"Great hotel! Clean and new! Would like to commend all the staffs who greeted us every time we enter the hotel or pass by the corridor. Great breakfast buffet as well! The only factor is the distance from Alona Beach or you will usually ride a tricycle or van to go the Panglao Area. But overall a great stay and will surely comeback! 5 stars ⭐️"

"Pros - the overall standard isn’t far off the lines of JW Marriot in the Maldives - great views from the sea view villa - attentive staff who are more than happy to help. - the beach is is combed every day and free from litter. - the ocean is shallow far out making it ideal for children Cons - A woeful number of loungers. You can’t get on one at all for the day if you aren’t up early enough. - Hit and miss food and room service ends at 21:30 - Drones and people filming on the beach making it surprisingly difficult to relax. - Buffet is just okay.. for example the only fruit available is papaya and watermelon."

"I lived in a mixed gender dormitory this time, I don't know much about other room types. The mixed gender dormitory is still very good, and I feel very quiet. If my English is good, I can make many overseas friends. The hotel feels very quiet and welcoming. Although the pool is small, I still use it for a long time and hope that I can pass SSI Level 1! I slowly started to like to travel, and slowly got used to travel alone. The hotel's Guest Book is especially heart-warming. Many tourists and friends have their best memories in Natura Vista. I hope the hotel will be better and welcome more and more overseas friends!"

"What an amazing find! Location is quiet with good rooms and lots to do there. The views from the restaurant are fantastic and the food is also excellent. The breakfast is nice and we had an early check out at 4am and they even left a breakfast for us to take without us asking which was a lovely touch! The shop is great with local gifts made on site and the coconut ice cream is so so so good (spicy ginger especially amazing)! The rooms are a great size and comfy with good AC. Hot water wasn’t great but after a day in the sun a colder shower was welcome. The only thing lacking here is a beach but there are drivers outside the farm to take you around or they can organise a trip/ scooter rental. In this price range, this is one of the best places we’ve stayed. Will definitely be back. Thank you"

"Hotel is right in front of the beach. Even tho there is not much to do in the beach, there are some interesting restaurants if you know how to find them. First hotel to have a toilet seat, tho the toilet still gets smelly. Breakfast included is okay, but appreciated. Staff is friendly. Find your motorbike from elsewhere cause these ones are a bit too pricey. Overall nice place."

"Our stay at E L Westensee Resort exceeded all our expectations! This place is ideal for those who are looking for a combination of coziness, comfort and excellent service. Our villa was simply magnificent: spacious, stylish and very cozy. Snow-white bed linen and impeccable cleanliness created a feeling of real luxury. The hotel staff are real professionals! Very responsive, sincere and always ready to help. When we decided to rent a bike, it was delivered right to the hotel - new, powerful, for only 500 pesos per day. It was incredibly convenient for trips to Alon Beach (only 7 km) and to local attractions. I would like to separately note the breakfasts. The food was delicious, fresh and prepared with love. A real pleasure to start the day with such dishes! We were pleased with the proximity to the street with cafes and restaurants - literally a few minutes walk. This allowed us to try many local dishes and not depend on transport. Special thanks for organizing an early breakfast before our departure - everything was ready at 5:30, and the transfer to the airport was waiting for us on time. E L Westensee Resort is a place where you want to come back! The warm atmosphere, perfect cleanliness and caring approach to each guest made our vacation simply unforgettable!"

"We had the most amazing stay here at the Secret Garden Resort. We stayed in a lodge with private pool which was perfect. Nothing is overly fancy but everything is perfectly functional. Restaurant on site sells pasta and usual Philippino food. Breakfast is from a set menu, not a buffet. Perfectly fine. Staff were friendly, helpful and just a whatsapp message away if you needed anything. Not too far from Alona Beach, the airport or Tagbilaran Port so it was the perfect location for us. We were honestly sad to leave after 7 nights here and already want to come back!"

"our host was most delightful and this truely is a special place. This place is for the type of traveller that is wanting to emerse themselves in the visaya culture of the philipines. my plan was to spend just one night here and move on but between the peaceful serenity of this place and the amazing host Enid we ended up staying an extra three nights. we left early for an.island hopping tour and our host was up at 4.45 am to make us a lunchbox that we hadnt even requested. Bohol is still underdeveloped but that is the charm of an personality of this place. we rented a car and food outlets where in tagbilaran although there are some lovely local places that are on Panglao island just 5 minutes away. everyday spent at this resort was relaxing and charming. This area has suffered due to the pandemic and i woud encourage tourists to come back and especially to stay at sherwood resort . Thank you Enid and Ann for letting us have a resort of our own for a few days and the amazing hospitality"
