"Subject: Feedback on Staff Training and Late Check-out Protocol
We are frequent Savoy guests. Our check-in was excellent (paid early check-in at 7:00 AM, room upgrade, and confirmed late check-out until 3:00 PM by Vanie).
However, on the day of departure, we were repeatedly called at 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM by a different front desk officer, who disputed the confirmed 3:00 PM check-out time. This staff member demonstrated a severe lack of coordination, empathy, and professionalism, attempting to bargain and failing to honor a promise made by a colleague due to a system oversight.
Recommendation: Staff require urgent refresher training on communication, coordination, and emotional intelligence.
Minor Feedback: The lobby scent is still bothersome and does not mask the surrounding drainage odor. Please consider a clean, refreshing scent like peppermint or eucalyptus."
"The Hotel was placed a small distance from the Naia T3 airport. You can get there by using the Runway Manila bridge. A good 5 mins walk.
Staff were very polite, helpful and all smiles.
The gym was clean and equipments looked new.
The pool was clean, and the drink was delish. Kudos to the bartender!"
"Location is perfect if you're have a flight is near airport plus they have a free ride to airport make sure to booked 2 days a head. Near to SM Moa and Ayala mall Okada. wifi is so strong no need to put a password automatically .Breakfast need to queue for 30 minutes.
Room is clean pillow in bed is superb. Only downside the TV in the living room every 15 minutes goes to stand by mode remote control not working properly need to press in the main tv to work again. We end up watching in the bed room. I call for maintenance still annoying goes to stand by mode every 15 minutes."
"My overall experience at Grand Westside Hotel Manila was good — the property is modern, clean, and the staff were courteous throughout my stay. However, the room assigned to me was on a lower level, and every night I could hear loud music and event sounds. As I was staying for five days on a business trip, this constant noise interrupted my rest and made it difficult to recharge after long workdays. For short leisure stays, the lively atmosphere might be fine, but for business travelers seeking quiet and uninterrupted rest, I would recommend requesting a higher floor or a room away from the event areas"
"We stayed overnight in this hotel. The room was spacious and had a large smart television. It smells fresh, generally clean and well-lighted. The bed was comfortable but the pillows are too soft for my preference. The check in and check out process was seamless. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. The buffet breakfast had a fewer choices, and some of the drinks and food hadn’t been refilled and I had been made to wait for little under 30 minutes with some other guest because of limited seating capacity of the cafe and I think the hotel at that time was fully booked. We also had a problem with the air-conditioning as it wasn’t cooling well but it was address immediately by their maintenance staff."
"Rooms are standard quality, we liked the privacy despite being placed close to the buffet room. We actually enjoyed that we were assigned to the same floor as the buffet room so we can go there as early as it opens lol. This is our second time staying here and we really enjoyed the places around it. We needed to be near the SMX and it was below P100 for the grab fare. Plus, other restaurants were walking distance, like this mall with S&R in it, then to the other block we found an Orange Bucket restaurant with very good seafoods.
Very nice experience!"
"My family and I had a truly memorable stay at The Manila Hotel from October 17–19, 2025. We stayed in a Club Room with access to the Executive Lounge, which also came with upgraded amenities that made our experience even more comfortable and special. Everything from check-in to check-out was exceptional. The staff’s warmth, professionalism, and sincere care stood out the most. Special thanks to Mr. Patrick, Ms. Roxette, Mr. Jared, Ms. Lycel, Ms. Hershey, Ms. Ann, and Ms. Chesca from the Executive Lounge for their attentiveness and gracious service. Their kindness added a lovely touch to our stay. The Housekeeping Team was also excellent, respectful, efficient, and very thorough. Every staff member we met embodied the genuine Filipino hospitality The Manila Hotel is known for. The experience was seamless, heartfelt, and truly world-class. Maraming salamat, The Manila Hotel! I look forward to returning soon."
"Staff: Wonderful hotel with professional staff. My booking was originally a king size bed but I requested a twin. They did everything to met my needs.
After a long flight I wasn’t in my best mood and they did understand and deal with me with respect and understanding.
Room: simply wonderful as usual.. this is my fourth or fifth stay and I’M will be always my home in Manila."
"First stay here. Arrived around 12pm and met by Kierk. Received a warm welcome. Fortunately room was ready for me. Check in was a breeze. When I got into my room, my first impression was WOWWWWW! Big room with a sofa bed. Nice carpeted room with a big comfy bed and pillows. A set of soft and firm pillows. Big working desk and complete drink amenities. The shower needed some trial and error though. But I finally manage to adjust the hot water (there’s a safety knob). Strong and warm. Will definitely stay here again."

