Excellent
This homestay is well-located on the main road just north of the center of Banaue. The bedrooms are simple but adequate. They are located at the back, overlooking the valley and some rice fields, so are quiet. The restaurant is excellent for all meals of the day and has a cosy, family atmosphere. Best of all, Beatriz is an exceptionally helpful and welcoming host who is always on hand to assist with a smile.
吴吴Almost impeccable place to check in. First of all, the welcome drink was given at check-in. I chose coffee and Milo. You can also taste the boiled duck made by the local method, and provide Ifugao national costumes to take pictures. The only drawback is that when the room is hot at night, it is difficult to sleep with mosquitoes, and everything else is fine.
FFilipina-lakwatseraI highly recommend Banaue Sunrise Guesthouse if you are planning to stay in Banaue. It is about 5 mins walk to public market. They serve very delicious food so you dont have to go out. During breakfast they also give unlimited coffee. The staffs are very accomodating. Parking is no problem as they will guide you on the parking space, although expect it to be an inclined parking.
GGuest UserI must say, my experience with Pink Hostel was above and beyond. At first, I was a little worried how I'd get to the hostel from the ohayami bus stop, but that was no problem when I was welcomed by a gentleman holding up a sign with my name on it, waiting to take me to the hostel as part of the booking! This was a pleasant surprise, the man's name was Wilson and he was extremely welcoming. As far as activities, they have a trekking adventure as an offer where you spend between 1-3 days hiking around the rice terraces, taking in amazing sceneries led by a tour guide. We were lucky to get Jojo, an awesome and funny guy. If you get him you're guaranteed a fun time! And for the hostel itself, it was clean, comfortable, and very cozy. They have delicious food options and are always willing to have fun playing card/board games at night. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, I felt like I made a new family! Shout out to Kezy and Izel! I'm so happy I stayed with Pink Hostel and met such wonderful people. If I ever visit Banaue again, this will definitely be my place to go to.
PPawin BkkBatad is a valley. You can stay either at the centre (360° view) or on the cliff (panoramic view). Batad Transient House is on the cliff with stunning view of the terraces and the mountain backdrop. Be reminded that a certain level of physical fitness is required to reach guesthouse in Batad as the path consists of a lot of stairs.
The check in was smooth. Due to limited cell reception and wifi, I recommend you make the booking available offline. The owner Irene was kind enough to upgrade me to a double room. Strange that there were little to no mosquitoes at this place. The facilities were basic. The family also provides transport and tour services. You can consult with them for your trip planning.
I had fantastic lunch and dinner at the house. Prices were very reasonable. If you are into family or warm vibes, this is the place.
