"The hotel has a spa, a spa, a sauna and a spa, a restaurant and a bar, and a city with some restaurants with a very tasty local food. The hotel staff is very careful and patient, especially with children. The dog living in the hotel is very gentle and friendly and is not inconvenient (for anyone who fears animals, he does not intervene without calling him). The rooms are generous and the internet is functioning throughout the space, except in the pool and spa."

"The hotel is beautiful with the mix of old and new architecture. Plenty of FOC parking inside the fortress(hotel) and outside. Walking distance to the town and everything you want to see in Chaves. For EV cars, there is a chargeable charging station inside the hotel’s parking."

"Vidago Palace Hotel is very easy to access by expressways. The service is impeccable, and the rooms are large and well-renovated. The hotel has a beautiful balcony and pretty gardens.
The dinner there had a good choice of food, and the wine list is pretty extensive, and expensive.
Worth a visit even if is not cheap for Portuguse standars."