Great
DDauzOnlyI stayed in Manila, Philippines, and chose this hotel for a short staycation. It’s located in the Malate area, slightly on the outskirts of the city. From check-in until check-out, I was treated so nicely even though it’s a 3-star hotel, the service felt top-notch! 🏨
The staff, from the security guard to the front desk and housekeeping, were all super friendly and helpful. As you can see, the room is spacious and comfortable. The hotel facilities are impressive too there’s a rooftop area with a kitchen equipped with a fridge, waffle maker, oven, microwave, and other appliances. The rooftop view is beautiful, especially in the evening! 🌇
What surprised me the most was the free Sunday shuttle service to popular tourist spots such a thoughtful touch! The hotel also has a gym, game room, and some nice OOTD photo spots. There are vending machines for snacks and drinks as well, though I didn’t try them since I wasn’t sure if the food was halal.
Overall, I genuinely enjoyed my stay here definitely not overclaimed! Will surely come back again. Special thanks to Miss Jalen at the reception she was so cheerful, kind, and helpful throughout my stay! 💕

GGuest UserWe were together with my husband in Manila in this Hotel. The best positive staff, good, clean and fresh room and also Hop inn shares a building with 7/11, you can buy whatever you want 24 per 7. It was amazing experience. Only want a small cheap Café with local breakfast. And it will be the best option. Thank you ❤️🫂
MMiranda and Purag Travel BuddiesThis was my third stay at The Bayview, and once again it didn’t disappoint. My room on the 11th floor offered a breathtaking view of the sunrise and sunset—truly the highlight of my stay. The Christmas decorations around the property added a beautiful, festive atmosphere. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast featured delicious Filipino food along with great coffee. Transportation was easy, as taxis and Grab rides were readily available after checkout. The guard and hotel staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Another wonderful stay!❤️💪
GGuest UserI recently stayed at Hotel Sogo, and I must say that my overall experience was pleasant and satisfying. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how well-maintained and organized the place was. The room was exceptionally clean, which gave me an immediate sense of comfort and relaxation after a long day of travel. The floors were spotless, the linens smelled fresh, and the bathroom was tidy and well-sanitized — no traces of dirt or unpleasant odors at all.
The housekeeping staff clearly does an excellent job of maintaining cleanliness. They were very polite and accommodating whenever I requested for towels or extra toiletries. Every time I stepped out and returned, the room was always in perfect order — bed neatly fixed, trash emptied, and surfaces dust-free.
Aside from cleanliness, the room ambiance was cozy and peaceful. The air-conditioning worked well, the lighting was just right, and the TV provided a good variety of channels. The bed was comfortable enough for a restful sleep, and the overall environment was quiet, which made it easy to unwind.
I also appreciated the staff’s friendliness and professionalism. They greeted me with smiles and made sure that check-in and check-out were fast and convenient. Their hospitality made me feel welcome throughout my stay.
The location of the hotel is also a big plus — very accessible to transportation, convenience stores, and restaurants. It’s ideal for travelers who want a clean and affordable place to stay without sacrificing comfort and convenience.
Overall, I would describe my stay at Hotel Sogo as clean, safe, and comfortable. It’s a great choice for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize cleanliness and good service. I would definitely consider staying here again the next time I need a quick and relaxing place to rest.
LlussssterMy siblings and I had a decent stay overall. The place was clean and comfortable enough for a short visit, and we appreciated having enough space for everyone. The location was convenient, and check-in went smoothly. There were a few minor things that could be improved, like [insert example—e.g., the Wi-Fi connection or water pressure], but nothing that really affected our stay. All in all, it was a good experience for a family trip and offered fair value for the price.
AAnonymous UserNice place malapit lng mga food store. Spacious dn ang room and very accommodating ang mga staff. Sana nxtym prepare niyo na po ang toiletries kc hassle pag baba pa at hihingi
WWillchurchThis is my third time to experience the Hotel as solo traveler. Cleanliness is good and fine. The hotel staffs are accommodating. Good service. The meals are thru buffet. Good quality meal. Have tried the hotel breakfast. Nice and good. One of my best choice to stay in Manila.
MMartinAxlOur stay at Arzo Hotel - Manila was absolutely wonderful! The staff were warm and accommodating, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. Highly recommended!
Accessible to train station, to different sites in Manila like Luneta, Paco Park, National Museum, one station away to Intramuros! ✨
MMaecelThe room was so tidy & clean. Highly recommended. Although if your hungry you need to order food, because they don't offer food downstairs. Suggesting to open their mini resto downstairs. So that their guests will no need to go out to look for food. Thanks
