I am a frequent traveler and I've traveled this part of the world many times already and stayed in many places. I was unpleasantly surpprised to find a room that was basically at all prepared to receive its guests. I had difficulties in closing and opening properly the door, the fridge was at all functioning the way should function, there were no hangers to properly arrange my clothes and it was quite an adventure to find some food at breakfats, around 9.00am, even though the manager was having his own brekfast while the buffet was quite empty for the guests. However in all this set up, the personel from the reception desk and the ones serving were incredibly nice and helpful during my entire stay. Miss Amina took care to have everything I need in my room, and also to have a proper breakfats in the morning there was nothing to choose from. She was responsive and tried to meet my needs. Also I would like to give a big thank you to Miss Jham as well for making my stay more pleasant. Now, I am wondering: how can a hotel manager be so careless while his team is struggling to offer the best stay to its guests? For the owners of this hotel I believe would make a huge difference to consider hiring a manager for whom the guest are on the first place.

Our room was Deluxe but was upgraded to a premium room. We were 5 in the room. All I can say is that Astoria Boracay is a very good hotel. They have super friendly staff, delicious buffet, luxurious pool and rooms, and a good location. We had an awesome stay. We’ll definitely book here again next time😍

Food was excellent; buffet had great variety. The hotel has very polite staff who were receptive to feedback. Special recognition to Jy, Marv, JP, Jean, Marcy, JR, Edel, Eena, Brian, Butch and Sheryl for going above and beyond -always with a smile. Though the facilities were on the small side and equipment a bit dated, the customer service and location were great.

Best hotel I've been so far. The service was top notch! Everyone was courteous and accommodating! From the warm welcome upto departure assistance. It was indeed a home-feel away from home. Definitely worth a comeback!💕 I found the gem of peace and silence here away from the crowd of station 2! Thank you NAJ for your assistance and for touring us around ! Precious, the front desk officer, kuya jun and ramon for driving us through the free shuttle service, Cherry for giving us good shots! Darlene, Amanda and Angie for keeping our place neat and hygienic! And everyone who gave us their sweet smiles whenever we passed by. Station 1 indeed has the best shoreline and most refined powdery sand out of 3 stations. See you soon again Discovery shores!

The District Boracay is located at station2 near D’Mall Beach front but the hotel is bit worn already The pool has no charm already The breakfast buffet is tasty, but has few choices The reservation for additional person is too pricey compared to Henann and Astoria Current Has no bath tub and laundry bag is just a garbage bag (literally a large transparent plastic that the housekeeper gave me)

Perfect place. My last paradise. Everything is perfect; foods, rooms, amenities, pools, beach, program, staff, weather, services and etc. Love it love it love it

Très bel hôtel situé à la station 1 sur la White Beach un peu à l’écart de l’agitation du centre ville (proche de la plage Diniwid) Tout d’abord je tiens à préciser que j’ai rajouté une 4ème étoile au commentaire uniquement grâce à l’accueil du personnel (notamment l’accueil de la jeune femme ayant réalisé avec nous le check in et Check out) et à la qualité du breakfast. Pour les points positifs : - Très belle vue depuis les chambres - Bâtiment moderne - Accueil et professionnalisme du personnel - Très bon breakfast et restaurant - Localisation - Piscine à débordement Les points à améliorer : - Wifi très instable, c’est un peu limite pour un 5 étoiles étant donné le prix des chambres (400 euros la nuit) - Nombreux trous dans le carrelage de la piscine à débordement, pas très classe pour un 5 étoiles également - Climatisation bruyante dans certaines chambres (ça été le cas dans notre chambre côté plage) - Insonorisation a revoir (plafond et porte) dans les chambres hauts de gamme avec piscine privée - Portes des chambres ayant tendance à ne pas se refermer automatiquement lorsque l’on sort, moyen niveau sécurité - Salle du restaurant très bruyante, impossible de petit déjeuner au calme le matin … - Notre seconde chambre présentait de nombreuses traces de fuites sur le mur en provenance de l’étage supérieur, cela devrait être rénové avant de louer la chambre (rappel 400 euros la nuit) - Les piscines privées des chambres haut de gamme ne sont pas chauffées et non exposées au soleil - Location de scooter à 5000 pesos la journée, c’est énorme !! - Organisation d’événements côté plage troublant la tranquillité des chambres notamment la nuit (jusqu’à 23h) Le rapport qualité prix n’est pour moi pas au rendez vous actuellement étant donné les points cités précédemment, c’est un bel hôtel avec des employés vraiment bienveillants avec les clients et c’est très appréciable mais il faut revoir très rapidement la connexion wifi et la rénovation de la piscine à débordement, avec ses améliorations l’hôtel méritera sincèrement ses 5 étoiles et j’aurai plaisir à y revenir.

