The hotel is far from perfect but it is the best stay in Iquitos. Customer service is questionable. I had a dispute with the front desk about room rate - considering I could purchase a room online for 30$US per night cheaper than the hotel was charging me. They did not match the rate so I booked online. I was impressed by the way one of the front desk staff dealt with my upset and so I emailed the manager of the hotel to congratulate this member of staff. But the manager and no other hotel staff got back to me about my email. For a Double Tree Hilton (and I have stayed in these hotels around the world), that shows a lack of professional and integrity for the customer. I expect better from this group. But it is the best hotel in Iquitos so I put up with it for the time I am here. If there was a hotel that was at the same standard in Iquitos, I wouldn’t have stayed here as many nights as I did.
In the end, it deserves to stop a moment to recommend an excellent option in Iquitos since this hotel has fantastic rooms with first-level air conditioning and a masteral attention from all staff, The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable.
The breakfast is very average, but the waiter in the restaurant is very enthusiastic. If you have any situation, you will come over and ask for help. You will be asked separately if you want eggs. The room is okay, but the decoration is relatively old. The windows are on the patio. Generally speaking, it is okay. The supplies are not complete, but the good thing is that they can provide free shuttle planes.
Visiting the city of Iquitos with my friends, as we all know, we choose a place to arrive and relax pleasantly that service offering us this famous hotel, which by name cardenal accommodation, When asked why the cardinal was put to him the lady explained very kindly and gently and very carefully to our questions, that the cardinal is a bird ..... When entering her very beautiful and clean rooms and feels comfortable as at home, The attention is first of all with the kindness and charisma and above all the respect they treat you ( thank you for accommodation cardinal) we will soon be with more friends to enjoy your rooms and elegance that characterize them ... I recommend it!!!!
In order to get a full understanding of the hotel experience, you may want to read all three sections: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. The Good: * Amazing customer service (5 stars for this) : The hotel staff wins your heart with the par excellence customer service they offer. Michael and his team at the front desk went out of their way to make our stay a memorable experience. First, the beds were not the best ones for my personal needs. I cannot sleep on foam mattresses. I somehow managed the first night of stay and Michael arranged for a rollaway bed to be put on the floor for the next two days. Our flight was late in the night on the checkout day and we requested a late checkout. The front desk looked up and since their guests were arriving later in the evening, they let us check out late. This helped us a lot with our onward journey. * Location: 3 of the rooms (#2,3 &4) have a nice view of the amazonia river (a tributary of the amazon). Also, the general location of the hotel is right in the heart of the city, just a couple of blocks from the Plaza de Armas and the most happening city square. The tuktuks parked right outside the hotel are a mode of transportation literally from the door step. * The Rooms: A mansion turned hotel with 20 feet high ceilings and so much of space to move around makes you feel at home. All amenities in the room along with potable water jug, microwave, a hot plate, silverware etc. make it such a comfortable stay. A nice pool in the courtyard adds to the get up of the place. Not to mention the beautiful library that one must visit. * Food: Very nice breakfast served with fresh juice and the standard breakfast items. This is not a buffet and is served individually in again a huge breakfast/dining room. The servers are so sweet and take every care to make you feel at home. The Bad: * The hotel is surrounded by tons of work happening and most of the area is being worked on making the place pretty much inaccessible from the first lane. * The location is close to the city center but the locality is not very clean and there are almost like slum dwellings around the place. * The bathroom toilets have a stench that needs to be addressed by the hotel. It's an amazing place but surely would do with some maintenance. * The room has a huge window for the amazon river view but it is sealed by a glass pane. One realizes that it not only prevents noise from the boardwalk area but also prevents mosquitos from entering the room. But again, it could have been designed to be openable. The Ugly: * This section has nothing to do with the hotel but the boardwalk use by the public. You can see teenage boys in the boardwalk area making joints and smoking all evening. Cops do come there to check but there is a limit to what they can control.
This is a nice little hotel conveniently located close to the Playa de Armas which is same as downtown Iquitos. The hotel is impeccably clean, the staff are very courteous and go out of their way to make you comfortable in-spite of the language barrier. The breakfast is very nice. The riverfront is within walking distance and a supermarket nearby if you need to buy something like water etc Overall very satisfied with my stay
It was a great place and convenient location. It's a touch away from the boulevard so you aren't peppered by scammers as soon as you exit the hotel.
While the workers don't speak English a translator worked fine and get everything I need. I didn't see breakfast though and I didn't ask.
My family and I have been staying at this hotel for the past 20 years, whenever we come through Iquitos which is almost every year. This is the only hotel we stay at when we’re in Iquitos. They’re reliable, honest, and the hotel is lovely. The new renovations have made it an even nicer place to stay. They have great breakfast and clean rooms. The staff are always very warm, welcoming, and super helpful.

乖乖小咪Beren water shack area is the water residential area of Iquitos fishermen, the houses here are mostly water hanging wooden houses, built according to the water, most of them are windowless, very local characteristics, definitely worth visiting.
1133***95The iron house on the edge of the weapons square is narrow, like a missing house that is not unusual. But you are completely wrong, in fact, the interior is a large shopping mall, goods are dazzling, goods are many, you can go and see, there is no need, the key is that it is designed by famous designers
XXXX-TripThis museum presents the history of the Amazonians, both before and after the arrival of the Spanish colonists, and can be said to detail this history
1133***95This is the museum of the ship. There are many wooden boats of various ages. From the appearance of wooden boats to the advanced level, you can understand how people went out to sea to fish and how to live with the ship. It has research value.
