved, which prevented me from giving it a higher score. The pool is a bit small for a hotel of this caliber, and there aren't enough sun loungers for guests. The cleanliness was acceptable, but the reception service was not very efficient and felt a bit slow. While the hotel is slightly on the expensive side for the quality and service provided, the taxi service booked through the hotel was considerably overpriced compared to regular rates.
GGuest UserNew well designed and run hotel. I was impressed with restaurant staff in particular as they went out of their way to fulfill every customer need. Mr. AAmir, the supervisor, stood out among all restaurant chefs and servers. One little drawback is the narrow ramps leading to basement parking which was tricky to maneuver. Everything else was top notch.

QqarqashLocation is good, but they problem with towels they don't provide enough towels or floor towel even when asked from room service they just brought one towel, and it was old please try to get some new towels.
PProf. ALDUAIS, AhmedThat was a perfect place to stay. Thanks for the very kind staff including Ridha and Nasser.
I extended my stay here two more weeks and Mr Nasser offered me a great package price. Everything here was nice and the breakfast buffet was amazing. A big mall could be reached through the underground hotel.
I am lucky to have selected this hotel for my first visit to the wonderful Oman 🇴🇲.

HHicham BoubetraWithout any prior information, upon arrival we discovered that the entire exterior is under repair. The hotel is large and spacious, but quite old. The service is intended to be quality but does not reach the standards of other equivalent hotels. No doubt the immobilization of part of the hotel under repair has affected the quality of the services. The end of the repairs is scheduled for May 2025, with a swimming pool and a new exterior.
GGuest UserHotel location was great in the middle of everywhere. Furniture was well maintained beds were comfy. Swimming pool was small but my kids enjoyed it. The only disadvantage was staff. We only sow the lady for check in honestly she was polite but no welcoming no one to help with baggage no one in the reception most of the time. House keeping was horrible they don’t change linens even it was dirty and torn. I had to call them to change it. The carpet was wet and they didn’t do anything even they don’t clean tables. Price was reasonable for the location only and having connected rooms was great for my children.
GGuest UserThe hotel is 7 or 8 minutes walk from Qurum Beach, convenient to see the sea view, but there is no large business super nearby, restaurant. I am a girl, traveling alone, and the stay experience at this hotel is very poor. First of all, the taxi at the entrance of the hotel is the hotel's internal car team. The slaughter of passengers is serious and unreasonable. I took it once. The original fare of 5 rias was charged 10 rias. Finally, I took a more detour. When getting off the bus, the Arab driver shouted at me for 2 more riya, quite rude. When I left, I had to take a taxi to the airport and stopped a taxi at the door, but the uncle of the hotel taxi team called the other taxis and forced my luggage to his own trunk, not saying that they had to take the same price. I was angry, but they were unreasonable, and they argued with each other. I called the manager of the hotel, and the manager looked at it and then stood by! Secondly, during my stay, I was knocked on the door by a local drunk man in the next room. I later learned that this hotel has a bar, and the local wind is not good. I did see some local young ladies in and out of the evening dressed in cool clothes. . . The above wrote his own experience, hope to provide reference for the countrymen.
