Very good.

Lovely location in Foz for people who prefer to stay somewhere calmer than the centre of Porto. You can catch a 500 bus nearby or the tram (about 500m from hotel). The hotel is near the beachfront and overlooks a castle. The best points are the panoramic roof view out to sea, bar and pool area. There is some underground parking available. The staff were extremely helpful and even helped us get our car out of the garage. We had a large vehicle (Toyota Hilux double cab) and managed to park it in the underground car park. If you are a confident driver you can get it in. The hotel was extremely clean. Breakfast was busy but still managed to appear calm. This is a good hotel for the price in a good location. The rooms were a little hot but you can open the windows. Would we come back? Yes.

Sadly this place did not live up to its 5 Stars. Location: Too far from Porto. In good traffic 15 minutes. View: Sea view across the main dual road and lovely boulevard Room: We took one of the two sea view rooms in the main house. Dismally dark. One slim window looking out to sea but against a far wall so no view really unless you stand and go to the window. Same slim window in bedroom with direct sea view. Great when awake only. Bathroom has same but when using need the blind down, do no view. The ‘unique’ shower looks directly across to the next property. Again, blind down. The best part was absence of beside tables. Nowhere to put items and no light switch. This was about one meter above you where a shelf sat across the width of the bed. Sofas, if you can call them that, would. E better placed in a garden or play area. Breakfast: Basic, no daily variety. The same every day. Eggs were awful and served alone poor things! No garnish, nothing. On two occasions we asked for grilled tomatoes and were told it was not possible. What?! So whatever eggs you order presentation was zero from ten and taste was the same. You can guess what the rest was like based on this. Best dish was poached eggs served in a bowl of warm water! Service was slow and without pleasantness. Room service: Appalling. Simple request for ice and some lime slices took 20 minutes and arrived with lemon slices. Two more attempts on different days. Ice and orange slice. After 15 minutes ice and a peeled orange presented in a cloche arrived. With a bill for €5!! Needles to say this was sent back. Housekeeping: Dreadful. No requests, and there were not many, were adhered to. Simple extra towel requests were ignored, or am overload of towels delivered Beware, turn down is attempted at around 16:30/17:00. So a huge disappoin**ent for a similar size cost. Much better places close and in Porto with lovely views. Try the Yea**an. Check out: Would have been nice to have been asked whether we enjoyed our stay.

I've never experienced such a trip around the world in hotels like youth hostels, in the home of the inhabitant or even in a camping area. The hotel was very comfortable and was very comfortable. So when we arrived we had the good surprise of having hair and hair on our hairdraps. Of course, the staff is welcome, but when we saw a bed punishment (See Photo) on one of our mattresses, he did not do the necessary. In fact, he only came to the room to sparke the bed punishe with a special bomb and then took it with a mouchoir and only changed the drape of the bottom. We still stayed in this hostel for the other half of the week and we have not changed bed or room while the punaises are in the matalas and therefore need special intervention. I was surprised to see the hotel's views and I was far from being the only one who found bed punishes.

The facilities are great and very modern. The breakfast was amazing and had, in fact, a big variety of choices.

I booked this hotel in 2021, the reservation was confirmed and sent to my email, however, when we arrive on days 15/07/2022, which our surprise when they say you have no booking registered in my name, The hotel was full, and they managed to solve it and waiting with us in a booking room behind the reception. The room was super-antiquate, the a/c was not working, we tried to open a window but it was almost impossible, when we managed to close again because of the noise of the machines. The floor was alcatified and all dirty and in bad state, The hotel was a very bad experience, the toilet was renovated. The next night they managed to put us in a room at the first floor, honestly in infrastructure was almost the same, but the toilet was very bad the shower was squirting all over. honestly I think it was the worst four stars I've ever been. At least breakfast was reasonable.Email customer service is also very bad. They devalue even the customer, I think I never had such a bad experience.