Overall Stay: 8/10 Location: Incredible. It is strategically located at the center of Station 2 (DMall Area). Right outside the lobby frontdoor, you will be welcome with all the nearby restaurants, cafés and shops. Entertainment within the property: Excellent. During our 3-night stay, there was an acoustic band playing at the La Plaza. We loved their peruvian chicken skewers. Lobby staff: Average. This resort is a busy one. Many guests coming in and out, every day. So probably the reason at most times not all staff are friendly/welcoming. Even in quiet hours like early afternoon, you will not hear any greetings of that sort. Room: Superb! It was spacious, cozy and comfortable linens and bed. Housekeeping: Don't forget to switch on the 'for housekeeping' button at the right side of the door. We are amazed how the cleaning staff met our expectation because they not only clean the room but go beyond arranging toiletries and clutter. Downs: 1. No detachable hangers at closet. So we have to maximize hanging at the tub to dry out or clothes. 2. No rack as well where could conveniently hang and airdy wet clothes after soaking at the beach. 3. Could be crowded. Overall comment: Would recommend this place to family and friends who wants to maximize their short-stay in Boracay.

My third time going to Boracay, my first time was in Fairways & Bluewater Resorts, however it was too far, 2nd time we stayed in Villa De Oro, and for my third time, we stayed here at La Carmela. Our stay here at La Carmela was a clutch decision but a truly memorable one. We celebrated New Year's Eve 2022 at La Carmela. We stayed there for 9 nights. But I must say, some employees are not that dedicated and passionate with what they do, except for the security personnel who were all very accommodating. I myself, I am a front office agent, I can't even feel the sincerity with the service they provide. I was actually expecting a lot from La Carmela since Mr. Boy Abunda has always been promoting this resort during all his shows, in addition to that, so many celebrities and even influencers have stayed in La Carmela and seemed to like their services. But, to my dismay, all my expectation weren't met, unfortunately. Food is average, our daily breakfast was always served ice cold, pool is massive and beautiful, location is priceless since it's near the beach and just near to everything else where. I just wished they can step up their services including personal services to their guests, most especially that there are already a lot of hotels booming as their competitors. I know La Carmela has been there for countless years already, so why not make their legacy a good one. Overall, our room was okay, we waited for so long for our MUR, plus the ac in my mother's room is not functioning well. Would love to consider this hotel once more as it is perfect for budget travelers like me. stayed for 9 nights with my partner, mother, and my sister, and we only paid PHP 25k for everything including their plated breakfast. - Buffet breakfast was okay; 8/10 wide variety of choices. - Going to and from Dmall is like 5 to 10 minutes by foot, or you have an option of riding an e-trike. - 5 minutes walk to the white beach. - The hotel was located on the main road, yet it was very peaceful. - Staff as well as guards were all accommodating. They always greet guests. - Each room has a balcony. The view is good. They have racks to hang your wet clothes. - WIFI connection was terrible as well as their air conditioning unit. We raised concern to their concierge. After some calibration made by their staff, it was just the same. Meanwhile, they added a router inside the room. It helped at first but eventually WiFi slowed down again. We just let it pass since we only stayed two nights there.
