"Great location for Faro central. Near lots of shops, restaurants and places of interest. Good choice of breakfast available from 6:30am-midday. Lovely spacious rooms and large balcony. Free air on and tea making facilities in room. Towels and basic toiletries provided also a hair dryer. Only downside is they didn’t have a pool 😪"

"This property is located at a walkable distance to the Faro Marina area (10min walk). It is very conveniently located to catch Uber or public buses. The Algarve Shopping Mall is just a 5 minutes ride, which gives you access to multiple food and shopping options. The staff is very nice and friendly, the rooms are well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast was just fine, given its just EUR 9 per person per breakfast."

"Decent Stay, but Could Be Better for a 4-Star Hotel The Good: • Location: The hotel is in a great spot—just an 8-minute walk from train Station and only 10 minutes by taxi to the airport, making it very convenient for travelers. • Breakfast: One of the best parts of our stay! A great selection of food, and the addition of a piano playing in the background made for a lovely atmosphere. The Not-So-Good: • Bathroom Issues: Unfortunately, the bathroom had a bad smell, which we believe was caused by water collecting under the floor for a long time. The shower design was also frustrating, as water would leak out onto the bathroom and toilet floors. Additionally, the ventilation fan didn’t seem to work well, which made the smell worse. • Construction Noise: This was a major issue. There was loud construction work from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., making it nearly impossible to relax in the hotel during the day. • The overall entrance to the hotel didn’t feel like a typical hotel—it was busy and had a commercial feel, more like entering a shop or mall. We’d rate it 3/5. While the location and breakfast were great, the bathroom issues, construction noise, made it feel below 4-star standards. With better maintenance and some upgrades, this hotel could be much better!"

"Beautiful hotel in an excellent location on the waterfront, within easy walking distance of many local shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants, historical sites like the old town, and the local bus station which is handy for a bus to the airport. The hotel is very clean and well-presented, and has a very nice restaurant and rooftop bar. The rooms are large with a luxurious feel, however a gap under the door let in a significant amount of light and noise from the corridor, although the corridor and other areas of the hotel were generally very quiet. The hotel restaurant is good, however doesn't really have much for vegetarians, and nothing for vegans, and is generally limited in choice, which is disappointing as the dining room is very nice, and the staff are excellent. The restaurant is also more expensive than many of the surrounding restaurants which offer broader menus and more choice for those with dietary restrictions, so was not very appealing. In all, I found this hotel to be very pleasant, and good value for money, with excellent, friendly staff who accommodated me well with their perfect English."

"The hotel was very clean, staff very welcoming and allowed us to check in way before time. It’s close to the airport as well as a big shopping centre so everything is in close proximity. The staff cleaned my room every day I was there and we had light and food when the whole Portugal had power outage. Will definitely recommend"

"Social events were brilliant! Staff very friendly and the hostel had a very social atmosphere. I liked that the rooms had privacy curtains. Everything was clean. Good sized rooms and comfortable beds. It was a bit noisy at night but from people outside - not the fault of the hostel. It was also a bit hot in the room but reception offered to help with any AC issues."

"Very good hotel, very central, beautiful decoration, modern, good value for money, the only thing a bit of a shame is to only leave 2 coffee capsules once for 1 day/night for 2 and not to provide 2 for each night spent."

"Great location! Cozy «family» dinners for cheap every night at Hostellicious with delicious homemade dishes, wine, sangria at the family barbecue at Casa D’Alagoa (see pictures) Everybody was very respectful in my 6 person female only room, and quiet at night. Made friends with many of them every day during my stay!  Lots of places to hang with people both inside and on the patio, beautiful interior  Lots of activities with great prices just for people staying at the hostel, like boat tours, hiking, bike rentals, pub crawls every night with hostellicious Bring a padlock with a thick neck, a thinwire padlock doesn’t work for keeping your drawer locked.  Sun umbrellas can be rented for like €3!! Took it to the praia de Faro. Just a ten min walk to the port from the hostel, €4 with the ferry, amazing long strip of beaches  Faro has my ♡"

"O hotel é limpo e bem localizado mas não oferecem nada, nem água. Chegamos tarde para fazer o check in e tivemos que sair a procura de um mercado pois não tinha nem água no quarto. Ficamos 4 noites e só tivemos o quarto limpo uma vez a pesar de sempre deixarmos o sinal na porta “por favor limpar o quarto”."
